White Horse is a song about how love can look a little bit differently than we might expect it to. I think we grow up in our society completely surrounded by that fairy tale idea of what love should be, but maybe love is even bigger than that. I think it’s important to be open hearted and to push the boundaries of what society might build up in our expectations. I love that this song stands strongly in the idea that love isn’t always about the ivory towers and the roses.

This young lady from Canada is talented way beyond her years. She has Nashville paying attention. What lyrics she puts out there for us to enjoy,and then her unique voice gives me chillbumps and tears, if she don't make it big then something's bad wrong

Tenille Townes has a great voice and her band is tight! She is the future of Country Music and I can also see her as part of an Adult Contemporary revival. She needs to sing her songs and not be boxed in. One of the best and brightest Canadian artists in a while. Advice, Tenille it sounds like you have a great band behind you. Keep them and give them the credit they deserve. Don't copy the sound of other artists and keep each new song you sing distinctively different from your previous release. Today's Pop singers have sound alike records and they sound like each other. You are awesome!

@Les Brown well to start with she classifies herself as a country artist. As for me I can't/ am too lazy to explain why it sounds like a country song to me, it just does.
@Les Brown there are also so many sub genres and genres that cross into each other as well, at the end of the day who really cares as long as it's a good song.

This is another great song by the amazing Tenille Townes and if you haven't done so yet do yourself a favor and check out her song "Somebody's Daughter "..."Countin' change at the lemonade stand" This young lady is just incredible. Great rhythm and tempos in all her songs, amazing lyrics, and a voice that just grabs your soul. Someone mentioned a young Stevie Nicks and although it's never fair to compare two artists, she does have that powerful and unique ability, and captivating Stevie Nicks style, range, and soulfulness. Her other songs in her catalog that requires honorable mention are "I Kept the Roses" & "Where you are".

gr8 effort tenille! i don't usually listen to country, however i caught your song while channel changing on fm radio. i heard like 30 seconds of this song( enuff for just over a verse) and was really attracted to the sound. this track has gr8 energy and an uplifting feel to it. am def gonna check out your other songs. wishing you tremendous success with your music and in your personal life.
