Love this. Been looking for the one that suits my need. I am still torn between vintage sand and polyphonic. Love vintage sand more but i already have dual crash, and the characters were a bit similar imo
Both are very washy. If it’s any help, I pretty much use the polyphonic mainly as a crash. I only use it as a ride for very light playing. The vintage sand crash ride is also pretty washy but I find I can actually use it as a ride without it being completely overwhelming, especially if I apply some tape to the bottom for light dampening.
This video is gold. It helps a lot to which cymbal choose.

Hi, thanks for the great video. Do you also have one of the foundry reserves? If so, not in top 5? Thanks
Unfortunately I’ve never owned one. But I would love to get the foundry reserve 24” light ride.
And if you had to pick only one? ;)
1. Vintage Sand Crash Ride
2. Big Apple Dark Ride
Hi mr. Cuoco!
