I have the cricut joy and have not opened it yet. Been sitting in my closet unopened for months as I’ve been using cricut maker for my projects big and small. I needed to know what the difference was between the joy and joy extra. Ended up sticking with joy for smaller projects, although I wished there was cardstock in the size for joy so it’s easy to pop in and cut without having to measure and cut from a 12x12 cardstock, and using my maker for bigger projects. Thank you for this. Short, sweet and to the point. ❤
Thank you was very very helpful. To this very moment I was so confused as to what there difference in these machines were AND how they operated. Your short video was long enough to inform but short enough to watch the whole thing.
I just got my cricket joy like two months ago. I was wondering what was the difference between the joy and the joy extra. This is very helpful and simple thank you!
Great video, thank you! I just got the Cricut Joy myself, was considering switching to Joy Xtra, but I think I'll keep the Joy for small projects and get a Sihlouette Cameo 4 in the future.
@@Craft-e-Corner I agree, it's a great feature. I ended up keeping the Cricut Joy & also purchased a Sihlouette Cameo 5. I'm keeping the Cricut Joy specifically for birthday & event cards 😊

I just sold my explore air 2 and getting the joy Xtra since I only use it for print then cut and sometimes vinyl, I needed "xtra" desk space 😂
This will be great for you then! It is awesome for print then cut!

@@kt323 There ya go. Is it hard learning two different programs
Why Silhouette Cameo?
Great video! I was wondering what the difference was between the Joy and the Joy Xtra
I am so happy it helped you! If you have any additional questions, just let us know!
Does the joy Xtra have the Washi setting?
I am not seeing it. sorry.
I wonder if the joy extra is better at making shirts then the explorer 3
It depends on the size shirt you are making. They do the same great job just different sizes.
