Vs. The Last Jedi; a blockbuster movie set literally only for Rian Johnson. That critics loved... somehow. (PS. as audience member not hyped up for BvS at all just watching it in cinema since it was there; it kinda sucked big time.)
Man, Affleck did such a good job as Batman its sad to see how the whole thing just fell apart. I would much rather have watched a standalone Batfleck film.
Superman did not use guns , but why the soldiers around him started shooting people and burning their corpses , since they could not make Superman look guilty , because he does not use guns ?
I always just thought the Martha scene was supposed to symbolize Batman realizing that if he killed Superman right then, he would've been no better than the criminal who killed Bruce's parents. Those were the dying words of his father, the words that showed that Thomas Wayne died trying to save his family. And that if Bruce killed Superman right then, he would've been the same thing that he swore to fight against. That's what I took away from it anyway.
That's what basically everyone understood from the scene. People's complaints have more to do with how dumb the scene comes off. Superman starts calling his mom Martha because.....because.....the plot needs to move forward, and Batman, despite Superman proving he knows who Batman is and reasonably could have googled his basic life story, starts screaming like a moron "*Why Did You Say That Name!?!*. That is until Lois Lane comes into the scene and proves how important she is by doing the first *actually* important thing she's done in the movie that doesn't involve being rescued!
+TabalugaDragon he didn't see a vision. he had a dream. why would he think that superman knows something? Superman was talking Martha like she's alive.
This is still my favorite Honest Trailer to this day. They didn't hold back at all when covering this movie, and the fact that they made an extended version just proves how much material the movie gave them to poke fun at.
The problem with DC is they're trying to match the hype of Marvel. It took 9 years for Marvel to get to where they are now. And DC tries to catch up to that in like 2 or 3 movies? Just burning through years worth of good material? Wow.
Marcus McJelly Yeah. Eventually the MCU is gonna fizzle out and come to an end. If DC had done it right by stretching their movies out, fans would start to shift towards them. After 10 years of Marvel domination, people are gonna want change.
Marcus McJelly Well Marvel isn't all that perfect either. You tend to get tired of disposable one film villans where the good guys ALWAYS win. At least Superman died. Even if he's coming back there's still that sense that not everything is gonna work out.
"Even if he is coming back?" He is coming back. He's announced for Justice League, there was dirt rising from his coffin, and really, do you think they leave Superman dead after his second movie? His death was badly done. It was too soon, unearned, and immediately after the story takes whatever suspense they had from it by saying nope, he's coming back. Marvel is getting better about the villain problem and in the newest movies, even if the heroes live, that doesn't mean they win or even if they do, they still lose something. And before you accuse me of being a Marvel fanboy, I'm saying this all this because whether you like them or not, Marvel has a game plan, even if they haven't always perfectly executed it. DC seems like they have one, but its been executed badly. That needs to change. Hopefully, Wonder Woman is the sign of that change.
Guys, regardless if you hated it, liked it or loved it... this video is for comedic purposes. How sensitive are you? I for one think this is a 7.5/10 movie for me, but even I can accept its flaws and man are Honest Trailers usually funny.

Villain: Wait are.... you serious. You're actually letting me go? Batman: Martha right? Villain: No.... I mean.... YEA.... Batman: Say no more Fam...
@Danny Malzahn That didn't stop him, not even in the slightest, from going on the murderous rampage he did throughout the whole film. How is DC supposed to make their cinematic universe feel connected, if they can't keep the characters consistent. The Dark Knight was based almost entirely on Batman's rule of not killing. It was a primary theme in the Nolan trilogy. Changing the actors was bad enough but flip-flopping between whether or not Batman kills people without any explanation at all really hurts the film imo.
Caden Young It's still incredibly jarring. It's clear that DC didn't have a long term plan ala Marvel's Avengers build-up campaign. Nolan's trilogy wasn't created with the express purpose of helping set-up or segue into a Justice League movie. However I am pretty confident in saying that if it were not for the huge success of Nolan's trilogy (and also for the fact that DC is basically playing catch-up with Marvel at this point) we would not see The Justice League currently getting the movie treatment. I feel it's a poor move to just ignore Nolan's Batman especially considering it pretty much paved the way to a live action Justice League movie being very profitable. It's not like Nolan's trilogy is an old mistake that DC is hurriedly trying to forget like Spiderman 3 or every Fantastic 4 movie that's come out. As much as what you said is fact it's still feels like a pretty big mis-step on DC's part.
DC casting is insane. Apparently, Jesse Eisenberg came in giving a pretty decent Joker performance and they went "LEX LUTHOR: NAILED IT." Then dumped a bag of hot topic accessories in front of Jared Leto and told him to use them as character motivation.
People tend to forget that about the Joker. I hear that complaint all the time. But, his performance was so awkward that I just started laughing every time he talked. But, his performance is not terrible. The enchantress actress was a hot mess.
Estania Duroseau I dunno, he came off more like of a sadistic goth-obsessed thug than anything. Joker is the clown prince of crime, eh? Even Ledger's more grounded portrayal wasn't a thug, more of a nihilistic Mephistopheles. Part of this is the fault of DC itself, who keep injecting 2005 era hot topic and nu-metal aesthetics into their characters, especially Harley Quinn.
Hark Yes! Yes! You're right! He comes off exactly like that. I think he's trying to mimic the Jack Nicholson Joker but it backfired on him. You speak the truth about DC, my friend. Their movie all have that vibe; they might think its cool and edgy because popular movies like Now You See Me and Nerve are doing it, but it doesn't work if everything is not put together. Yes! The commercials and whatnot really showboated Harley Quinn as this. It's pathetic. DC is really trying to be something they are not and because of it, they are having films like BVS. Suicide Squad is okay film but meh it could have been a lot better.
I am with the critics on this one( and I am a DC huge DC fan). These people literally destroyed a film that had so much potential. There was so much potential, all wasted by haphazardly put together characters and bizarre story telling. What happened to lex? Where's Doomsday's backstory (it's really cool) ? The entire movie feels kinda rushed.
I'm just gonna paraphrase what one of my friends said about this movie: "If you have a Batman vs. Superman movie and it isn't one of the most epic things ever, you done fucked up." And they had three hours to get it right, so...yeah. Damn shame.
yup. It should not have mixed reviews, it should put Marvel to shame. Instead they put Marvel in a pedestal. For fucks sake, they made a C grade superhero (Iron Man) into one of the most interesting characters out there
alejandro avelino I generally think people do not want to dislike a BvS so they cloud their judgement. It's like dating a crazy as hell hot chick, just focus on the hot part and ignore that she laughs at a toaster and practices witch craft with dead pigeons and Rubix cubes
I’m glad Batfleck got the well-deserved appreciation from honest trailers. I thought he was going to be terrible but is now one of my favorite Batman portrayals.
Because since then they've always done the pearls. personally....I didn't like it. It felt very...I don't know, try hard in my opinion. The fact Thomas wayne goes for Joe Chill, or how Martha kinda does to, and the pearls just happen to go between the hammer and the chamber. It kinda screamed "I have to make this better than the other times somehow." And its a scene made worse by "Martha!" because then it becomes clear the only reason Thomas Wayne says Martha before dying, despite pretty much every other Wayne death having no last words, they made Thomas say something for the sake of the audience going OHHHHH! I GET IT, when the scene happens.
funny how everyone hated the idea of Ben Affleck being Batman, saying how terrible he is, pointing out to Daredevil yada yada yada and one movie later Ben Affleck is now THE Batman
It was dumb. The climax of the movie is based on Batman discovering that he and Superman have mothers with the same name. So the greatest detective in the world that 's done enough homework to not only discover Superman's weaknesses, but also coordinate the fight to take him down, never ran across the fact that both their mothers have the same first name? Yeah, right. I'm cool with suspense of disbelief, but this is just asking for suspense of brain activity. Not gonna happen.
Nathan Zimmerman I understand that that moment of realization that Bruce and Clark have mothers with the same name, and that's the only person that crossed Clark's mind as he was about to die, was powerful enough to see some form of humanity in Clark. But batman should have already known about the name similarity as soon as he started researching superman!!! He's the world's greatest detective. He beats his opponents by knowing them better than they know themselves. He would have known about Martha and wouldn't have been shocked when superman said her name. That would have led him to not care and kill superman. Or he doesn't fight him in the first place. At any rate, that scene either doesn't happen, or batman kills superman.
+Akinola Emmanuel no it was about Batman realising that Superman actually has a mother and that he left Superman defenceless in the same manner his parents killer left him.
You Dont E.N.O Again, that's a piece of information he would know from the very beginning when he was researching Superman. It wasn't that he had a mother, of course it would be assumed that he had one, it was about the name.
5:20 Are you talking about the part where Superman says, "You're letting Martha die?" And Batman, not knowing that Superman's mother's name is Martha, immediately percieves that Superman must know about his identity and the murder of his parents, and must be telling him that his actions are becoming like that of the man who murdered his family in front of him, and by association are effectively killing his mother all over again metaphorically by becoming the very kind of person that got her killed in the first place? You know, the one where, by having flashbacks of his mother's own murder, he realizes that his obsession with killing Superman, who was currently not a man found guilty of murder ( thus an innocent man ), he realized he was betraying the very reasons he became Batman in the first place? Finally, it was the scene where after realizing who Superman's mother is, he finally learned that Lex Luthor forced Superman to fight him in order to save his mother's life, because Lex Jr. was gonna have her killed? And it was out of compassion, sentiment, and understanding that Batman promised Superman, "Martha will not die tonight."? That scene in the movie? That's the one you are claiming solely centers itself around Bruce and Clark having mothers who share the same name? Yes? Okay, just checking. :3
Superman opens the fight calling Batman Bruce, so crazy Batman should expect that maybe this alien has at least whatever knowledge a quick google search could dredge up such as that his parents were murdered and what his mother's name was. He states he needs help before attempting to murder Batman, so this alien is clearly not above using dirty tricks in a fight. Batman only survives the wild haymaker Superman throws because he gassed him seconds earlier They punch for a bit and Batman is about to kill that lying alien before he squeaks out Batman's mother's name. Pretend you're Batman now. Do you: A) Scream "why did you say that name!" despite the fact this alien has very intimate knowledge of who you are and wait until Lois Lane finally does something useful in the movie. B) Kill that alien who already knows your real identity and is not above using dirty tricks like bring up your mother's name to try and psychologically attack you. That's where most people start having issues with the scene. It isn't because they really think that having mothers with the same name causes them to stop fighting. It's that the way the scene is put together, even knowing all the emotional stuff going on in the background, they decided to make it look like their mother's having the same name causes Batman to realize what Alfred already tried telling him 2 hours earlier in the movie and stop fighting.
Edit - Huh, your comment isn't showing up when I look at this. I bet I look like a crazy person now! *causes Batman to realize what Alfred already tried telling him 2 hours earlier in the movie* Since you said blood related, I assume you're talking about Damian, his son who he didn't learn about for years and was raised with the League of Assassins. Not sure why you mentioned it though. Seems kind of random My main point of contention is that Batman has the grand realization that he's becoming what he hated, a murderer, and decides to not not kill Superman because that would be wrong. He then flies the Batplane over to save Martha and guns down a line of trucks, killing all of those people. So what was his big epiphany? He was wrong to want to murder Superman but murder is still okay if people shoot your bullet proof plane? *He states he needs help before attempting to murder Batman, so this alien is clearly not above using dirty tricks in a fight.* As far as Superman was concerned at that point, Bruce wasn't a good man. He was a murderer he was being manipulated into fighting that, for no explained reason, he thinks might be able to help him find his mom. The fact that he throws a punch that would have killed or, at the very least, severely injured Batman for really no reason makes no goddamn sense. The way you describe Superman, he's basically a stupid meathead. He wanted to talk but then Batman shoots him with some regular bullets and now Superman needs to *force him to listen to him*. Superman really should have just left. There's no reason to assume Batman would be able to help and there certainly isn't any reason to stick around and make him understand what's going on. All he had to do was say Luthor is manipulating us and if Batman doesn't listen, just leave and go find his mom. Luthor clearly isn't watching the fight since he doesn't know they teamed up and Superman can apparently hear across oceans in this movie, so hearing his mother in the same city would make sense. *A) Scream "why did you say that name!" despite the fact this alien has very intimate knowledge of who you are and wait until Lois Lane finally does something useful in the movie.* As I pointed out, Superman opens the fight saying Batman's real name. A simple google search would reveal his mom's name at that she was murdered. Adding to that that Superman apparently lied about needing help before trying to kill Batman, there is no reason for him to question why Superman said the name Martha. It would all come off as a dirty trick to try and win the fight. Everything he did in this fight implies he knows Bruce's identity and is a dirty fighter. Batman should logically assume the alien is trying some cheap, insulting, last ditch effort to save his own skin and killed him instead of screaming. *B) Kill that alien who already knows your real identity and is not above using dirty tricks like bring up your mother's name to try and psychologically attack you.* You're forgetting the fact that Superman appears to be fine fighting dirty and lying. Why demand that he tell you what he's talking about? Batman didn't care at all when Superman's says they're being manipulated, but then the lying alien says his mother's name and all of the sudden anything he says will be the truth? If Batman believed everything Superman said, he'd be dead right now for all he knows after that haymaker Superman threw immediately after "asking for help." So why waste time with hearing him out when it seems like a cheap ploy to stall for time? It seems more reasonable for crazed murderer Batman who didn't give one hot sh!t what Superman had to say earlier to just murder him instead of screaming a question with an obvious answer or, as you suggested, interrogating him.
lol pretty much, if they had placed it in the right moment and had maybe been kind of leading up to their reconciliation and that was the thing that really clicked then it could have gone over so much better. However Batman had seemingly few second thoughts about killing Superman then totally changed his mind from that one awkwardly placed plea.
David Goyer is one of the most least talented screenwriters in the biz, that also for some reason has a lot of ignorance and animosity towards comic book properties. Why they keep letting him work on them is beyond me.
Wrong. He wrote the script but it was a bigger mess than the last draft so WB called Terrio to polish it but Terrio is a mediocre writer too who can't handle a lot of plotlines so he didn't polish it at all.
That’s okay, Sups is a reporter for a major city newspaper and doesn’t know what billionaire playboy and Gotham real estate tycoon Bruce Wayne even looks like.
The animated where the Batplane is invisible? Where Superman is a dog? Where Batman can fight Superman without Kryptonite? Where Robin is here and is useless ? The Dark Knight Returns is not perfect
My biggest gripe about this movie was that the entire main fight between Clark and Bruce was hinged on a lack of communication. but 10/10 would watch again for just Wonder Woman.
Snyder was promoting Watchmen at the time he said that. He was upset that people were saying Batman Begins was realistic because he felt that since there was no threat of Batman being raped in prison, it wasn't realistic, dark, or gritty. On the other hand, Batman could *totally* get raped in his movie, so *his* movie is *really* dark and realistic and stuff! If you haven't already noticed, Snyder is kind of childish and dumb.
That wasn't the point of the quote. The interview is clear, he was angry people said Batman Begins is so dark and realistic while he thinks Watchmen was more so. It pairs with more recent statements where he says pointblank that comics that don't feature a lot of sex and violence don't interest him at all.
No, he meant that in watchmen, batman could have been like rorschach before that kid. Batman is no more than human, and many of those had some f*cked up sh*t happen to 'em. So... Ya.
For anyone who really wants to see a GOOD Batman vs. Superman fight, go watch the animated version of "The Dark Knight Returns". Seriously, it is about ten times better than this dreck.
The Dark Knight Returns is good, but BvS handled the characters much better. In TDKR Superman is working for the government, and is taking orders from the president. because the president tells him to take in Batman . . . he does. Even though Batman's his oldest friend. I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. Why is Superman suddenly a completely different character? TDKR is an else-worlds story, and the characters are too different, so the conflict isn't relatable. In BvS, Superman has no choice but to fight. He remains the same character. They did it better in BvS.
You know, it's alright for people like me to have enjoyed this movie. We acknowledge that it wasn't perfect by a long shot but for the most part I found it an entertaining movie. Civil War was still better. That part we can agree on
Jake Kale I love DC just as much as I love Marvel... so a lot. I'm not trying to make a point. I thought BvS was a train wreck. It did shame to both Batman and Superman. I personally thought Civil War was even worse because it ruined one of my all time favorite comic book story lines with atrocious dialogue and unnecessary pandering.
"Too man sub-plots".. Superman, Batman are merely two seperate stories that converge and with Wonder Woman's introduction, not just another cameo, integrated well into the same final story.. OK fine.. Where are the other ""unfocusing" sub-plots (don't tell me the 3 cameos that took a mere less than 5mns from the 150min (3hrs UC) screentime?.. The real (few) problems lie elsewhere, more subliminally and of a deeper thematic nature
It showed the battle between two very recognisable movie figures , maybe the most recognisable , so that saves the film from obscure narrative and prejudiced character presentation . . .
Har Ton Tell me i am not the only one that paused the video because i found the duration of it long . This film has quality moments . There are hidden , but there are there .
Superheroes are supposed to be bigger than that. In the words of John Cena "Rise Above Hate" Superman especially is supposed to be the height of human achievment, what we should strive to be. He has always risen above hate and oppression, and a world that thinks he's obsolete. So, sorry, but a bitchy, moody, emo, high school man child is not what anyone wants to see.
Like the other guy said, Superman is supposed to represent everything good about humanity, he's supposed to be the best that we can be, he's supposed to be a being that's above whatever hatred or resentment people throw at him. The way they portrayed Supes in this movie is another testament about how Zack Snyder knows absolutely jack-shit about Superman (or comic books in general).
Alex crespo is Awesome Sauce I remember seeing that thing when I was a kid. The only memory I have is an episode opening with a woman eating a deer or something.

It was suppose to be a recent change where he got more ruthless at this point and their still alive because he caught them before his change. Still a dumb change.
Yeah. I just read that which makes all of this even dumber. Robin also kills? Batman breaks his one rule? Why would Gordon support him? Nothing about this is accurate to the batman mythos unless they're doing golden age batman. Man I hate the murderverse.
That's a fan theory, it's still never confirmed that his killing is a "Recent development" in his life. And even if it was, that begs the question of Why he would kill as of recently, but not resort to it upon learning about people like the Joker... There are so many things wrong with the screen play of this film, it's just astounding.
It was disappointing- I hated what Snyder did. DC should just fire him and get someone who actually knows how to write a story. Suicide Squad was better than BVS- it actually did its characters justice.
The title at the end was comedy gold "can't do them all justice". Luther's list, "an actual bat", one syllable word burn, what an excellent honest trailer!
I agree. too many things going on that didn't fit the narrative of the title. a 8 minute fight scene in a 2.5 hour movie. watching middle aged, depressed superman as he moped and doubted himself the whole movie. no thanks

Jesse Eisenberg is playing the love child of Heath Ledger's Joker and Jim Carrey's Riddler trying his best to make a Lex Luthor impression.

Did he have to continuously scream "Why did you say that name?" For that?
+avi Mittal
because he saw a vission of her mother's coffin and Superman saying it got him confused - maybe Superman knows something about it?
+TabalugaDragon he didn't see a vision. he had a dream. why would he think that superman knows something? Superman was talking Martha like she's alive.
Avi Mittal it was a vision sent by Flash. And it's because of that it confused Bruce. Anyone would get confused after what Batman was through
This is still my favorite Honest Trailer to this day.
Mr. Magnificent Wow. Took the words right out of my mouth. That's exactly my point.
Hopefully, Wonder Woman is the sign of that change.
that's kind of why the made them nearly three hours long

Sometimes, I think they didn't even try at all. They are too busy trying hard to be something they are not...
But Jared's Joker was perfect. Wish his role was longer tho
People tend to forget that about the Joker. I hear that complaint all the time. But, his performance was so awkward that I just started laughing every time he talked. But, his performance is not terrible. The enchantress actress was a hot mess.
Estania Duroseau
I dunno, he came off more like of a sadistic goth-obsessed thug than anything.
I want a spiderman movie where the ghost of uncle ben says : "Kill them all, Peter."
LOL would watch 10/10 and Marvel Spiderman would actually kill them all over a snicker bar with smile on his face to impress Mr.Stark!!
I don't get the joke?
That would be awesome.
And everytime Spider-Man punches a bad guy, there's CGI shockwaves and buildings crumbling and shit!
it's scary because he could actually do it.

Honestly the scene in the beginning when Bruce's parents got shot, where the pearls went flying and stuff was pretty cinematically amazing.

Wow, talk about people that don't understand that scene.
+WannaKnowMyName I understand the scene. I think what you don't understand are the circumstances leading up to it.

Are you talking about the part where Superman says, "You're letting Martha die?" And Batman, not knowing that Superman's mother's name is Martha, immediately percieves that Superman must know about his identity and the murder of his parents, and must be telling him that his actions are becoming like that of the man who murdered his family in front of him, and by association are effectively killing his mother all over again metaphorically by becoming the very kind of person that got her killed in the first place?
Batman only survives the wild haymaker Superman throws because he gassed him seconds earlier
They punch for a bit and Batman is about to kill that lying alien before he squeaks out Batman's mother's name.
Pretend you're Batman now.
Do you:
A) Scream "why did you say that name!" despite the fact this alien has very intimate knowledge of who you are and wait until Lois Lane finally does something useful in the movie.
*causes Batman to realize what Alfred already tried telling him 2 hours earlier in the movie*
Since you said blood related, I assume you're talking about Damian, his son who he didn't learn about for years and was raised with the League of Assassins.
Not sure why you mentioned it though. Seems kind of random
My main point of contention is that Batman has the grand realization that he's becoming what he hated, a murderer, and decides to not not kill Superman because that would be wrong.
He then flies the Batplane over to save Martha and guns down a line of trucks, killing all of those people.
So what was his big epiphany? He was wrong to want to murder Superman but murder is still okay if people shoot your bullet proof plane?
*He states he needs help before attempting to murder Batman, so this alien is clearly not above using dirty tricks in a fight.*
As far as Superman was concerned at that point, Bruce wasn't a good man.
*A) Scream "why did you say that name!" despite the fact this alien has very intimate knowledge of who you are and wait until Lois Lane finally does something useful in the movie.*
As I pointed out, Superman opens the fight saying Batman's real name.
*B) Kill that alien who already knows your real identity and is not above using dirty tricks like bring up your mother's name to try and psychologically attack you.*
You're forgetting the fact that Superman appears to be fine fighting dirty and lying.
Why demand that he tell you what he's talking about?
Batman didn't care at all when Superman's says they're being manipulated, but then the lying alien says his mother's name and all of the sudden anything he says will be the truth?
If Batman believed everything Superman said, he'd be dead right now for all he knows after that haymaker Superman threw immediately after "asking for help."
So why waste time with hearing him out when it seems like a cheap ploy to stall for time?
It seems more reasonable for crazed murderer Batman who didn't give one hot sh!t what Superman had to say earlier to just murder him instead of screaming a question with an obvious answer or, as you suggested, interrogating him.
irks the shit out of me that everyone is too stupid to understand that. Fans of DC my ass

Dude's a hack...
lol pretty much, if they had placed it in the right moment and had maybe been kind of leading up to their reconciliation and that was the thing that really clicked then it could have gone over so much better. However Batman had seemingly few second thoughts about killing Superman then totally changed his mind from that one awkwardly placed plea.
Scott Snyder...enough said.
David Goyer is one of the most least talented screenwriters in the biz, that also for some reason has a lot of ignorance and animosity towards comic book properties. Why they keep letting him work on them is beyond me.
Everyone think's he's good just because he co-wrote The Dark Knight trilogy

"Batman could get raped in prison." What?
Snyder was promoting Watchmen at the time he said that.
He was upset that people were saying Batman Begins was realistic because he felt that since there was no threat of Batman being raped in prison, it wasn't realistic, dark, or gritty.
On the other hand, Batman could *totally* get raped in his movie, so *his* movie is *really* dark and realistic and stuff!
If you haven't already noticed, Snyder is kind of childish and dumb.
He just means Bruce was already overpowered even before he became Batman, therefore not realistic
That wasn't the point of the quote.
The interview is clear, he was angry people said Batman Begins is so dark and realistic while he thinks Watchmen was more so.
It pairs with more recent statements where he says pointblank that comics that don't feature a lot of sex and violence don't interest him at all.
Bluemew1234 What. The fuck.
No, he meant that in watchmen, batman could have been like rorschach before that kid.
Batman is no more than human, and many of those had some f*cked up sh*t happen to 'em.

"Brooding, moping, and wondering why he even bothers." Yeah, these days that's pretty much the American way.
That's not even what happened in the movie ..
He was sad cause he couldn't save those people in the Senate bombing ..
@@dignerds O.K. Karen.

thye cant... it is to complex and awesome to be made fun of....
That wouldn't work because Watchmen was awesome.
MOTHERFUCKING WATCHMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MindaugasLegend ikr haha but they could talk good about it, it would be cool
Seriously, they burnt threw like 6 storylines all at once. Simmer down, is DC ending tomorrow or something?
Samantha Butler Dc's biggest mistake ever.
100% agree my dude
@@cian2168 Don't forget introducing Wonder Women.
The DCEU ended with Justice League's failure.
2020 here and DCEU is still alive , the Snydercut is about to come out and DC is better than ever before.
This never gets old I've seen this eight times already and still think its funny and true.
Lol me too this is at least 6 or 7 for me
Who else paused and read Lex's full plan...Just me
I honestly gave up half way.
at that scene i waited for Tony Stark: "not a great plan"
I did.
me
I did.
This one had the single most hilarious satirical title at the end out of all the Honest Trailers so far.
Speaking of which. Do Suicide Squad!
That killed me 😂😂😂Teenage Mutant Abomination Lord of the ring Cave Troll
😭😭😭
"Batman could get raped in prison." What the hell dude ? He's Batman!
You know, it's alright for people like me to have enjoyed this movie. We acknowledge that it wasn't perfect by a long shot but for the most part I found it an entertaining movie.
Civil War was still better. That part we can agree on
I'm not a die hard fan so I found this movie to be great.
I hated BvS, but I hated Civil War even more.
Civil war was boring Af, the only good scenes were with spidey in it
+KillJoy I have not met one person that has said that and wasnt an in closet DC fan trying to make a point
Batman : Do You Bleed?
Superman : Yeah, Twice A Week.
Batman: .....

Lmao 🤣🤣🤣
3:23 the WonderWoman cameo was by far the best part of this movie.
Basically:
Too many sub-plots and batman bias to make it a focused or even film
Also Henry cavill is a good superman it's just he's written and directed poorly in the films
Brother Ares I feel like a mos2 with lex and bizzaro would've been better than bvs.
Did anyone else read Lex's entire plan?
I tried to, but stopped after about 30% because most of it was either a lie or misrepresented.
+TheZurreal what r u taking about? Everything is 100% correct
I did
I did. I paused the video to do so. It was 100% accurate.
I did. It gave me a small migraine.
this was more entertaining than the movie
Nobody cares
no
Wow...so original
***** Or your shit videos
ANYTHING is more entertaining than the movie
"I'm more than a bird, I'm more than a plane..." This guy is hilarious!
And "The Battle of the Century between Critics and Fans" was taken by the Suicide Squad.
Now its the war of the century DC fanboys vs Critics... And Rotten Tomatoes is being caught in the crossfire.
I'd say it is "DC Fanboys vs Anyone with Taste"
Ryder R It would be bigotry if I hated DC across the board. But I love DC. I hate BvS. It was crap. Most people think so. Get over it.
I support the fans, Suicide squad was good in my opinion
I'm a fan and I can't stand that movie.
Superman has nothing to smile about. Humans hate him no matter how much he tries to save everyone.
The way they portrayed Supes in this movie is another testament about how Zack Snyder knows absolutely jack-shit about Superman (or comic books in general).
freddieawsome1
except that Superman was raised as a human so he feels like one. It's called Character Development.
Spidey is a human so he has no bearing in this conversation.
MrConstantine02
he is about the humans hence why he sacrificed himself for them
Honest trailers - Smallville (2001-2012)
Heck yeah
Smallville ran for 11 years!? Holy shit...
Well they did have 11 seasons, season 11 had Barbara Gordon as nightwing
Alex crespo is Awesome Sauce I remember seeing that thing when I was a kid. The only memory I have is an episode opening with a woman eating a deer or something.
You mean Amy Adams before she was Lois Lane
5:49, "who's idea was it to cram so much into one movie?" So true!!!
By far your best honest trailer in ages. And I LOVED the movie. but almost 100% of this is correct and hilarious.
especially Max Landis
Hector Salamanca
The video made me think that people are either too dumb to understand the martha part or they just want any reason to hate on the movie.
+frank almonte same he's just stupid right now
was he supposed to be lex Luther before he went bald, or joker before he went white.
I think the biggest problem with Batman killing people is that it makes zero sense that any of the villains in Suicide Squad would be alive.
Shoot Batman's bullet/rocket proof car = *Instant Death by a rain of bullets and your car exploding!!*
Be a giant crocodile man that eats people = It's cool man, you totally can be rehabilitated through the criminal justice system.
It was suppose to be a recent change where he got more ruthless at this point and their still alive because he caught them before his change. Still a dumb change.
Robin's weapon from when he was alive kind of suggests Batman was fine with killing criminals since at least before 10 years ago.
There are so many things wrong with the screen play of this film, it's just astounding.
it was just not a good movie
I'm not a hater nor fanboy. The movie is just bad.
+R.J Williams People have opinions........ well you either just don't have a brain or don't care to use it.....
It wasn't bad.
It was disappointing- I hated what Snyder did. DC should just fire him and get someone who actually knows how to write a story. Suicide Squad was better than BVS- it actually did its characters justice.
Not a good film for Marvel Studios junkies indeed.
The title at the end was comedy gold "can't do them all justice". Luther's list, "an actual bat", one syllable word burn, what an excellent honest trailer!
This Honest Trailer is the nail that seals the coffin on how awful BVS is.
Agreed.
it was awful? if you say so
I agree. too many things going on that didn't fit the narrative of the title. a 8 minute fight scene in a 2.5 hour movie. watching middle aged, depressed superman as he moped and doubted himself the whole movie. no thanks
Bruh, they didn't even full blown shit on it like they would usually do.
This statement doesn't even make sense
Calling Lex Max Landis is a bold move coming from screen junkies.
Max seems fine with it: twitter.com/Uptomyknees/status/755461807666376704
It's just a joke.
Me too. I was worried Max would rant on Twitter but good thing that he took it like a gentleman.
Max is a self-made man LOL
It was a friendly jab... they like Landis (hey c'mon we all do pretty much)
also Eisenberg said he based the performance on him
It's too early for good comments I'll come back later
lol
you're good now
The Last Son of Crapped On... Truly an apt description of how they treated Superman in this movie! Look how they massacred my boi :(
