Delaying the Mystical Tutor for Tinker to upkeep when you had mana open to avoid them seeing P Portal and sacrificing stuff to Bombardiers was really high level play. I think I learned something there.
It was very obvious that LSV enjoyed playing this deck very much. The look of delight on his face as he repeatedly looped his combo in that last game. A smile inducing image to be sure.
Hey Luise, We met really briefly at the Pro Tour. I’m one of the 40,000 viewers who watch all your Cube videos. You tried to start a conversation when i approached, but I was so starstruck that I couldn't handle talking to THE LSV. 😂 I just managed to get a pic with you and then bailed. Until next time! Cheers, Sebastian
Awesome deck. That breach p3p7 was just "chef's kiss". lol and to think that the deck was just missing an Academy. :D ahahah Great vid. Can't wait for what's to come (and to watch this one again when you post your top 5 combo cube's of the year). ;) thanks for the great content. :)
Wow i loved this one! I watch every draft but these kind of combo decks are definitely most fun. And i think lsv is at his best with this sort of decks 😊
Awesome deck! Love when your cube decks come together and do a whole bunch of different things well all at once. Like the iconic mono black reanimator deck that played tendrils.
I have yet to see the dredge stuff a single time, yet alone doing anything good. The black 2 drop with adapt has overperformed-It has stolen wins on board states that most would scoop to. Red haste land was obviously going to be playable given the opportunity costs, but it's been better than I expected at pushing through those last points of damage in R/G.
There's no Dread Return, Narcomoeba, Ichorid, Bridge from Below, etc. in the cube which is really stupid. Dredge is fundamentally a combo deck built around Bridge from Below. It's like putting Mishra's Workshop in the cube but without any colorless artifacts with 3+ CMC.
Mtgo cube draft videos are awesome because we can watch some broken decks like this one which would never be possible in paper or in the team drafts with all the hate draft that is practiced hahah
Tiny tip on the urza loop to cut the number of clicks, I think you can press the urza pay 5 ability and then once you're in "pay mana" mode you can tap artifacts for mana with one click each, rather than two clicks by clicking urza's tap ability then an artifact for one mana each time (might be completely wrong tho haha but iirc it lets you do that)
I just love this deck. I didn't see the win at 39:18 so I would have probably just used Phelia to leave up cryptic tap bounce on the opponents turn by flickering Underworld Breach. This is somewhat of a softlock where as long as you exile three cards from your graveyard every turn, you can keep casting cryptic on beginning of combat every turn as long as you have the 6 mana for it and they don't cast a post combat blocker threatening your growing phelia. 😂
A little sad the switch back into black didn't happen a few picks sooner with the mind twist pack into imperial seal. I think those would have slotted in nicely!
The problem I think with Vengevine in cube is it’s the type of card that’s exponentially better in multiples. It’s one of my favorite cards of all time, but I still don’t think it belongs in cube
The dredge stuff sucks, unfortunately. But the lands stuff has been very good to me. I'm currently on a 4 trophy streak with all lands decks (the new mono white, always open).

That urza breach sword combo turn was a thing of beauty
which one? Haha, yeah awesome
Man this is one of my favorite cube decks in a long timmee
Love Winston, but there's just something about cube drafts...
I dont watch the winstons
@@yamchadragonball6983 thanks for the info
This was my favorite LSV Draft of the year, I LOVED everything about it.
That was me in the last game. I drew 5 lands and 2 randoms. Looking at the 7 you drew into i have huge regret. GGs lsv
The wheel was a little ambitious 🤣
Your draft deck was excellent! Sometimes the fortune wheels the wrong way. 😅
He can't keep getting away with it!
@scottsmith675p0 Put it this way: you were the opponent giving a gift to Luis. Net time you would be the opponent getting one 😂
Were you just looking for Force?
It was very obvious that LSV enjoyed playing this deck very much. The look of delight on his face as he repeatedly looped his combo in that last game. A smile inducing image to be sure.
10:50 Ain't no way MTGO just auto selected talisman over black lotus 💀
It is definitely worth playing in the MtGO queues every so often so that we can draft sweet decks like this.
three different combo kills is crazy
The madman out here combo-ing everybodys Tix into the void
Becoming busted doomsday in the last few picks of P3 is so great
And then not even playing it because the deck is too good already :D
LSV cube video + Lunch, the perfect combo

I'm not normally very interested during deck building, but hoo-boy. I'm all in for this one.
Oh what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say "meh" at will to old Jaces
Imagine opening a black lotus and it's not in the thumbnail. What a deck

What shenanigans is LSV up to today? Answere: yes 😅
This was one of those videos that reminded me how much better LSV is than I am. Sweet deck, and well played!
"Flare enough!!!???" Since you are about to have twins, I'll allow this lvl of dad puns.
That was the funniest last 7 picks of a draft I've ever watched.
Edit: never mind, LSV didnt have the balls to go for doomsday
I agree that it was a weird deck, but it was a lot less weird for LSV than for anyone else I could imagine.
Gourgeous deck! Having so much fun watching..
Great vid as usual,
cheers!
Awesome deck!

Wow, the draft was a wonder to watch!
You could’ve replayed portal from the yard after making infinite mana with Urza and then blinked it to basically wipe their board to really rub it in.
Been watching your content for years, one of your best drafts yet. Deck construction was the best.
G2G1 - love when you are counting your way through a combo win.. Masterclass!
The funniest moment of this video was definitely the one where Underworld Breach poped up in pack 3 :D
54:05 was certainly a decision of all time
The state of MTG where Jace is considered just ok.
Glad to be back with the good stuff! Leagues feel like Vintage+ with the busted stuff people regularly pass while forcing their pet deck
I am now inspired to go try vintage cube myself it looks awesome. Thanks LSV
holy shit that last game was so good
I didn’t think he could possibly top the games from match 2!
one of the sickest decks of this channel's career, damn
Oopsed into Grixis, how strange 😂
I have yet to see the dredge stuff a single time, yet alone doing anything good.

Emperor of Bones? I got embarrassed by that last night, learned a few things about the timing tricks with it.
yeah i had the dredge deck be completing open with a bit of animate stuff and it was ass.
The fact that you can give 2 creatures haste with that land is actually crazy good, also getting a hasty fury or escaped phlage ends games real quick.

Love the Winston but today was peak LSVintage Cube draft!
13:56 good thing you took that lotus!
This is like the coolest deck ive ever seen
Ohhh opponent that wheel was not it 😂
This was an all timer LSV
A little sad the switch back into black didn't happen a few picks sooner with the mind twist pack into imperial seal. I think those would have slotted in nicely!
Damn, last opponent was just dumb as a door kkkkkkkkkk
Not playing the Doomsday combo is the worst best decision you've made.
Fun fun. Great content
passing the tendrils made me a bit sad lol
The problem I think with Vengevine in cube is it’s the type of card that’s exponentially better in multiples. It’s one of my favorite cards of all time, but I still don’t think it belongs in cube
That was a fun watch.
Classic LSV content
fantastic draft, will you be back on twitch sometime?
God now i want capn crunch
a lot of the dredge cards are v hit or miss but have been very much enjoying the stuff you can do w master of death and squee
Awesome video!!!
Instant classic
The dredge stuff sucks, unfortunately. But the lands stuff has been very good to me. I'm currently on a 4 trophy streak with all lands decks (the new mono white, always open).
Lunch time
This was awesome brother.
Does Snapcaster Mage look like Ken Jeong?
show&tell emrakul not a winning play? I'm not a cube expert, would love to see that play out
Were you disappointed in the top 4 being just Nadu decks? I was expecting ruby storm to put up more of a showing, but so it goes.
No Doomsday? But think of the content!
This is why I'm bad at cube. I always want to go for full meme potential. I would have slammed Ritual, Yawgmoth's Will, and Doomsday into the deck.
I understand the combos but sometimes I don't understand the sequencing. My knowledge of the rules is weak.
Advanced MTG
I swear if I see one more tinker portal breach brain freeze sword thopter foundry deck /s
Sir 3-0? Normal.
28:20 why not just mystical for tinker+portal...instead complicated the game?
Turns out deck building is way harder when you only have four lands. Your mana sucks and you have way too many playables.
