Milk is not the commodity I would want cannabis to follow! The only dairy farmers that are able to make money are huge farms far from family farms!

I’m from Wisconsin, almost every family farm i one knew has been sold off to large corporate farms. Sad to see it, only a handful of places to get fresh butter and milk

Agreed same here in CT. My family farm transitioned from milk to apples when we couldn’t make ends meet anymore.

Farming needs to co create and co re generate with nature akso. All farming shoukd have a law that states a part of land to be given over to nature conservatin or crop co planting beneficial to the crop and to nature. And the farmer gets a tax break for signing up to the nature consevation program. Or something along those lines. Tax breaks for going back to natural soil reguvenation .fallow lay or self sustained soil inputs. No till is doing great its a way forward. Abd thetes potential for no till to become the top way if the soil and substrate formulas create a substrate that remains exceptional for farming in. I believe farming soils need some kind of substrate that maintains airation along with nutrition closrd loop sustainability. All soils will close up and compact over time congeal etc. if they work a substrate into the soil along with amendments then it wont compact or congeal.
