Wow, you've made me fall in love with my own add-on. Haha. Seriously though, thank you for your help in shaping this add-on. Also, your idea to add a diffuse mode was crucial; it significantly improved the workflow. 🚀
Any chance you'd be willing to "port" this over to work with Octane Blender material nodes?! I 100% would buy, and I'm sure the Octane Blender communinity would find it very useful as well.
@@DEM3RZ Actually, I initially intended to make it compatible with Octane. I just need to refine its core functionality to the point where I can consider it a complete product, and then I'll develop Octane compatibility.
Perhaps easier understandable naming could be full light mode and rim light mode or highlight mode. Very cool addon! I made a custom operator when I saw his first video. It's not as interactive as this but helps me place lights fast using the 3d cursor. My method basically does that diffuse mode I guess
Hey, Cristopher: You can replicate the "move the light" behaviour with the shortcut Shift+T with light selected (move target) and using Ctrl within modal (for orbiting). No need for addon. Love your videos, by the way. Cheers!
Nice addon. And also very well explained too. I downloaded version 1.7.2 Beta, but couln't find HDRI-lights or Light Customization menu with my Mac version of Blender 4.0.2. When are they available?
Greetings, I'm the developer of Light Wrangler. Could you please send me a screenshot of your Blender terminal so I could start figuring out where the issue might be? You could find my email on the addon page, in settings in Blender, or here in my RUclips profile. Sorry for the inconvenience, I can't post it here.
Hi. Oops. My mistake. I accidentally had EEVEE on instead of Cycles. So everything is ok, and Light Customization features present. I noticed also that Light Wrangler works with any added light, which is even nicer. Well done.

@@leonidaltman amazing! I will keep an eye out for it!

@@leonidaltman Wow Leonid, Octane compatibility will be INCREDIBLE. I'm very happy you're planning this and I'm really looking forward to that!
Christopher's videos are the best and this is a really good and time saver addon.
Those modes just blew my mind.
I love this thing. Probably the best custom lighting tool for blender
Great addon, I've been using it ever since buying it. The "P" key is a nice tip.
INCREDIBLE! It transforms Blender into keyshot!!
Your videos is amazing. Very helpful! Tnx
Nice, I’m convinced ❤️
This addon should cost at leats double. Its incredible, from the point to light to the gobos to the lamp textures
Wish I could give this 2 thumbs up

Yes, that's similar but It's a more rudimentary behavior and doesn't work as well as the add-on.
Another feature which skipped here is light to track object which is cool feature for moving object.
🤩💡🙏

Make sure they're enabled in the preferences for LightWrangler. They may not be on by default.

Nothing to do with the tutorial, but is it an M3 MacBook? 💻
No, M1 Pro.
