I like this Darrin too very much. Dick Sargeant was a great actor and very dedicated. 🕊️
When Dr. Bombay zaps out the test equipment and changes back into his football uniform the effects are impeccable and the sound effects are awesome.
Sam is a sweet and caring person. Loves her family. Sounds just like Elizabeth.
Samantha IS Elizabeth. ❤
For so many years I believed this "house" was real. But it was a fairly-convincing set, with elements that changed over the years.
Yeh it's lovely 👍😊
@@beverlygannon4141...BUT PHONY-!!!
*DOCTOR BOMBAY CALLING DOCTOR BOMBAY EMERGENCY COME RIGHT AWAY!*
I loved Dr Bombay. Him and her uncle. Can’t think of his name at the moment
Uncle Arthur
Uncle Arthur
@@neoanderson8279 Thanks!!!! How could I forget him?
Uncle Arthur
Look at Elizabeth Montgomery at 1:33 - She's trying not to laugh!
She's so charming and has such a beautiful smile
That is what I thought, I remember seeing her do that in the episode with the Pie's in the face.
@@steviebboy69 Yeah, she did. After she got the first pie in the face you could see it and hear in her voice she was barely controlling it.
Wow, I had those same sheets and pillowcases that they had in their bedroom.
Sam was a beauty . What a great show
Her dad was Robert Montgomery.
It helped her beauty!
Elizabeth Montgomery was Beautiful and she played Samantha so well. She was enchanting 😉
Too bad both of her co-stars were the ugliest men I ever saw!
@@hannablue7038 That always amazed me, too. Seemed strange that the husband of such a beauty wasn't even good looking, especially given that he had no discernible personality other than being extremely conformist and conservative, along with insecure and trying to stop Samantha expressing who she really was as a person.
@@hannotn Take your azs to hell
Darrin is thinking like a regular person. Pity, it did not last.✌ 🤣
I love their way of talking...so much class😍
Love Dr Bombay!
Pretty sure this is a remake from an earlier season when Dick York was on the show. I know several episode remakes from previous seasons were done after Seargent took over the role of Darren.
It is how upsetting
York did this exact same scene. The writers on this show were lazy and uncreative.
Yeah they even have the exact same exchange about him feeling sorry for himself.
Just like season 1 Darren when he twisted his ankle
I remember this episode from Bewitched favorite like funny
Personally I think she should have volunteered him for a few shifts in the local soup kitchen.
Get him seeing others that are dealing with life's tough times
Why did she need to do that? It’s just a TV show…can’t you have a little fun once in a while?
Hey samantha was so beautiful love her
Very Very good 😁😁 TV show Very Nice 💕
I love her dress in this episode
When Darrin said he was tired if all this Bucking witchcraft we know what he really meant . "F"
Um, no, that's just you not having a command of basic diction. "Bucking witchcraft" means fighting against it while outnumbered, which is the context of the sentence.
3rd.....CLASSIC.....I was 12 when this aired...... funny today..he'd NEVER Get away with "Tackling his Nurse" ..or "Making a Pass" at her.... ..Sexual assaulter Dr Bombay
Dr. Liberace
When you get to know the series, it is crazy how many scenes, and scripts are just recycled. This is the exact lines from the first season of "A is for Aardvark". Except Dick York did it better.
Fun fact: dr bombay spent some time during ww2 in German POW camps.
drewpamon. That doesn’t sound like much fun. lol
@@cindyhutchins5939 yeah the other prisoners didn't like him much either. Kept trying to get him to escape.
Look at that single bar across the face of the helmet. How much protection did those provide compared to todays helmets?
Since it might have been enhanced with magic...
@@jaredhamon3411 Food for thought!
What episode is this?
Actually, they did similar/remakes episodes during the first five seasons. A couple of examples are LITTLE PITCHERS HAVE BIG FEARS and SOAP BOX DERBY. Young boys with single parents that Sam wants to help. Another set of similar episodes are A VISION OF SUGAR PLUMS and HUMBUG NOT SPOKEN HERE. Two mortals who don't believe in Christmas and Santa Claus are taken to the North Pole by Sam to meet her friend and to restore their faith in the season and its meaning.
There are other examples, but these are four of my favorite episodes. I saw an interview with a member of MY THREE SONS and he mentioned that around season five, they started repeating their own episodes.
After season five, Elizabeth Montgomery expressed a desire to move on. It took a pay increase and part ownership to keep her. Without her, BEWITCHED would've ended, and there wouldn't have been SISTERS AT HEART and other fun episodes.
Kerry Keene Bewitched did end because Elizabeth Montgomery wanted out.
She was offered a pay increase but she refused.
Her marriage ended and she started a relationship with a director.
Samantha's "witches honor" has no honor.
She lied to Darren before they were married.
She promised not to EVER used witchcraft, and it was NOT EVER due to pressure from Darren, because he didn't even know she was a witch.
He was abused, tortured, humiliated, bullied, banished, had spells cast on him, he was lied about and lied to, and his own wife,
always sided with her evil mother Endora over her own husband, she was supposed to love and support.
Endora didn't even have the decency to call Darren by his name.
Yet...post after post...from witches in the comments...more trashing and abuse towards Darren.
He deserved better.
You Crazy????
Yes, he deserved Gladys Kravitz, or someone of the same mould as his mother, as he had the same narrow-mindedness and desire to not make waves. That's the one big failing of the whole series... that it's just impossible to imagine a beautiful, vivacious, loving woman like Samantha finding anything attractive in such an insipid, boring, charisma-free zone.
Witches and evil feminists love roasting Darrin. They have no dignity nor honor, because they cheer on the evil they do in their own lives.
I hope you realize that Bewitched is a television show and that Darrin is a character portrayed as written by a staff of writers.
@@thatjpwing No man! This is real!
Bernard fox is a lot slimmer there than he is in James Camerons Titanic movie
A spell on Darren. Endora. Or uncle Arthur. Maybe Sarena.
wowwwww they really did repeat a lot of scripts and dialogue! This plot as well as some of the lines are straight up duplicates from an earlier season.
bril episodes too good
What good days wish we cud go back to these simpler times instead of what we have todays world thru world leaders a d Governments 😢😢🤢😭
Dr. Bombay played the part of Mr. Merriweather on Andy Griffith??
Dr. Bombay tell such a terrible jokes.
Nothing against Dick Sargeant, but I just can’t stand his interpretation of Darrin. I feel the same way about the 2nd Gladys Kravitz. I can’t remember the actress’s real name, but I thought her “Gladys” was spiteful and mean.
Sandra Gould.
I was( going to guess 12 but he has 24 on
Paul Lynn
Wow he is so dry and unlikable, ew.
Dick Sargent was unlikable as the second Darrin. From Ms. Harper Stacey.
