  • Welcome back to Rich With Cars, the channel where we take you on a journey through luxurious and high-performance automobiles. Today, we're taking a look at a true grand touring legend, the 2024 Aston Martin DB12. This stunning machine is the epitome of British luxury and automotive excellence.
    From the moment you lay eyes on the DB12, you're struck by its timeless elegance. The exterior design is a masterful blend of flowing lines, muscular curves, and classic Aston Martin cues. The new iconic grille, reshaped headlights, the sculpted front fascia, and the sweeping tail all contribute to the DB12's commanding presence.
    Step inside the DB12, and you're greeted by a completely redesigned interior. The cabin is crafted from the finest materials, including supple leather, satin carbon fiber, and intricate stitching. The attention to detail is simply breathtaking. The in-house fully redesigned infotainment system is intuitive and easy to use.
    But the real magic of the DB12 lies beneath its skin. Under the hood, you'll find a powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 671 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. This beast of an engine propels the DB12 from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, and it has a top speed of 202 mph.
    The 2024 Aston Martin DB12 is a true grand touring masterpiece. It combines breathtaking performance with unparalleled luxury and refinement, hence why Aston Martin has dubbed the DB12 as the world's first Super Tourer.

      Thanks👍 I was contemplating between in cabin view showing me driving, or POV. Decided to go with POV, because I haven't seen that many videos of the DB12 in POV perspective.

    Does it have interior ambient lighting along the door panels?
    Some photos and videos I think I see it but then others I can't see it.

      I believe there's ambient lighting in the door handles but not along the entire door panel. There's also ambient lighting throughout the interior of the car.

    I can't wait till I order one! I was fixed on grabbing a 911, which is dope. But this car has the 911 put its head down in admiration. 🥰😍🤩😘😋😛😜🤪😝🤑

      Yeah you should definitely give the DB12 a try. The new infotainment is miles above the previous gen and AM did a phenomenal job with the ergonomics. The other impressive aspect of the DB12 is its dual personality between sports car and GT. Really awesome vehicle.

    Hey Rich, can you give an objective comparison in regards to riding comfort when comparing to the Lexus LC500? Thank you!

    • @RichWithCars
      @RichWithCars  3 месяца назад +1

      I'll see what I can do - but definitely appreciate the feedback and will seriously look into it. Based on what I recall, the LC is much more compliant than the DB12/ They actually made the DB12 a little stiffer than its predecessor (DB11). Also keep in mind that they reconfigured their suspension, to be more adaptable but also more dynamic. The DB12 has more breadth in its suspension feel compared to the DB11 and the LC500. I'd say the LC is more geared towards the comfort side than the DB12. Nevertheless, I'll see if I can get a hold of another DB12 to do a comparo. Thanks for watching!

      It depends what you're looking for. But still, very expensive MSRP.

    They should’ve made the doorhandle electric from the inside. The earlier Maseratis had the same style and yes, the cables were always breaking. According to the owners I would think for 250 K they come up with a better way to open the door.

    • @RichWithCars
      @RichWithCars  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah, I agree somewhat, but that's still an improvement from their previous mechanism, despite it still being manual (not electric)....

    Green would be the last color I would select. Possibly a mat red or white.

      @@RichWithCars do you know the old Aston Sound? Come on.. I literally just came back last week and I got proof that even the Super Leggera and almost all DBs have outstanding sound.. this is a bit lame..
      Respectfully lol

    • @RichWithCars
      @RichWithCars  2 месяца назад +1

      @Cristopher492 yeah, I don't deny that the older ones sound better - they mostly had V12's (I reviewed the manual V12 DBS - see link below) and no emission standards to abide by. But given the new regulations they have to follow, it still sounds pretty good.
