Excuse me, where are your subscribers at?? This was short an sweet, lovely and smooth editing, and incredibly useful! I've watched so many dj videos on RUclips for the past 2.5 years for self teaching, and you're the first ive heard that mentions anything similar to number 5 and 6. You have me as a subscriber, don't be surprised if you get many more with this kinda content 🙌🙌
Yoo!! Thank you so much for your kind words, it really means a lot to learn that you’re getting such value from this video. I’ll try to keep the standard the same or better 😅🙏🏿
I understand what you say in "4. ignoring the audience", but your comment is only valid in some cases. Yes it's very important for a DJ to feel the audience. But take in consideration the event, if you are in a event made for music, (with a specific genre, made by a label, made by a collective...) the audience expect to hear something unknown, the audience expect to be surprised. but yes if you are booked in whatever random club playing random music... well... play random music (and maybe 1 ou 2 underground tracks)
Yup, you’re 100% correct. Niche events can be approached differently, especially deep house events, I know guys who go there for the sole purpose of discovering new music.
I love your work bro. In your opinion, which controller do you think is best for use Cuz I'm confused as to what to afford, if it's ddjflx10 or ddj 1000 pioneer
Thanks bro! Your comment couldn’t have come at a better time, I’m literally uploading a video about those 2 controllers tomorrow. Honestly the 1000 is still a good option but you’re very unlikely to find it new. The FLX is a better option but there isn’t much difference between them in terms of functionality
Feel free to add any mistakes you might have made earlier on in your career
