If u wanna get rid of those gifts(legend pack tickets) u go to bonus pack section, spend them there then u can get the gifts then spend them more there
Im loving these longer videos of gameplay of archetypes. I kind of have a hard time with combo decks like this one and the Majestic Star Dragon Summon deck. I usually stick to simple decks like Yosenju/Kaiju etc... but with these longer videos, you're helping me learn the basics of the deck and how to get out of certain situations. These videos help more people than you know, and the more duels and examples you give, the better you make us. Keep up the awesome work! Not to mention that I left the game before Links, and just recently came back to the game through Master Duel.
I'm still learning all the different combos that I can do with the setup I have. I fumbled through setting up a baron de fleur and a grandmaster and my opponent couldn't out those two cards.
Guys here is a tip to counter sword soul. When they summon the token they are locked into synchro, so when they activate a sword soul card to summon a token, get rid of the non tuner so they can't synchro summon and they can't summon from the extra except synchro.
not really a good advice because leaving a token on board means all tenyi cards remain live. Popping the token will usually end a swordsoul deck's turn unless they have longyuan to extend
@@WeMoomingNow sure it does not work 100% of the time, but that's one of the best times to interact. Usually they will use their tenyi first so most likely they will either not have the right level tenyi, or no tenyi at all. As for the longyuan, that's just rng.
@@anotherguy1324 There is near zero benefit of popping the non token. Swordsoul wants to synchro, so take away their tuner token! I am a Tenyi sword soul player at diamond 1 and I can tell you that our decks are BUILT to extent when you pop our non-tuner, but popping the tuner token does hurt a lot!

It's so clear that almost no one who follows this channel has ever placed the tch or ocg. Swordsoul will not be good for the game, it's a fucking insane combo deck in the context of master duel.

This is really helpful, as I've gotten into a lot of habitual combos from my days running Yang Zing Tenyi and Rose Tenyi decks up to this point, so this is good for figuring out where I can break from what I've been doing and have stronger plays.
@@akumas77 And that deck bricks every match, can't run as many staples, has one combo, maybe one and a half. It was pushed out imediatly by the DPE+Swordsoul meta. there is no more VW. Guess what? When you need 2 cards to do your job and you need one on the field, a deck who can play a million combos with one card it's better.

Thanks for this, I've been trying to get my Swordsoul Tenyi Decks' more complicated Plays figured out as opposed to the standard Moe Ye to Chixiao searching Longyuan for Baronne chain. I'd guess the next Synchro there would be either Berserker, Dragrite, or a Psy-FrameLord Omega. Also what ironically got me to start thinking more in depth about my combo chains with Swordsoul Tenyi was the Borrel/Rocket Deck I have on my Alt(I run Swordsoul Tenyi on both accounts) I added in Halq, and Auroradon with both Olion and Deskbot and was able to do Borreload Savage Dragon and Omega on the same turn in one test, and Savage Dragon with Arc Light in another

I'm curious to know how you yourself learn all the various plays and intricacies the deck has. Though I assume it's a combination of theorycrafting on your discord, playing it many times, experience in playing combo decks and their usual staples, the deck already having had plenty of time in the TCG to develop nicely, chat being able to assist with some plays (most are completely stupid though :P) and others. But I'm still quite curious if I missed anything?

Ever since Swordsoul and DPE came out, I have never been enjoy playing with my budget Truedraco deck this much. Literally easy scoop after I activate Skill Drain or Monarch Erupt.
Hi Dkayed, I enjoyed the tutorial and gave the deck a try, I made it exactly the same. However, I played into a Swordsoul mirror match, I had crossout designator in hand and they had a mo ye on the field activate their effect. Idk why, I had the card activation button on auto but it would not let me activate the effect. I've had this happen before with Called by the Grave and IDK what is going on. DO you have any insight?
He even misplayed in the first replay LOL. He could've bring out Chengying with his optimal starting hand. End board should've been Chaofeng, Baronne, Chengying, and Chixiao (total of 4 synchros + extra draw and burn).
Hey Dkayed. There’s a deck list out there not on the master duel meta page that’s worth highlighting. It’s called Calamities Assault mode Tenyi magician’s Souls (CATS). It abuses a bunch of tcg banned cards to turbo VFD. There’s also a variant of it called Rose Tenyi. It replaces the DM parts of the deck to get out Baronne early to protect against distribution. I ran into an opponent that used a rose Tenyi along with yang zing cards but I have no idea how it’s supposed to combo out VFD. I remember correctly, this Yang Zing Rose Tenyi uses Baronne’s pop turn 1 as part of the combo. Could you make a video highlighting these decks?
I was a little afraid about the banlist coming from duel links, but MD's approach is more forgiving, I see so many cards that are currently banned that I have not acquired in purpose of not losing my investment, but given how they did the banlist I might try this deck.
I’m a returning player and looking into other decks besides blue eyes and dark magician. This deck archetype looks fun but a bit confusing for me as I’m unfamiliar. Do you have any tips on learning how this deck works?

Mee too man... Sometimes I get fixated in a single combo I know well and then when that gets blocked I just get paralyzed

Swordsoul is the new drytron/tri-brigade 7 out of 10 games I played in plat were against this deck, super consistent turn 1 and otk potential

Been trying to build Swordsouls, lots of plays, but lots of reading/timing involved, apart from the protos and the chaofeng, it does not feel toxic

I’ve been crafting this deck except with DPE aswell! At some point i might try the deskbot halq version too because it seems pretty damn effective.
