Trying to figure out how to save a lot of time on my own nails. As a nail tech I don’t have much time for my nails 😔 I’ve never tried GelX… I only do acrylic… I’m pretty rough on my nails… How long would these last? My acrylics set are pretty durable despite how rough I am with my nails.
They can last up to 6 weeks with proper nail prep.
I agree with the nail prep they can last ! I too always did acrylics on my nails now I alternate between both and gel x is less time consuming 😅
Wondering if you can adhere nail tips with acrylic lol anyhow, I’ll try these and hope for the best. Thank you all!
@@Dama8D yes you can ! They last the same amount of time too 6 weeks depending on nail growth
She's said on her Tik Toks they can last up to 3-6 weeks. Those rougher with their nails might be more of 3 weeks

I just got gel x set yesterday and I noticed my nail didn’t drill any sculpted nails for putting my on my nails with gel. I hope my nails don’t pop off
how long do sets on both hands usually take you? because on myself I take like 7 hours no joke 😭😭

Do you cure once u add the primer? Love your videos..
the primer does not need to be cured I only cure the nails individually and then the whole hand for a min once all the tips are on. then of course after each coat of gel polish

No, there is no sticky layer. It’s a non-wipe topcoat 💖

Hey heyy, when you press the gelX nail onto the nail bed and your curing why doesn’t your gel under move? I do it the same way and when my thumb is on the nail while curing it doesn’t cure the gel and it moves giving me an air bubble. Sorry if that’s confusing but I do it the same exact way and I see it not happening to you but it happens to me.
Your curing lamp may not strong enough or work with you gel. Also you may not be using enough gel.
so maybe try adding a little more gel. are you using a lot of pressure when pressing the tip down because you shouldnt have to. I usually cure one side pretty quickly and the gel doesn't budge at all
