Friends, I am curious, would you be interested in a face to face group experience where I share EVERYTHING with you? ( Would be a paid retreat experience) Let me know your thoughts! What would you want it to look like? Comment below.
Can def find airbnbs for WAY less in 5 de diciembre which is close to beach and restaurants etc. last year I paid 30/night for room two blocks from beach and two blocks from fish market with laundry and kitchen and huge dining room. That was shared space.
Hello from Seattle USA 🇺🇸. Thank you for your information. I will go to Puerto Vallarta tomorrow February 2 2024. God bless your heart ❤️ dear Larisa. 🧸🇺🇸🇲🇽
I just checked this week and I saw several long term rentals for $800-1400 range. One was actually a new apartment as well…so it seems you just have to catch at a right time.
There was a time not to long ago where a person could live on $1,000. per month Social Security in Puerto Vallarta. That time has come and gone! I live in PV and have a friend who is struggling and living a big time sub standard life on $1,500. per month. I do mean SUB STANDARD! He lives in a dumpy apartment and his clothes always look dirty! A person needs $2,500. per month to even have a somewhat decent to decent life style! Even to do the latter, you will need to search and find an OK apartment with a 12 month lease. Do not come here with a delusional mind state!
Thank you for such an informative Video. We live here in Nuevo and are wondering if you have a list of Hotels / Resturaunts along the beach that will allow locals to come in and enjoy without a day pass fee.
There are only two restaurants right on the beach where you can come to eat and enjoy the beach without a day pass . Sabia restaurant is located at tbe entrance to the public beach and another is a small restaurant on a left side of the condominium called Kite.
Hello from the Okanagan BC Canada. I am surprised at the cost of health care there but I'm sure the cost of living helps with that. I like this video as is shows us what shopping local is like. I like knowing what it is like from another perspective and knowing where they go. Thanks for making these. Cheers
The best way to do it is to book AirBNB for couple of weeks, and when you come here find the area you like the best and start looking for a long term rental on Facebook market place, talk to people, look for the signs in the windows. I hope my advice helps:) Thank you very much for watching my RUclips channel.
Found your channel today watched a few of your videos already seriously considering moving away from Canada. Love PV I’ve only been there as a tourist staying in all-inclusive resorts. Would love to watch a video on how to get permanent residency in Mexico. Thx!!
I have subscribed to your videos and find them quite informative and interesting. Thanks! My wife and me have been on vacation almost every year from 2008 to 2020. We stopped coming when covid started; we didn't take the vaccine and wanted to avoid travel restrictions and delays. We love PV very much and also have friends from BC which have their own casas in Bucerias, staying over most of the winter months. We are all retired. Best wishes.
As a long time resident of this Bay, 4 decades, I wish these newbes would keep their sharing to their personal experiences....because so much of what this inexperienced newbe is claiming is 100% WRONG.....dead wrong!
If you have so much to say - share on your RUclips channel. I guess it’s easier to make troll comments because you can’t get anyone to watch your videos? 👋 thanks for watching and commenting!

Wow I didn’t know Elena is your daughter. She was the guiding light for us when we purchased our home in Nuevo.
Yes, Elena is my daughter and best friend:) thank you for supporting our channels 😍
Really great, open and honest chat. Really useful and enjoyable.

Have a good stay in PV. Thank you for watching my RUclips channel:)
Thank you for your honest❤ opinion.
We're thinking about coming there and staying for a couple of months
We hear its gotten very expensive in that area.
Thanks for sharing.
🙏🏼 Cheers from 2 Canadians 🇨🇦 living in Mexico.🇲🇽 ✌🏼
It did, especially near the beach.
@@LarissaSokla some realtors reached out to us in the Yucatán looking for contacts. Property is much cheaper in the Yucatan even at the beach.
@@2GringosOnTheGulf I could absolutely see why, but for me personally PV will always have a very special energy that is worth the price! :)
Thanks for sharing and showing how much things are going up. And I agree there are going to keep going. And boy there a lot. Lot more in the Baja

Yeah, all the spots we have looked at as potential relocation destinations seem to be over priced. Surely there must be somewhere?

I pay $132/month Blue Cross in Canada and my groceries are double what you pay.
Thank you for your comment:) Yes, I live in a very affordable paradise 🙂

Great video bravo
Larissa I'm in cinco de diciembre I love your videos and would love to meet you!!
i pay 1245$ a month for blue cross / blue shield health insurance hawaii
hoping to pay around 500$ a month when i reach 65 under medicare
I see it is out of my reach now. Da nang Vietnam looks like a much better value.
For me Vietnam is a place to travel to but not to live in as it’s hot , hot 🥵 weather all year round.
It has gone up all over Mexico, because of inflation and gentrification
Where was the local fresh vegetable stand in your video?
It is in Punta de Mita every Saturday
Hi great video do you buy using pesos or US dollars
I live here full time and use pesos
Do you change your USD dollars to pesos?
$5000 for a beachfront condo? As a future retiree, I'm not paying that! If I can afford that, I'd live in Lake Tahoe
El Salvador is also now priced like Miami
Can you advise the best way to find a long term rental? Thank you so much, my husband and I are planning on moving to PV in September.

This is literally so expensive I’d probably just try to do a month bnb in romantic zone and live it up in peak season then leave.
Sylvester seems muy simpático but all the flies swarming on the meat in his shop was gross?
Ьольшое спасибо!😊
Пожалуйста 🙂
The dollar is now at $17 less the interchange maybe like $16.70
Ouch, considering it's Mexico, that's an expensive place. The Americans and Europeans always drive the prices up sadly.
So wonderful you have become Spanish speaking, I commend you Ms. Sokla. In such a short time too I might add.
Thank you! 😃very much for your comment 😍
@@LarissaSokla You should do a video about how you learned. I think many people would be interested.
Not for the nationals

And hoje about dentist 🦷?
You are laughing at the dentist’s cost in mexico, you pay 5-6 times less than in US or Canada. And dentists are excelente in mexico!!
No we're moving to Arizona much cheaper.
Mexico is more fun for me than AZ.
