Inspiring video. I’m confident I can clean these carbs thanks to both your tutorials. Simple, straight forward and NOT BORING. great camera work as well.
FINALLY! The only person who properly shows how to remove and install this damn carburetor, and you loosened the cables instead of taking off the bracket, cause I stripped that bracket screw lol
Good images, but you left an important step out. You have to remove the air box boots from the air OC and the carb Intakes. Otherwise it’s hell to get the carbs out of the engine intake boots.
Thanks. Very useful video. I didn't enjoy having to keep hitting 'mute' though when the loudly mixed alt-metal started blaring through my studio monitors and sub-woofer. LOL.
I actually really appreciate finding this video! Someone I do service for has a shot carburetor Ninja 250 and I’ve been working on it for him(just started today, actually!). I needed to know how to take it out just right. Thanks, man!
Just pulled the carbs out of my 2007 Ninja 250 thanks to you! I am in California and we have some EVAP hoses that connect to carbs that you did not have.
Just seen the video of cleaning the carbs I just bought a 03 ninja ex250r and doesnt stay on with out the chole on and if you give it gas sounds like it's getting not enough gas tou saved me money because I'm going to clean the carbs first before trying to rebuild them thanks for your videos god bless
Nice video wish i would have known about the air box removal other then that i got my done somebody else in the comments said sure box but i muscled mine
Any suggestions for getting those rubber boots back attached to the airbox and carb?... I soaked the boots in next to hot water to make them more workable but I'm having a hell of a time getting them to go onto the carburetor once the boots are already attached to the air box. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Usually cleaning the carburetor is enough... Just follow my video you should be okay. If you have time and you can order on eBay the float bowl gaskets and the float needles that will be better... Thank you for watching my video and please subscribe... it will help me out 😊
if you are talking about the bottom of the fuel bowls they are drains...if you loosen up the screw next to them you could drain the carburetors ...or if they are flooding the fuel will start coming out from there...from factory there are hoses attach to these drains that just go to the bottom not connected to anything...just to drain the fuel down...NEVER plug these out because it will cause vacuum inside the carbs and cause issues...leave them alone or attach the hoses to them and route them down securing them with ZIP ties...up to you...most people don't have them on there... Thanks for watching and please subscribe to help me out

Is this the same procedure on the 250R in the Philippines

did the same thing but eventually got them on. over a year later my carb somehow is leaking and i'll have to tear it down again to see why.
Does this apply to a ZZR 250?
My manifolds were pretty hard on the carb, I couldn’t rlly bend and pull like you did to get the carb out, any tips to be able to slide it out easier.
boil them in hot water. makes them more pliable. what'd you end up doing since its been a year?
So if my bike been sitting up for a while will cleaning the carburetor turn it in or do I have to rebuild it?

Is Ballistol suitable for cleaning a carburetor? Will the residue cause any problems?
No need to waste perfectly good Ballistol on carbs. Just use carb cleaner.
What are the things on the bottom that look like hoses go to it?

@@DoityourselfMotorcyclerepairs awesome. Thank you. I have quite a bit I need to do today on the bike, and I'm still learning about them.
The gas tank needs to be empty, right? I should drain it first, through the petcock?
no, just turn to off and no need to drain the gas.
Can you make a video for 2011 ninja 250r plz lol
