Hi there! Resident of Puerto Vallarta and I love the low season because 1) there's less people, 2) you get to really know the locals on a personal basis 3) you can find discounts for 'staycations', restaurants, etc and 4) the rain. The only thing I don't like is 1) the humidity 2) businesses generally close for vacation during these times and 3) the rain 4) the ocean water is icky lol. Next time you're in PV let me know and we'll have some margaritas and tacos. :)

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I love that you list the rain as a pro of low season 😍 I’ve also been loving rainy season here in Guadalajara-the storms are intense but kinda fun to watch when you have a comfortable, cozy place to watch from.

As a local also, I would pretty much agree with this. This summer though has been very different. Little rain but extreme heat for months! I just went away for two weeks which was a nice reprieve. The green green landscape is indeed the best part of low season. As well as fewer people! 😊

Thanks for the tour, it's a shame that some places are closed but they know if staying open during low season is worth it for them. I see that it does look so beautiful thanks to the rain, very lush. I would enjoy low season better, I'm not a fan of big crowds.

Great video...we stayed in Nuevo Vallarta and really loved Bucerias. Can you do a video about Mazatlan? We're currently here and loving the beaches. I think Mazatlan has a lot to offer and it's beautiful. A little bit of a pueblo feel in their historic centro and with resorts in the Zona Dorada, The golden zone, where most tourists end up. Thank you!

The new highway is only partially open. It still takes a little over four hours to get to the Zona Romántica since it’s on the south side of Centro. The roads are very smooth, but the tolls are expensive-more than $1,000 MXN each way!

Hi, great video. When I saw you grab the Doritos package from the store I was wondering if you think they taste the same as the USA. I noticed when I lived there half a year that I could not stand any of the chips there they just tasted very very different and I love my chips. Found myself eating the fresh chips from vendors because that tasted more like Real PS I tried many many different ones, not good for me. What are your thoughts? Thanks again for all your hard work❤
