DO YOUR RESEARCH! Washing uncooked chicken just increases the chance of spreading bacteria throughout your sink and entire kitchen. Cooking chicken thoroughly kills all bacteria anyway, so washing is not required. As for all the comments about her not washing her hands after handling the chicken, did you ever hear of that thing called television? They do this wonderful thing called "editing". Washing hands is boring, so the edit that out.
This is complete bollocks. If washing uncooked chicken spreads bacteria all over your kitchen then so does washing the cutting board you cut the raw chicken on, the knife you cut it with and anything that chicken has contact with, including your hands. Any paper on cross-contamination that tells you not to wash the chicken will most probably also tell you to wash the worktops, chopping boards and utensils thoroughly. I wonder what sort of magical method you're meant to use to avoid cross-contamination when you wash all of that, and why you can't use that method when you wash the chicken itself.

Food is amazing, i mastered it in last 15 years. First the biggest mistake in this video is to say to slice it even so they cook evenly and shortly after put it piece by piece in ,,oil,, pan. It would take some time and it would not cook evenly in the nearest way possible. You would need to check every piece from the first one put in. Be careful with sesame oil, it is strong, it last long and it kills tastes of other ingredient. For all the chefs out there it is better to dry the meat before using corn flower. You will not need to use that much oil, you will just have separate pieces covered in corn flower. You can put all the chicken pieces all at once. As all Asians/Chinese chefs do. Add garlic to this sauce and chilli, it will make another layer for even better taste.... if you want. Dont use ketchup... at all. Use little bit of solamyl (little by little) to make that texture. Ketchup doesn´t belong into this type of kitchen. Regarding the solamyl, mix cold water with it before putting it into hot/warm food! Mixing one spoon of cold water with one spoon of solamyl. When serving... put rice, sauce and meat at the end, don´t mix it. It will loose the crispy crunch that some people are looking for. If you don´t like it you can always put the crispy chicken all in the sauce but after mixing you can´t separate it. I hope these tips will make your food even better. Thank you for presentation! Corn flour is a yellow powder made from finely ground, dried corn, while cornstarch is a fine, white powder made from the starchy part of a corn kernel. Both may go by different names depending on where you live. Corn flour is used similarly to other flours, whereas cornstarch is mainly used as a thickener.

1. It’s not mandatory to wash your chicken. As long as it’s fresh and you have stored it properly it’s safe. I still do it anyway, but you’re not automatically going to get salmonella if you don’t was it. 2. Washing chicken can actually be more dangerous if you don’t thoroughly clean up your work space afterward. A little bit of chicken juice that wasn’t cleaned and is now exposed to room temperatures creates more bacteria 3. Only America has a big issue with the “need” to wash chicken. The way we breed, store and process livestock is very unsanitary compared to most other major countries. You can get chicken sashimi (raw chicken sushi) in Japan and it’s very safe because of better farming practices 4. I love this recipe, but wtf did she just wipe her hands on towel after mixing that raw chicken into the eggs mixture?
nancy I know! That was so gross.
I knoooww!! Please wash your hands with soap gurlll
I think it cut to her drying her hands after washing them
You noticed too!
@@anythingelse5965 don't lie. There is no cut
1:30 how did she know i have a pipeleak in my pantry
Shout out to "Ayam" brand from Malaysia 😍
If you spray the honey container with a little cooking spray or give it a little grease before putting it in the dish, you don't have to heat it up, and you'll get all of your honey into your sauce.
To check if the oil temperature is right. Simply place the end of a wooden chopstick in it. If the temperature is correct the oil will fizz.
Not gonna lie when she pulled that chicken out the package n started cuttin without washing it... i almost had a heart attack
Derique Potillo don’t wash chicken you fucking donkey
what the fuck are you washing your chicken for? unless you can physically see Dirt on it there is no reason too. the chicken being properly cooked will kill all the bacteria. the bacteria is INSIDE the chicken so washing the outside of it does nothing anyway
Idiot!
You know, when you think about it. There’s something quite messed up about coating a dead animal, in it’s own babies. haha
@@naseemaganie7492 Yeah... in my belly
Depends how much you've smoked I think
😆😆
the eggs aren’t fertilized, so no, its not its babies :P
The comments on cooking videos are always about how sanitary the person cooking is? You're not going the eat the chicken she just made, so why does it matter lol...you people need a life.
Sooo true
and you're not going to read the comments you dislike. Her unsanitary behavior is for condemnation
@@Dosadniste2000 1. You don't need to wash meat
2. I'm sure she washed here hands and they just cut it out of the video because it's about cooking and not washing your hands. It's pretty obvious that her mixing the meat and pushing the bowl away and wiping her hands are two entirely different takes
@@kevlon_ Since there is no cut in video, you should be punched in your face till you apologize for making things up.
@daAnder71 There is no cut to allow hand washing, hence you should thrown to wet maker as food.-
Love the simplicity!
I have tried and its to die for ...thank you
Asian food Best food in the World.
And talking like you have been enough outside if you think all Asian food is the same? lol
I doubt you ever tasted more than 2 Asian dishes before let alone hundred of dishes from countries like Japan, China, Korea or Thailand, oh well...
Grant Wilson Longer than me? Dude, i have been eating Asian food since what? My existence? Lol i'm Asian for christ sake xD i live in Sweden and i absolutely hate some of western food here. They tasted nothing more than salt lol but hey! people have their own taste and preference...
Za Sensha Chi-Ha Tan No Ēsu lol and mexican
linda akoto i love tacos 🤤
Za Sensha Chi-Ha Tan No Ēsu ya their good too bad I don't get to eat them a lot
I never heard this dish in China, it's made for the foreigner.
wow, you know all chinese dishes?
well I ate it in china
@@whattheflyingfuck... it is made for foreigners though... just like american pizza is made for americans as well; I don't need to know all the italian pizzas to know "supreme" and "meat lovers deluxe" does not exist in italy.
yeah, we're not too hip on Sesame Pooch.
I feel embarrassed that I have never heard of 5 spice and had to Google what it was, where its sold and optionally how to make it at home.
people talking about washing and or not washing the chicken but i dont see anything about her washing her hands after touching the chicken once she cut it. she just cleaned her hands what seems like on a towel underneath. not to mention she stuck her hand in the egg which still also from a chicken and well raw egg or raw chicken = Salmonella.
One year on and I'm happy to report that I now have a fully stocked kitchen thanks to Covid lockdown and a lot of free time on my hands.
you didn't toast the sesame seeds!!
When you realise she is dipping a grown up chicken into a chicken embryo ,Mmmm yummy
You need some wooden extended fingers so you don't have to get so close to the oil. If only the Chinese had invented something like that as well! ;)
They did, its called chopsticks. And you need a long one for that
@@drgRizky dude... It was sarcasm
Very good recipe and I love the way you explain it and cook 👩🍳 it gently. Great video 😊
This would be awesome as is but the addition of tinned pineapple and some sliced red capsicum would be even better, perhaps even broccoli would work well as a refreshing contrast to the sweetness.
It annoys me so much that she leaves honey and ketchup in the containers, why couldn’t she just use it all 😅 so wasteful
Omg thank you!! Was looking for someone commenting on this, she literally leaves about a spoon of ingredients left, but all I found was people complaining about people complain about how she didn't wash the chicken.
Oh good, I thought I was the only weirdo that this bothers!!!!
Right bro
No, she didn’t wash her hands after the chicken, that’s disturbing. What’s even more cringy is the way she scoops and pours all the other ingredients in. When she poured the sesame oil out, I screamed when she dumped it in the lid 😖
Pretty well established rule is to NOT wash chicken... at least over here in the UK anyway.
Or in any country that has any food standards.
Laurence oliver The United States Department of Agriculture advises against the practice of rinsing poultry or meat before cooking it.
Nice crusts of the chick cutlets without the need of batter.
I’ve tried it. Amazing dish 😊
Why are you in the kitchen and not a CEO of a Company ? ?
Is this a feminist comment or a legit question?

Abner Díaz wow lmaoooo
One egg would have been enough for that batter
Dre Dre So use one egg if you choose. It's always better to have a little more than needed than not enough, eggs are healthy.
Loving the sesame coated chicken
Sesame high five to her lovely show!
Thanks a lot for this recipe.
