@Gernot Hassknecht It does not tell us that at all, they produce/write/compose a lot of their own songs, this just happens not to be one of them. That's still fully irrelevant to being able to appreciate their music (or BTS) and the producers (both BTS/in-house and external like this case) that can be involved in making it. So no, you don't learn that "they don't write, or produce, or mix, their own songs" here at all, it's one anecdotal case which you can't extrapolate that from, and even if you did would be irrelevant.
@Gernot Hassknecht I commented on the rest of your statement, wasn't concerned with answering your rhetorical-sounding "why" which you followed up with an answer to "why not" anyway, plus I'm not OP so I don't see why I would've answered the reasons they liked BTS's music before this made them like it more, so no dodging on my part there. OP said this made them appreciate BTS's *music* even more i.e by seeing the meticulous work and attention to detail Swivel put into it (who BigHit/BTS chose to work with probably for the same reasons). Your comment shifted the focus on reasons on why not to like BTS *themselves* which is irrelevant, although it would still have been inaccurate if it were about their music. But yeah, nothing against you, I only replied because it sounded uninformed and unnecessarily snappy/reductive, which people often go for to try and dismiss BTS's work and its authenticity. Yes, you do learn that DJ Swivel produced this song, although you can check the production & writing credits which also lists BTS and others, however minor their contributions might have been for this one. Still don't know how that would prevent one from liking their music more.
@Gernot Hassknecht lol, guess I like "writing too much". I just end up ranting without realizing, and mostly enjoy it anyway. :v Sorry if it's too long, feel free to skip lol. Not sure what I would be making worse? It's all chill to me. Not really trying to convince anyone of anything, I guess just exercising my comment section rights? Hahah. BTS don't really care to claim a genre, they just make & perform stuff they like, doesn't matter whatever you wanna call it. Not sure what you mean by I'll realize the credits are justified, I know they are, not doubting them. Pretty sure "....uhm, why...? All you learn here is that they don't write, or produce, or mix, their own songs. How does that make one like them more" as a reply to someone saying they love their music is at least you implying you think there's no reason to like it lol, but ook, guess I'm the one making logically flawed statements. I also love what Swivel does, not sure how your first comment was you wanting to give Swivel love since you didn't even mention him but ok. And ye, my comment was similarly me wanting people to give BTS some love (actually more like not to hate lol). What they make is great and I was happy to see Swivel also sees that in them. I remember watching this video when it was first streamed, still come back to it sometimes because I love watching Swivel breaking it down. I don't think that about authenticity and artists myself. Bro it was literally implied in your comment "How does that make one like them more" as if the lack of them producing this song takes away from reasons to appreciate it/them... but yeah I'm personally never hung up on the whole authenticity argument in pop music or otherwise, since it is "ambiguous". I just listen to what sounds good to me regardless of that or of genre etc.
@Gernot Hassknecht What BTS make also happens not to be one genre, but the one constant I guess is that it's majoritarily in Korean so it tends to be lazily grouped under the "Kpop" umbrella term in the western industry and audiences. It doesn't really make sense when it comes to the music itself, but the term more accurately describes the whole "performance + choreography + visual aspect" package which is more characteristic of the Korean pop industry and practiced by the Korean labels/agencies, and can be effective if done well and not abused. Still, there are hundreds of "Kpop" groups which do that but don't end up succeeding as much, so that's not the reason why BTS is as big as they are. IMO they have an edge for many reasons, among which their overall involvement in the creation and delivery of their work, and the message/story-telling aspect. Both in lyrics, performance and visually through intricate music-videos; not shying away from addressing heavier topics. Often referencing literature (like the 1919 book "Demian" by Hermann Hesse in their Wings era) and pulling from Jungian psychology in their current Map of the Soul album series. They were initially shunned by the Kpop industry because of not being your regular kpop group but especially because of being from a smaller company (which is now huge years later thanks to them), but they were able to break through after first making history by being the first group from a small company to win big awards in the asian music awards. Anywho I rant lol... I think it's pretty obvious by now how much I love what they do 😂 and people like DJ Swivel who choose to work with them as well, so I could go on even more but it's getting a bit much for just a comment again lmao.
Jungkook’s vocals even without backtrack or instrumental backing to it is already so beautiful and heveanly, wow I am in awed. And props to DJ Swivel for breaking out the production of Euphoria. It is indeed a beautiful song with good production and the best vocals to it. Tbh, if it was released as a single or a title track and not just a B-side, Euphoria would be out there breaking records after records. It is even already a record breaking song for being a B-side track, how much more when it was a single. Such amazing piece. I hope our Jungkook would be able to learn some producing techniques from DJ Swivel too, would be nice 😊
Righttt!!! I know euphoria isn’t sung by all bts members, but it’s my favorite bts songs. It just speaks to me differently from the rest of their beautiful songs.
I don't know anything about producing music, but hearing all the little bits and pieces of this song and how they all came together was an astonishing experience. Euphoria is one of my all time favorite songs because you can so perfectly feel that emotion in the music, and still hearing that feeling in all the little bits that come together was just. Wow.

Same! 😂💜 So proud of these 7 amazingly talented dorks. I think it was RM who said they start with a good melody and then build the lyrics around it. Regardless of the original written English lyrics, they were able to take that melody from the demo & pretty much rewrote the whole song with Korean lyrics (our lyrical geniuses) and that's why he likes it better. 😁👍🎶 Teamwork definitely makes the dream work.
The same thing happened with Charli XCX on Dream Glow 😂 While fans have come to appreciate the song’s uplifting message about self-empowerment, Charli XCX revealed that at first, the song wasn’t about dreams at all. In fact, the pop singer created the song a few years ago as a potential track for one of her albums. Back then, “Dream Glow” was just called “Glow” and it was actually about falling in love. In a Twitter post, she explained, “The song was originally about falling in love with someone in the club coz they had that ‘glow’ about them.” Charli XCX added that when she met BTS, they talked about collaborating together one day, so when an opportunity finally opened up, she sent the song to BTS. The group liked the song, but decided to change the lyrics to reflect the message they wanted to share with fans. She said, “I don’t usually write songs like that so it was cool for me to be involved with this new kind of emotion.” mobile.twitter.com/charli_xcx/status/1137134125343682562?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1137134125343682562%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fcelebmix.com%2Fcharli-xcx-shares-how-she-collaborated-with-bts-for-dream-glow%2F

@@georgewayne2203 [ *m e e p m e e p* ] wrong use of the word koreaboo What we are talking about is only the relation you get from being a fan of artists that stays close to their fans and emanates nothing but their love for music, honesty and advices They said themselves ARMYS are all united, a fandom is basically a community that loves the same thing, but up to to certain point it is appropriate to call it a family The thing is that a normal minded army, how it is supposed to be, doesn't see the members as romantic ideals, fantasies, love interests or whatever. THIS is how a koreaboo sees them. ARMYs, on the other side, don't feel this kind of way for them. They see them as hard-working artists, mentors, inspirations. Some can only see them as any other artist they listen to. And finally, there are the ones that can allow themselves to consider BTS like brothers. These are the ones that has been following their progresses, saw each album release, saw every member's growth, voice changes, concepts changing (and having the surprise of seeing them being usually hiphop and slowly transitioning to pop and EDM through years), suffered through the struggles of BTS being constantly criticized by Korean society, medias and other kpop fans (that had been attached like loyal dogs to old gen artists, being harsh to new gen artists) Their music and their lyrics helped them through hard times, lots of things they had said made ARMYs get other views on the world they've been living in, on themselves. To talk about recent messages, the Love Yourself one may sound cliché. Done and overdone by many artists. But the way some people talk about it make it more believable. Not sugar-coated, not superficial, neither a background of the songs or a side campaign merely talked about. When they talk about it they put all of their conviction in it, they speak with the thought of placing their audience on the first spot, like "yea this is about you. if you wanna achieve your goals, resolve your problems, and care about others and all, first, think about you. Accept who you are, don't build a fake image like you create avatars in games. Take some confidence and dare to say out loud "I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, people laugh at me and criticize me, but this is fine, as still as I know what I am capable of and that their advices won't change me, I love myself, and I know what I want to become in the future" BTS are part of these people. And only brothers, people that really cares about humanity, about their flesh and bones, soul and heart, brothers can give you such advices.

BTS does not often use autotune in their vocals (sometimes they do) because they are able to adapt to the flow and registers of the track whether it be high or low. They try to match their vocals with the song and almost most of the time insert their own input, like come out with their own tune or melody. Jungkook's vocal is so strong but also emotional at the same time😭😭 His voice and vocal is amazing
@@eternal_seokjin7441 well i agree. 😢
yeah the emotions were some of the most important part of the song and it's why rm made him do the demo so many times and why jungkook so brilliantly delivered I love how we got both rm's behind and dj swivel's behind and Jk's raw vocals so we could really see how much work went into making such a beautiful song TT

This just made me appreciate BTS's music even more...
I already love their music so much this made me love it even more
@Gernot Hassknecht It does not tell us that at all, they produce/write/compose a lot of their own songs, this just happens not to be one of them.
Sorry if it's too long, feel free to skip lol.
@Gernot Hassknecht
What BTS make also happens not to be one genre, but the one constant I guess is that it's majoritarily in Korean so it tends to be lazily grouped under the "Kpop" umbrella term in the western industry and audiences.
I just wanted to learn their names and six months later I'm sitting here starring at a shuffle board and deconstructing JK's song.

So proud of these 7 amazingly talented dorks. I think it was RM who said they start with a good melody and then build the lyrics around it. Regardless of the original written English lyrics, they were able to take that melody from the demo & pretty much rewrote the whole song with Korean lyrics (our lyrical geniuses) and that's why he likes it better. 😁👍🎶 Teamwork definitely makes the dream work.
made me laugh! hahaha
The same thing happened with Charli XCX on Dream Glow 😂
While fans have come to appreciate the song’s uplifting message about self-empowerment, Charli XCX revealed that at first, the song wasn’t about dreams at all. In fact, the pop singer created the song a few years ago as a potential track for one of her albums. Back then, “Dream Glow” was just called “Glow” and it was actually about falling in love.
In a Twitter post, she explained, “The song was originally about falling in love with someone in the club coz they had that ‘glow’ about them.”
Charli XCX added that when she met BTS, they talked about collaborating together one day, so when an opportunity finally opened up, she sent the song to BTS. The group liked the song, but decided to change the lyrics to reflect the message they wanted to share with fans. She said, “I don’t usually write songs like that so it was cool for me to be involved with this new kind of emotion.”

What we are talking about is only the relation you get from being a fan of artists that stays close to their fans and emanates nothing but their love for music, honesty and advices
They said themselves ARMYS are all united, a fandom is basically a community that loves the same thing, but up to to certain point it is appropriate to call it a family
The thing is that a normal minded army, how it is supposed to be, doesn't see the members as romantic ideals, fantasies, love interests or whatever. These are the ones that has been following their progresses, saw each album release, saw every member's growth, voice changes, concepts changing (and having the surprise of seeing them being usually hiphop and slowly transitioning to pop and EDM through years), suffered through the struggles of BTS being constantly criticized by Korean society, medias and other kpop fans (that had been attached like loyal dogs to old gen artists, being harsh to new gen artists)
Their music and their lyrics helped them through hard times, lots of things they had said made ARMYs get other views on the world they've been living in, on themselves. Take some confidence and dare to say out loud "I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, people laugh at me and criticize me, but this is fine, as still as I know what I am capable of and that their advices won't change me, I love myself, and I know what I want to become in the future"
BTS are part of these people.
And only brothers, people that really cares about humanity, about their flesh and bones, soul and heart, brothers can give you such advices.
I don't understand anything in producing or making music but just the fact that they're talking about my kookie's song is enough for me to click watch right away 😊😊😊💜 and it also makes me more proud of BTS and appreciate how hard work it is to make music that's so beautiful 💜💜💜💜🙈

BTS does not often use autotune in their vocals (sometimes they do) because they are able to adapt to the flow and registers of the track whether it be high or low.
They try to match their vocals with the song and almost most of the time insert their own input, like come out with their own tune or melody. Also Jungkook usually have a very stable vocal so it comes as no surprise that he's able to execute this track perfectly.
Thank you for making this song! Much appreciation to Dj Swivel and his partner!
Are you kidding me
Whole songs are auto toned except for Jungkook part
@@yusrawaleed9772 Not being rude but can u explain?
@@yusrawaleed9772 that's sort of rude. Since I highly doubt you work at Bighit , could you explain your reason for thinking every song is auto tune except for Jungkook part?
@@heynanana0613 explain? Well their certain kind of voices that fits to auto tones, Jungkook voice doesn't fit bit
Jimmy voice is best for use of auto tones and you could do alot with the use of it
See dreamglow, that song is heavily auto toned & voice layered.
@@yusrawaleed9772 I agree dream glow was heavily autotuned
Damn I was wishing it not to have had the autotune tbh
OH THE FREAKING GOOSEBUMPS I GOT WHEN JUNGKOOK'S VOCAL STARTED
Mannn this producer need more recognition 🔥🔥👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
He already has a lot of recognition. He's part of the Hall of Fame n i think a grammy winner??

Jungkook is a perfect Idol. He can sing, dance, rap... He did very well. JKs proud of him.
Hoàng Kỷ he’s a real artist
He’s truly a natural talent
And his drawing is sooo goood, in physics too
I don't know nothing about music technically speaking and even less about producing and even when I only understood like 20% this was super enlightening. Thank you
