Cute then brush. You don’t want to topcoat the powder cause it’ll mess up the design and take away the texture

Did you add a top coat to seal the gel design?
No top coat for this type of design, it will essentially get rid of it if you do. So do top coat, gel design, then sprinkle clear acrylic powder over top and cure. The acrylic will cure with the gel design.
No! It’s meant to be texture. So if you add topcoat it will completely mess the design up because you won’t see it

No base coat before color?
Not needed! I hugged the nails before color so the rough base helps with not chipping
Do you do anything to make the tip stronger?
Apres Gel-x tips don’t need it - they are made to be applied without added reinforcement. If you’re using a different brand, something like builder/polygel/acrylic will help.
I do not. The tip itself is very durable!
