Some farmers don’t let the cow see and like her baby calf. They separate the 2 as soon as the calf comes out of cows womb and she’s sent back to be a milking cow I strongly disagree with that method as it seems very cruel having that cow go a whole 9 months pregnant and not being able to c her baby at all. Cow should be given at least a minimum of 2 days with calf before shes taking back to the rest of the milking cows. How long do u let ur cows and calf’s bond as mother and calf before u separate and don’t see each other again unless it’s a heifer and young mother who could still be there when her calf becomes a milking cow too?
Poppy - great guns! 💪
Nice sharing ❤ Pakistan 🇵🇰 Yasmeen village ❤❤❤
The Lube is a good idea. Not sure if it was in common use when I last calved a cow in 1984. No cameras then either.

Do you give your cows a warm drink, like Tom Pemberton does, after calving??
We will if we think they need it but it’s not something we do as routine😊
