In answer to you parent question...I thought I would miss the single free life b4 I had my son , but I didn't have my son until my 30's for that reason....but I don't regret a thing I lived and had fun , I can't imagine my life without my son, and CAN'T even remember my life b4 him....REALLY???? See children make you a different person, a better version of yourself, because being a parent is really hard, sometimes you are tired, and they need you forever 🤣 and you have to ALWAYS be selfless ALL THE TIME in all you do and say......and if you can manage to do it to your best ability, ( no one is perfect) the payout is outstanding. One thing that really won me over as a parent was one day I was having a bad day, just lost my mom and I was feeling so low and my son was 5 years old sitting on the floor playing....I was sitting on my bed almost in tears, trying to hide my hurt, I didn't even think he noticed my son climb on the bed hugged my neck I said mom it's going to be ok, here's your pepsi , I love pepsi.... he gave me a kiss and said I love u mom and jumped down and finished playing with his Spiderman toys he never left my room until I collected myself ....he rebooted my spirit @ 5...man that was PRICELESS that moment was AMAZING because I was in a bad place and just his selfless love he learned from me made all the difference in the world and it made me push through because he breathed life back into me.....then another blessing is when you see yourself in a whole little being, it's such a beautiful thing. ......but being a parent is hard , they have their own personalities and they will try you...lord Jesus 🤣, sometimes they are sick or get hurt and you feel hopeless but your love and strength will get you through those moments. Being a parent gives you SELFLESS PURPOSE and you should give it YOUR BEST because some ppl wish they could have children and can't...My son is 19 and we have had our shares of ups and downs 😳🤪but I wouldn't trade it for the world...because the love pay back children give you is AMAZING !!!!!.and plus Dom seems to be a very good and grounded young man so having children with him can only be easy...and Naka as their mom with her sweet and free spirit you guys would do great!!!!!!!!! Children MUST have guidance and structure !!!!!! and above all UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!!!!....Lil crumb snatchers...did I mention you can never have anything to yourself EVER AGAIN IN LIFE 🤣🤣🤣....he helped me drink my pepsi that day, when he thought I wasn't looking 🤔😁...he was so darn cute I gave him a pass, but boy did I regret that the sugar had him on 9000 for the rest of the night🥺 🥴

I legit had tears reading this (Naka) you’re son is sucha sweetheart ❤️& he reminded me of my baby brother when he was younger 💕 I love how innocent kids are when their young, I remember my youngest brother(that I basically raised cause he always wanted to be around me) who is 13 years younger than me was about 4-5 would always cheer me up when I was extremely sad & I always tell him he helped me get out of a dark hole because of how sweet and innocent he was, he didn’t know it but just him coming to hug me when I was crying or waking up & coming into my room cause he heard me crying in the middle of the night and telling me everything will be ok made me feel like it would be & me venting to him & him giving me 4 year old advice on life that made a lot of sense tbh 😂😂 awe thank you so much for ur story I’m honestly wiping away tears because I know exactly how you felt (but from a sister perspective❤️❤️) I hope you and your son’s bond stays strong ❤️ and you sound like an amazing mom thank you for never giving up & pushing through ur an amazing mom & he’s lucky to have you as his mom❤️

My husband and I have 2 children. Before you have children: •Get all the sleep you can, lol. • If you haven't already; try to finish your studies/degrees, it's something to fall back on to. It will be harder to get time to study with young children. • Try to get your finances together, or best you can, it will never feel perfect but try now. •Have a set confortable home within reach of family and good friends. •If you haven't already; get your driving licence and a vehicle/vehicles. It's more convenient for travelling with children. •Most of all please know everything you do will have to be around their timing, not yours. So it's not so much that your lives will change but it will be different and you both can make it a bit easier if you are prepared. I'm a new subscriber now!

My husband and I have been together for ten years, married for almost 7 years. We have two daughters together. I wouldn't say we miss life before our girls because we were kind of just a couple that just love to stay home and be together, so now we have kids we try to balance our time between ourselves and our kids. We have at home date night or movie nights and family game time.
Naka when you have children too young say in your teens maybe to 22 yes you might miss your life before kids but you guys are over that and you’ve afforded yourself a wealth of experiences that I feel kids will just be a cherry on top which will bond you even more if that’s even possible for you both since your love is so solid already. I think Don’s parents are a great example of having kids and keeping it fun and real (of course we’re on the outside looking in). I had my kids in college so I definitely missed a lot of experiences but now we’re 41 and can pretty much do whatever whenever because our kids are in college and we’re young enough (and financially capable) to enjoy it. 🤷🏾♀️
I love this! Now that you have practically grown together and understand each other. It's time for real enjoyment without having to worry about 5,6 and 7 yr olds.
Everything changes when children gets involved in a relationship. You don't have as much free time as you used to before them. Not that its bad but it leaves you with more responsibilities than you're used too which means you guys will have to create time for eachother and for the kids and other things. Just as each of you has changed individually, when you were single compared to now being committed to each other, a lot has changed btw you too that's how its going to be when you add to your family.
My daughter turned 4... And honestly I can't remember having a life before she came in my life, I started living when I first held her in my arms. Am stronger and wiser for her, I work on myself everyday to be better so that she can be proud of me. It's not easy to be a parent but it's fun and frustrating at the same time. Can't imagine my life without her. To some point am like "where were you my whole life?". She is my sweet beautiful trouble-maker. Can't regret being a parent
You don’t have to miss the moments. I think it’s important that y’all build in time for just the two of you as much you have the family time. Balance. Because y’all will be the foundation. So it’s important that it stays strong between the two of you.

To Naka, I can't imagine my life without my kids. Sometimes my husband and I just sit and talk about why we didn't have kids sooner. They take your relationship to the next level too. We do alot of sneaking off for our alone time and still regret not taking them with us🤣
I will have been married for 23 years in May. Marriage is hard and rewarding. You will never get this time back. This time before you become parents. I don’t regret becoming a parent. In many ways being a parent and truly loving our kids unconditionally is the best thing in life. it also takes a lot of time and energy. I miss when we had time for each other. The best thing you can do for your kids is to invest in your relationship, put time and energy into it. Your children will be healthier and happier and will grow up in a loving home where they see there parents happy with each other. I regret not investing more in my marriage, once we had kids parenting became our priority, and over the years, you begin to understand how you sacrificed in ways that are difficult to repair. One day, the kids will grow up and leave and if you haven’t put the time and energy into your relationship, then what? Dom is emotionally intelligent; I like what he said about being aware of his emotions and communicating what he’s feeling. This could save a lot of marriages.

I really feel that you can have those moments with kids. I have 3 and have been married for 22 years. Been together since I was 16 and started a family at 19. As long as the core values like love, respect, understanding, and most of all laughter you will continue to find moments when you least expect it. Its actually exciting because you have to get creative to create moments. It's been a beautiful journey for us so far I am now 39 our last 2 are heading to college and we get to start dating all over again. Its fun, thats the benefit of having kids young you get to enjoy them and still get to relive your dating years. 🙏❤

To answer your question about "missing the life you had before having kids"...YES, YES, & YES you will at times. I am a single mother of 3 young teens under 15 and I LOVE my kids dearly. But single or not life gets really challenging at times with a kid(s) plus you have to consider your mental state of mind the older they get. One if not all (depending on how many you have) will have between the two of you or 1 of your relatives *Attitude (good or bad); *Sense of humor (good or bad); *Sense of common sense (good or bad); *Sense of common decency (good or bad) *Sense of curtiscy and so on and so forth. There's a lot of things to really think DEEP about before having kids because no matter hard you try so good to raise them up right, there's a possibility that they might not turn out like you pray and hope for. (Just something to think more about) If you guys decide to have a child, try and wait 12-13yrs later after the 1st to see for sure if want more. Best wishes to you both🙏

When you have kids, you feel like you've been missing out without them. So for me it's the other way around
I definitely wished I had kids sooner than I had. The dancing, painting, swimming, the pranks it's a constant circus. Then when you add the pets 🤣

I think Don’s parents are a great example of having kids and keeping it fun and real (of course we’re on the outside looking in). I had my kids in college so I definitely missed a lot of experiences but now we’re 41 and can pretty much do whatever whenever because our kids are in college and we’re young enough (and financially capable) to enjoy it. 🤷🏾♀️

Everything changes when children gets involved in a relationship. You don't have as much free time as you used to before them. Not that its bad but it leaves you with more responsibilities than you're used too which means you guys will have to create time for eachother and for the kids and other things. Just as each of you has changed individually, when you were single compared to now being committed to each other, a lot has changed btw you too that's how its going to be when you add to your family.
My daughter turned 4... And honestly I can't remember having a life before she came in my life, I started living when I first held her in my arms.
Am stronger and wiser for her, I work on myself everyday to be better so that she can be proud of me. It's not easy to be a parent but it's fun and frustrating at the same time. Can't imagine my life without her. To some point am like "where were you my whole life?". She is my sweet beautiful trouble-maker. Can't regret being a parent

To Naka, I can't imagine my life without my kids. Sometimes my husband and I just sit and talk about why we didn't have kids sooner. They take your relationship to the next level too. We do alot of sneaking off for our alone time and still regret not taking them with us🤣
I will have been married for 23 years in May. Marriage is hard and rewarding. You will never get this time back. This time before you become parents. I don’t regret becoming a parent. In many ways being a parent and truly loving our kids unconditionally is the best thing in life. it also takes a lot of time and energy. I miss when we had time for each other. The best thing you can do for your kids is to invest in your relationship, put time and energy into it. Your children will be healthier and happier and will grow up in a loving home where they see there parents happy with each other. I regret not investing more in my marriage, once we had kids parenting became our priority, and over the years, you begin to understand how you sacrificed in ways that are difficult to repair. One day, the kids will grow up and leave and if you haven’t put the time and energy into your relationship, then what? Dom is emotionally intelligent; I like what he said about being aware of his emotions and communicating what he’s feeling. This could save a lot of marriages.

I really feel that you can have those moments with kids. I have 3 and have been married for 22 years. Been together since I was 16 and started a family at 19. As long as the core values like love, respect, understanding, and most of all laughter you will continue to find moments when you least expect it. Its actually exciting because you have to get creative to create moments. It's been a beautiful journey for us so far I am now 39 our last 2 are heading to college and we get to start dating all over again. Its fun, thats the benefit of having kids young you get to enjoy them and still get to relive your dating years. 🙏❤

Hi guys! I really enjoy watching your channel because you're growing together in a cute, loving and nerdy way and it's inspiring in many ways. To answer your question about "missing the life you had before having kids"...YES, YES, & YES you will at times. I am a single mother of 3 young teens under 15 and I LOVE my kids dearly. But single or not life gets really challenging at times with a kid(s) plus you have to consider your mental state of mind the older they get. One if not all (depending on how many you have) will have between the two of you or 1 of your relatives *Attitude (good or bad); *Sense of humor (good or bad); *Sense of common sense (good or bad); *Sense of common decency (good or bad) *Sense of curtiscy and so on and so forth. There's a lot of things to really think DEEP about before having kids because no matter hard you try so good to raise them up right, there's a possibility that they might not turn out like you pray and hope for. (Just something to think more about) If you guys decide to have a child, try and wait 12-13yrs later after the 1st to see for sure if want more. Best wishes to you both🙏

When yu have kids a few changes will
happen in your life. All yu need do is to incorporate your kids in some of your activities and enjoy as a family. And if you want time to yourselves- that cld also be planned. -grandparents cld babysit for you or whatever plan suits you. It’s awesome and fulfilling to have a family if you choose to.
