Burn might be this decks worst match up. Thank god every other Tier List beats burn right now, so you don’t see it much. What other decks do you find prowess having issues with? 12:22
I think the most consistent pain at least in my sample amounts has been the energy variants since they have almost all adopted ring. It's not unbeatable but probably the one I have most with right now.
Hey! Been a while since the last Temur Prowess video (well this one technically Temur but yeah). Do you think it still has a chance to do well in the meta (comparatively to the Prowess energy and Gruul lists)? Also, what do you think of Violent Urge as an instant speed Assault strobe with +1/+0 upside? Thanks!
I think at this point prowess overall is poorly positioned as is just about any creature aggro deck between the fast combo and midrange interaction heavy decks. If you are going to play prowess, play what feels most functional and fun to you. There is not that much difference between temur, izzet, jeskai and the gruul energy variance's other than 10 to 12 cards so the core remains the same. It comes down do you prefer consistency (URx variants), combo (Gruul w/assault strobe etc), or a bit of a longer game with amulet. Violent urge is interesting, might have to add it to fringe cards to test like Ghor-Clan rampager and a few others.
