I just got the cricut explore one from my hubby for Christmas. I bought a self adhesive vinyl from the paper studio. I cut a piece to match the size of my project and stuck the vinyl paper liner down like the instructions said, once the cut was made I tried to pull my vinyl from the mat and it was stuck.. for better understanding I would describe it as the same effect you would get if you pulled a sticker off of something and paper was left behind. This happened and now I'm forced to pull off tine pieces of paper from my mat! What did I do wrong? Is that not a vinyl I can use? I purchased it from Hobby Lobby right next to cricut vinyl. Please help! I'm itching to get creative... Thanx!
You may have to use a mat that is less sticky which is the blue mat. You can also clean the mat with Awesome from the dollar stores. Spray a little on the mat...work it in...then rinse. Mat goes back to being sticky.

My design space doesn't look like this although it's brand new. It has different things listed down the left hand side of the canvas. Yours has a "insert shapes" and mine just has the word "shapes". Anyone know why? Thanks for the help!!! And great video!!!

Will you be able to make a video of how to cut and write multiples but same thing on the same paper. For ex, the shape and word that you just showed. How can you cut more of that on the same paper?
What do u call the bords you place in the mechine and does it come with one getting one today what accessories should I purchase with it I see they're all different types of boards which one would one need

I heard the subscription is free but seeing the "free trial for 14 days" threw me off. What I am asking is...does it charge a monthly fee or membership fee for the cricut design space i don't want to jump the gun without knowing all of the facts correctly but also aware that obviously some images that cost money will be charge to credit/debit on file.
I'm having problems with my vinyl lifting as my Cricut Explore cuts and I have lost many designs because of it. I was wondering if you have a video on preventing that, or maybe tips on something I can do differently. I have tried three different brands of vinyl and they have all done it. HELP appreciated:)
OMG how many cutting machines do you have? Are you married, if not will you marry me? If we added my craft supplies and yours I am pretty sure we could have more sq ft of supplies and equipment then any major craft brick and mortor store has. LOL

Can you put a sharpie marker on there with out a holder? You can on the blade side of a explore so I'm wondering!
