Going to mention for people that are going to do this and haven't already, that instead of buying the gaskets all you have to do is disassemble the reed valves (which will be taken out anyway) and use the valve holder. This is explained in the instructions they send with the kit so it's okay if what I'm saying doesn't click automatically.
Well done. Thanks! Just finished installing mine today and this was helpful. Now to put the rest of the bike back together.
I really appreciate all the work you did on this model. It is a huge help.
I did a back yard version of this for much cheaper, i found some vacuum caps large enough to fit over the hose tubes on the head and plug them off, achieved my goal with it with was taking the popcorn sound out of the exhaust due to the other modifications like debaffled mufflers, pod filters with air box delete, and stage 4 jet kit in the carbs. I did not notice any power difference in the bike with deleting the PAIRS, just noticed that the popcorn sound was gone
I like the content man, keep it going!
awesome video! Was tired of having to uninstall/reinstall that thing anyway. Now it will go into my long term storage (garage trash can)
I do want to say, that if anyone is getting this kit, to make sure that you or the previous owner did not lose the dowels that connect the engine to the valve cover. I was missing one and from reading online a lot a exhaust pressure could end up in the valve cover and blow the seal out.
Yes!!! Thank you!!!! 👍
hey dude thanks for the video it is unfortunate that they don’t ship to Canada
Yoyoyo..... do you feel any power increase with this modification? I was thinking instead of capping off the tube from the PAIR system to the filter box, you could do a dry nitrous setup, SON! Don't be stealing my idea now. :)
