Great job Oscar! This is something that most people don't get to see the more affordable options. Excelente!
Thanks im glad you like it, by the way you have very interesting channel, many people telling their stories all over the world as an expats, thats amazing
AND - sometimes for better neighbors, too - I always appreciate the locals that are working for a better future.
Just found you on RUclips. Your channel is great.
Thanks Ruth
We had used Oscar last June and it was the very best decision we made on our trip! He made us so very special and comfortable! He knows his stuff! We will never go back without his services!!👍🏻🥇
You're so lucky to live in Puerto Vallarta!! 😊
Yes I am!
So informative! Gracias!!!
Well presented and great information..., :)
thanks awesome Oscar I plan to rent long term...
Great walk around the neighborhood. This is wonderful. I love the market!!
Thanks Oscar!. I depend on your information for everything Puerto Vallarta because I know it will be truthful
I appreciate that
Thank you for this great video. Dios le bendiga
This was one of your best videos Oscar
it was, but now is obsolete, its old and nothing of these aplys now. All change a lot.
That area isn't too far from Fluvial so I've been near there sometimes. Thank you for showing neighborhoods!!!
My pleasure
@@ToursExcursionsVallarta Yes, Oscar, I'm always back in the neighborhoods. From my experience, I always get great rates given I'm in P.V. during the summers when it's less crowded. I'm not so sure I'll like the Old Town during busy season - more lines to wait in!!! The busy streets are over crowded. I do realize that I need to find something away from the tourist strip along the Malecon, because those places are expensive in the summer. I'm sure I'll do fine back in the barrios where I can get a low rate on a house with plenty of space for our two well behaved dogs. A friend has a house in Nogalito that's fine - it's just a bit of a trek commuting to the Zona Romanitca, but I usually have a car and either way works fine for me. I do like being on the beach though - it's a little nicer (but just not worth the premium). If I bought something, I'd definitely get a place on the beach and sub it out when I travel.
Yes, it seems that this is the general rule among foreigners who want to stay in Puerto Vallarta, to look in the neighborhoods for a better price.
love it man
Hi Oscar,
Another awesome informative vlog from you! I'm planning to retire to MX in 3 years, but all the great info you have been sharing is making me want to rethink that plan, especially after my week stay at the beginning of this month! 🤣 The services you provided us made our trip truly memorable! I can't wait to come back next year! Keep those great vlogs coming! 😎👍🏽⛱️
Hey Phyllis, how are you? I'm glad you like the info, but don't hestiate Puerto Vallarta is a great place to live, also there is a large community of expats and retire people from USA & Canada, im sure you will do fine here. Also im here for my friends. See you soon in this Paradise 😎🏖️
No hills was a good point, ty
Very accurate info. To show everything about this area would be over 1 hour. I like taking the # 35 bus to the airport and The Malecon from this area. 😎🍸
Don, how did you figure out the bus system in PV? We spent a month in PV earlier this year and walked 40min or so to get to doctors appt close to macro plaza. We could only take buses along route 200, could not figure any bus from Centro or malecon to pitillal or NW from there...had to walk or uber or taxi...
we asked people, downloaded an app about Vallarta buses etc and when going where they said we either didn't find a bus station or locals would tell us that the bus doesn't go where we expected...
@@yestohappiness2721 I found these themes... Romantic Zone is the terminal. Main arteries are Acesicio, airport. Or Fco Villa thru Pitilal. Sometimes I just randomly ride to see where it goes. 34 n 35 are great routes to Macro P and that nice area. ATB. 😊
@@dhobby7771 Thank you! We'll ride them too next time in PV to solve the bus mystery :). Cheers!
Glad it was helpful!
Patita Salada is a very nice restaurant. Great shrimp burritos.
Thank you for listing this. I love Shrimp Burritos. I'm going to check it out. I just wish the place was open later than what Google says which is 6pm. Would love to eat their food for dinner instead of lunch.
very good...ty
Hello my friend!
Will be in Puerto Vallarta in 2 weeks. October 31. Hope to meet up with you while we are in Puerto Vallarta.
Have a great week!
Brian
Sounds great!
Great video. Though I wouldn't want to live in that spot (we prefer the Marina), your video showed me a couple of places I want to try for the food as we love supporting local businesses, so thank you for slowly walking around :).
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@ToursExcursionsVallarta I have a question
Gracias, Señor.
De nada
Excelente vídeo, muy buena información.
Saludos ✌️
Gracias
Very interesting video, Oscar. Are there neighborhoods (even Zona Romantica) where furnished apartments have their own washing machines and dryers? Are there many good eating places that are vegetarian/vegan? Are the medical services and pharmacies equivalent to the US? Which areas have the amenities and conveniences that are fairly quiet where you don't need to have a car? Thanks.
decent vid man
Gracias hermano. Can u recomend in nuevo vallarta a similar search. Long term.
Check Valle Dorado neighborhood, check my video about this area.
Hi Oscar, Thanks for great information. Looking information for a 1 month exploratory journey. Looking furnished apartments in the $450-$550 range in safe area. Many thanks!
Glad it was helpful!

Ola Oscar. Like to ask what's your take on Zihuatanejo.
I've visit PV several time.
I like surfing the wave at sayulita and San Pancho have become to crowded for my taste. ZIHUATANEJO has some good spots. My main concern is security. Big concern in the pass.
Have things change?
Hopefully you have some insight.
hola Ralph im sorry i dont know nothing about of zihuatanejo except is not very famous area for vacations
@@ToursExcursionsVallarta No problem. Thank you
Hello Oscar, I would like if you could show me a little town that is referred to as Tuna. I knew The Perez family that lived there. Its not the actual name of the town but nicknamed that. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
of course, that town is in Puerto Vallarta, I´ve never heard of it, email me please toursexcursionsvallarta@gmail.com
Sorry my friend but $500-$1,000 US dollars are definitely NOT budget rental rates. Those are the rates for renting in the US on a budget, not in Mexico.
Oscar, how do expats get used to constant high heat and humidity most of the year? Even having to live with air conditioning in every room ?

this is not a low budget film. ^0.00 a month among the local away from beach is. Lets hear about those places why don't you.
If you want to pay 0.00 a month you are always welcome to sleep in the parks or on the beach, because that is the only way you are going to get free rent in MX..or anywhere else..lol.
No tiene que ser en vayarta Gracias
$500 to $1000 US is not low budget. $250 to $500 is. Remember all gringo are Not Rich.
10 years a go maybe, not now
