Out of all the Yakuza villains, Sadamoto has to be the scummiest. Also, I swear the villains in the Judgment series love using knifes as their primary weapon.
I just wanna say, choosing "Crimson Devil" as the title is genius on so many levels; - Sadamoto was the metaphorical "devil" for the Crimson Lotus, as it was solely his influence and persuasion that allowed them to grow from a simple group of college friends to a dangerous criminal organisation, just like how Satan persuaded Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden - Sadamoto is comparatively small-bodied and not very physically powerful, but he relies on deception, manipulation, and other such evil tactics to help him gain as much material wealth as possible, just like the Biblical Satan himself - In modern media, Satan is typically coloured and/or associated with the colour red (crimson), tying into how Sadamoto is easily one of the cruellest and evilest villains the series has had so far
Am I the only one who thought this was a bad guy right off the bat when we first met him at the detective agency? He bares a resemblance to Soma, so I had an idea he would be the main antagonist. Lo behold I was right and not surprised whatsoever.
