I haven't even heard of this one.
I'm sure you'll mention it, but do you have to worry about being eliminated early in this one?

That did not occur in our game, I vaguely recall that players that are knocked out can grab a new character and jump back in but don’t remember exactly how that worked.
I think it is also partially mitigated by most little nasties dealing very low damage that is unlikely to kill anyone unless it is late game and they have already taken a lot of damage. And late game the pace accelerates quite a bit with fast and deadly big nasties so I don’t expect a protracted end game with players sitting out. I think it willl usually be a pretty quick collapse or victory play.
But in larger player count games where you have fewer extra characters and potentially more player on player conflict you may have people sitting out for a few rounds.
I think that’s just a built in risk of the genre

Mike the designer here. The simple answer is 'no'. The more complicated answer is that I've designed the game in such a way that you have to work really hard to get knocked out early; but if you do, you have 2 choices: 1) Wake up as a different crewmember in the Cryo-Pods with a new choice of Agendas and simply keep playing the game or 2) Choose any Nasty currently on the board and become it 😈
This means that Nasty starts moving like a player with intelligent direction and becomes much more dangerous than it was before - which incentivises players to keep one another alive. It also makes this the only game I know where 'Death is a positive career move.' 😆
