I have had three intense attacks of vertigo since July and between the attacks I feel very off-balance. I finally got in to see an ENT who told me he suspects I have Ménière’s disease although my hearing is perfect so he cannot give me an official diagnosis. I am so frustrated and scared for my health and future, I don’t know what to do because things like the Epley maneuver do not help me. Is it possible to have Ménière’s disease without hearing loss? I do have tinnitus but not actual permanent hearing loss. The doctor basically told me ménière’s disease does not have all the answers to the many questions out there because they don’t know enough about it and even if I don’t have hearing loss there is a chance that I still have it. Do you have any advice or thoughts on this? I am going to try and get a second opinion next month.

I had lots of scary symptoms like brain fog ... now things started to improve but very slow... he said it might take 4 weeks for recovery... this what I'm doing

Similar to vestibular migraine but daily vs episodic or chronic based on my understanding...that is how you would differentiate between them and settle on a diagnosis...a doctor should do this but few are versed let alone well versed in these ailments.

Has a doctor determined the root cause of your vertigo? Try not to be anxious b/c that will make it harder on you. Try some calming breathing and positive thinking...not doing so can lead to being in a hyper-anxious state, like having the gas pedal stuck in your car..causing it to be out of control.
