Thanks for vid. Worked well. Hardest part was getting there. Anyone attempting this i would say add having a sideways/bent/angled Phillips and possibly a set of needle nose pliers for the glove box pins as one wouldn't cooperate (used bent ones there too). Mine was done under warranty a couple times, so i wonder if i should have used Vaseline on the glove box pins. I used one of them small wratcheting phillips head for removal of part but there's room for a stubby. Easy peasy. Should it be a recall tho?
my ac works but not the heater . i have a 2.0L 2011 sonata . what should i do? my car also has B1245 code and B1204 code! help me Chad Mizner please
Just got a 2012 from my father in law. Nothing will blow out of the vents. Replaced the fuse under the steering wheel. I can hear the blower motor trying to work when I turn the defroster on, but just barely. Would it be worth it to do this first before replacing the blower motor?
Well I just saw this is for a Sonata, I have a Santa Fe.
@@barbaraferguson6967 might be the same issue, don't know, worth a try, not sure if returnable part or not, but could go buy one at Autozone, try it, then take it back if doesn't fix it. no idea how hard to replace on the Santa Fe...
Why are there 2 different part numbers?
My ac works but only if you put it on number 4 but the heater won’t work what should I do
How do you know if that's the part that's out? Couldnt it be a fuse or relay? Or the motor for the fan? Thanks for any help
it's somewhat process of elimination, check other stuff first, pretty sure this is considered the relay, would definitely check fuse first.
@@cwmizner evidently theres 2 fuses for it and a separate blower relay, appears either that plug is bad or the motor is bad.

Having issues with air not blowing as strong. Was this your issue when you replaced ?
@@whitten882 ended up selling it. It was the fan motor went bad tho
My girlfriend has a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and her air or heat not coming on at all. Saying complete nothing but after awhile of driving you will eventually feel it come on. And by its being cold now we really need the heat plus it’s hard to defrost the windows. So is this what you would suggest?????
