- One of the best air drummers to ever do it. 5-year-old Caleb Hayes going crazy at a Slipknot show. He’s 7 now, made an appearance on The Ellen Show, been featured in SPIN's 'The Kids Are Alright' series, and has since upgraded to the full kit.

The fact a kid his age can be more on beat than most of the adults out here is insane
I bet this kid learning to play if not he should especially at that age since it's easier because kids brains age sponges at that age

@@rayneforrest7582 I was moreso just talking about people outside of this event. I’m sure even with drinks in them they’re still rocking as close to the beat as they can. But I completely agree, after a few it becomes more difficult to stay on beat 😂

Man…. First the kid crowd surfing his dad at a slip concert now the best air drummer at another concert.. I didn’t know what that felt like until I was 22 and it made a huge impact on my life… how awesome must this kid feel to know that feeling at such a young age. These are the lives and moments we need to live in order to feel fulfilled and complete at the age of 40 knowing you lived all that you could with no regrets. Some ppl will never know.
I grew up going to hometown shows for slipknot. I fell in love with them at like 11 years old. First concert at 13. Still my favorite band to see like 25 years later

That’s awesome.. my younger brother had his first kid at 15 years old so he didn’t get to do the things that teens are supposed to do so he was forced to skip the good times and become a man by 16, while he actually kept making more babies every other year. I showed him his first party EVER when he was like 22 which was a pool party at a new house out of state and we invited the whole block
“no parents”.. he said it was the best day of his life! Ever since…, he’s been throwing parties and always making new friends.. today he has 8 kids and takes them to concerts.. he’s also teaching his kids to play instruments and become a band like we once did.

Other buddies had to tell him “No, that’s how you play the song”. Not as believable coming from the air drummer himself lol

As someone who plays the drums, I can tell you that wasn't just air-drums. There is a difference between air drumming to a song and air drumming the actual motions of how you play a song. This kid is playing the song as if the the hi-hats, snare, crash, as if the whole kit is right in front of him and he is NAILING IT! Most people can only play the air drums to In The Air Tonight.
I hope you looked him up after seeing this because apparently Caleb H is 9 (as of 2024) and KILLIN IT!

Hes 9 now... His name is Caleb H Drummer... He's definitely a drumming prodigy... He's friends with everyone from Slipknot and several other bands... I've been watching him since he was about 5 and hes grown leaps and bounds in those 4 years... I cant wait to see him in 20 years
