- Walking with head turns, VOx1, and VOR Cancellation are three of the best exercises for vestibular habituation and adaptation!
Never perform physical therapy or vestibular exercises without the advice of your doctor and/or healthcare team. This is not medical advice.
Thank you so much for your help you are a angel those exercises helped me to recover fast from my vestibular neuritis
Are you still OK please.
Awesome exercises! Definitely helped My client w Vertigo Thank You 😀
I can’t actually walk straight without wobbling and probably crossing my legs over each other it’s really annoying, and when I look left or right while walking I just wobble over.
Quick question - have you ever worked with some with Lance Adams Syndrome? Thank you! Brian
My healthcare team told me there's no physical therapy for my chronic vestibular neuritis, I went to the most expensive neurologist possible 😒
This is not true! There are ALWAYS options!!
@@thevertigodoctor Thank you for sharing these, may ask how many times per day should we practice this/for what length of time? Thanks again
@@jessemaxi I cannot give you that kind of information as you're not my patient or client. 'Expensive' Does not always equal the 'best'. Try a vestibular therapist :)
@@jessemaxi please look into the medical medium. You can heal.
literally theyll just make u do this shit. there is nothing else. they make u get dizzy til u overcome it, it's a horrible way to live. try nortriptyline Rx it helps vestibular issues. also motion sickness glasses or glasses with round lenses with frames

I have had three intense attacks of vertigo since July and between the attacks I feel very off-balance. I finally got in to see an ENT who told me he suspects I have Ménière’s disease although my hearing is perfect so he cannot give me an official diagnosis. I am so frustrated and scared for my health and future, I don’t know what to do because things like the Epley maneuver do not help me. Is it possible to have Ménière’s disease without hearing loss? I do have tinnitus but not actual permanent hearing loss. The doctor basically told me ménière’s disease does not have all the answers to the many questions out there because they don’t know enough about it and even if I don’t have hearing loss there is a chance that I still have it. Do you have any advice or thoughts on this? I am going to try and get a second opinion next month.
I feel your frustration... been there and I didnt know what it was very scary... it was big relief when I saw the ent and the physiotherapist... now I am doing the excercises given by the physiotherapist and on medication for one month now for dizziness called betaserc... wish you luck .. you will be fine it just takes time
Actually I saw 2 ent as the first one didn't help much and said nothing wrong in your ears but the second referred me to physiotherapist who did the excercises for diagnosis.. he said it's a vestibular imbalance causing all this .. I had lots of scary symptoms like brain fog ... now things started to improve but very slow... he said it might take 4 weeks for recovery... this what I'm doing
cawthorne-cooksey exercises... Good luck
@@Sh.aqrabawi1 thank you so much, i am going to ask my ENT about the things you mentioned here. i also have brain fog when i am normally very sharp. i feel like i had a stroke or am getting dementia, it's HORRIBLE
@@Sh.aqrabawi1How are you now?
I have vestibular neuritis and I don't know how long it will take to recover. Thank you:)
@ghostrideryea5091 hi, I am much better, Alhamdullilah... excercises helped a lot. what is your treatment plan? Hope you recover soon.
I have Ménière’s disease. When I get a vertigo attack I can’t even stand. These exercises are impossible. ☹️
these exerciess are definitely NOT for when you're having a meniere's attack!
@@thevertigodoctor Any advice for a Ménière’s attack? I couldn’t find any searching your videos.
this is worst vertigo I ever feel
when i was going to sleep it turns like Im in worlds biggest roller coaster😫😫
@@Anirudh_Vishwakarma I switched my diet to a carnivore diet and it has helped a lot, besides feeling 100% better overall. I still get them but not as much or as severe. It’s worth a try for 30 days and see if it helps. It certainly can’t hurt.
@@chrisbr1969 Okk thanks for sharing this is there any excersize for this or should i go to ENT specialist cause I,m always off balance like whole room is moving
This may sound silly… I *may* have had a MTBI in April 2023. I think, from a physiotherapist, I have a lapse in my vestibular system. I notice I feel disoriented and slightly off balance when I move my neck. This isn’t forever right? I will get better?
Bende Vertigo var yapmış olduğunuz bu hareketler vertigoma iyi gelir mi?
How long do you do each one of these?
How can we do those exercises if for example im in a wheelchair. I have MS but im in a wheelchair because of vertigo and my muscles and core have weakened. I need intensive rehab.
What are symptoms of pppd
May be i have this
But I am soo confused
Similar to vestibular migraine but daily vs episodic or chronic based on my understanding...that is how you would differentiate between them and settle on a diagnosis...a doctor should do this but few are versed let alone well versed in these ailments.
I had vertigo a few days ago but I was just getting over what I think was pppd, and I felt more or less normal for about 2 months (before this latest bppv vertigo episode). The thing that helped me immensely was vestibular exercises. I hope doing them again yields just as good as results as before.
Any excercises for Head Tremors please..
How long do you do each exercise ?
Hey , I did this exercise for 3 months consistently , after that I just do it in need (every time my balance get bad) .. i will finish my second year now since I got this illness and everything is good .. hope you get better soon
@@kanna8165 How long did it take for you to see the results ? How many times in a day did you do it ?
@@philippians1213 I did it 3 times in a day .. I can’t remember exactly when I saw the first result comes but I think like month and a half .. you have to also walk every day for at least an hour
Could this help with a fear of heights. Because of vertigo.
My neck is hurting and I can't move it or shake it 😢
Im a student pilot and get terrible motion sickness. Guess ill have to fly more often.
also try a reliefband!
She is fine
Are you staring at the letter for the first exercise?
I have vertigo everyday, but I believe vertigo comes and goes?
Has it stopped?
Not at all. If I move my head slightly up or down, I feel sick. Even if I’m on my phone scrolling for a minute.
So what are you doing now for curing cause I also have same issue since 2 months
@@joshlawless7496 I been constantly dizzy room spinning since may of last year I think imma go crazy if this doesn't stop
@@Anirudh_Vishwakarma anything you do to help it? I'm going crazy
I m also facing the balance disorder since 2 month.its getting worst when i lie down.i don't know what to do now its giving me anxiety
Has a doctor determined the root cause of your vertigo? Try not to be anxious b/c that will make it harder on you. Try some calming breathing and positive thinking...not doing so can lead to being in a hyper-anxious state, like having the gas pedal stuck in your car..causing it to be out of control.
Thanks for the rply!
AS i easily get tensed from small matters i visit to a ENT SPECIALIST. He suggests me to take a job and try to stay busy will remove my prblm.Actually that helps!
Before i got sick one of my nearest rltv died in front of me i Couldn't take it and get sick.after visit the dr. I realize that's the main reason that makes my vertigo and balance Disorder severe..
Thanks to almighty, my Vertigo prblm is now almost gone.now i sometimes get anxiety prblm whenever i hear some bad news.
The head shake makes me extra dizzy almost fell over should i continue? 😢
Keep do it even if you get dizzy I promise it helps by time .. I got this illness in 2021 and I had a months of doing exercises + walking , it’s worthy .
You can do the exercises but with more slowly😅this miss doing it very faster
@@kanna8165iam having tremors in head neck hands fingers especially when i bend my one finger what to do
@@kanna8165how many months did you get to fully recover? And during the months did you have dizziness spinning coming back every week?
@@veravera2452 3 months consistently, then I did it in need , yes I had dizziness during it and more headaches but I noticed there was a slight of recovering .. now I’m okay but every time I become lazy and do not walk or not doing exercises for weeks ,I get a little dizziness .. so exercises and stay your body active is important
i feel dizzy but not spinning my doctor said it's not vertigo because i only feel like gonna fall but there is no spinning, what to do?
Did you check your inner ear ? Or your neck .. because these things make a balance problem
Google PPPD
how many BPM is #1 jeeeez. thats more than 120 isnt it? and my goodness i cannot do #2.
