I remember being in the nosebleeds on this Sunday afternoon (Super Bowl Sunday) as a soon to be 11 y/o. I had a family who lived nearby and brought me because they knew I was the biggest Bulls fan anywhere. That was an awesome day!!!

Ron Harper is underrated! So was Finley. But that's how great this era was!

People talk about Harper's time with the Cavs and Bulls but forget that he was the 2000 Lakers starting PG.

Michael Finley played so well, KJ as well and quickly reminded how good this Suns squad was before it was broken up

@The Clown Can't say that was a bad trade by any means, what with the great talent Kidd was for many years too. That even if his time in Phoenix didn't exactly end well, nor did the team have a whole lot of success when they had him and all. The Suns obviously had to give up something in order to get a premier player such as him also.

He was a great defender too.

The Suns played a pretty competitive game that day, and gave the Bulls trouble that year. That especially since they did manage to beat Chicago when they met in Phoenix a month later, which was a shock to say the least. It's too bad that injuries, and what not once again reared their ugly head, considering the Suns had good talent, and were considered to be a title contender going into that season, but badly underachieved though.

Injuries again, along with getting rid of Dan Marjerle for the declining John "Hot Rod" Williams, which killed a good part of their offensive attack, that's what.

Barkley was also out of his prime here.

The injuries to Barkley, Johnson, Manning, and Hot Rod Williams were major factors. Plus, the firing of Paul Westphal in mid January, and the bad trade for Williams in exchange for Dan Marjerle.
It's surprising how this team still made the Playoffs despite the injuries and everything else.

Not really, since they just barely made the playoffs that year (despite high expectations going into the season) and bowed out quietly to the Spurs in the first round too.
