Yes. I have a similar deck. This is my favorite solitaire deck. I try to play this as fast as possible before the opponent surrenders but my version has one day of peace instead of gold coin but the card seem interesting I'll try that. I did practice this first in solo mode then ranked , Funny enough I got the 10 special wins title with this deck before even reaching gold rank.
I honestly feel bad when I play Infinitrack in MD since the turns take so long and my opponent just has to sit there which is why I changed over to a somewhat faster Railway focused variant instead since turns go much faster most of the time, but yeah I'm not sure what that guy was doing to end on only Anger Knuckle and 2 backrow like that.
I am playing Exodia (I think I may have copied someone using a version of yours a few weeks back), I have just hit Platinum 5 with my Exodia deck and funny enough my set up is almost the same but with a few changes. Take the Gold moon and put a Cup of Ace instead, reason is because you may get gold moon early so it could become a dead card since the rest of your hand may have cards you want to save. So Gold moon is a good Mid to Late exodia combo but not the start (unless you have dead cards in your hand you don't need) Reason why "Cup of Ace" is my choice is, you don't give up cards in your hand, can still get a spell counter and could draw two cards. Also you only need Two Magical Stone Excavation, a third is useless in my opinion unless you are just trying to get rid of dead cards in your hand and deck at that point and a better card could be adding a "One day of Peace". As though it is a limited card to one, but allows you to draw one card merely letting your opponent draw one as well which shouldn't be any worry to you if you got your combo going. Really he has a great deck set up for Exodia, honestly it has gotten me a positive win ratio (my slightly different set up) because you can brick if you don't pull a map or library off the back or within 3 to 5 draws into the combo. I will say, "Gold Moon" isn't a bad card to have for the deck but pray it doesn't appear too early into the combo or at a moment you have cards you can't give away. but if you don't want to risk a coin flip(from Cup of Ace) it's not a bad card to use as it gets rid of cards you may not want returning to the deck as useless fluff. But I will for sure tell players to add the "One day of Peace" card and replace it for one of the "Magical stones" Anyways that is my slight Different build that I ended up with (Funny enough I set up the night before I saw this video). Almost the Same but with a two card difference.
I am playing exodia on platinum I would never play a list that auto lose because hand trap on library...i even tried to play only 2 library because I want be independent on that card and less library less brick lmao Btw I play 2 cup of aces...I removed them at the end I m using again...that card is heavely understimated but if this list istant die by 1 hand trap you can't afford make your opponent draw
I'm a big exodia player I got a few turn 1 wins getting the cards I needed alot. Mine is alot of drawing and delaying the enemy with different cards such as chicken game, day of peace, sky striker link cards that lower your enemy attack power, and a few pots and exodia cards for either drawing or delaying. Even without exodia my deck would do well with my last resort of blue eyes where dragons.
so at the time of this posting i was trying to make an FTK deck which i know would be extremely difficult and/or impossible but i gave up as soon as they decided to limit upstart goblin. now i have zero drawing power. one day of peace, upstart goblin, into the void, all gone.
At 15:55 I would have been better to use magical stone sending the mallet and the bamboo stick and using to to grab back the bamboo stick you sent and searching golden stick with bamboo stick you sent since then you would have been able to use the spells getting up too 3 counters and drawing a card and having a bamboo stick on the field for other golden sticks and also gold stick eff to draw 2 cards which means you would have ended up drawing the same amount of cards while keeping a stone in your hand and having a bamboo stick on the field for more golden sticks TLDR: instead of mallet at 15:55 use magic stone sending mallet and stick cus it would’ve ended on same amount or draws (-1 spell counter) but also a magic stone in your hand and a bamboo stick on the field for any gold sticks you draw.
Since the new ban list came out I've had really good luck with cup of ace. It's a bit of a gamble but I've found that it works either way if you have enough extenders on hand. Win you get 2 cards and a spell counter, loose and you still get a spell counter.
I still do have the slightly different older deck that I still actually like a lot regardless of consistency because it seems once you get the ball rolling, you can win the great most of the time. Hard bricks are definitely depending on the Exodia pieces in your starting hand since that lowers your draw pool for drawing cards.
Was trying to pull rarity upgrades for my PK deck last night, and decided to build this with the dust I didn’t need. Ended up getting the Sealed One title in a little over 2 hours, while also going from plat 5 to 3. It was incredibly consistent even going second, and I was able to play through hand traps and effects with a good amount of success. The one spell I never really utilized was Card of Demise. It was usually just a discard for Magical Stone Excavation or used for Gold Moon Coin. Overall it was a fun deck to play. “8/10 would play again.” - Sauce~ 🍜
I just want more anti-meta decks to become a thing. The main way people seem to win is through basically special Summoning their way through most of their deck. That usually leans to a game that lasts one or two turns as they stack the effects of their monsters and gets their strongest monsters on the field within a turn or so. Decks that work but go against the grain are kinda refreshing... and I take a kinda perverse pleasure in decks that are anti special summon or just plain don't play then same game your oppenent is playing. Anything to make the game a little longer and for people to "engage" in the game's back and forth again.
Have you ever tried the treasure panda saryuja variant? been messing around with one and i found it to be more consistent than library versions, esp since you get all the vanilla exodia pieces into the grave super early so it greatly fixes the problem of fizzling halfway through the combo when your hand is clogged with exodia pieces.
@@Dzeeff What is the best way to share you my decklist? I have a build i'm pretty proud of after many many hours of testing and tweaking. But you are right in that it adds two more handtraps to watch out for: nibiru and sometimes maxx C. maxx C isn't that bad if they don't run nib or don't draw veiler/imperm before your first saryuja. generally I found that after you make saryuja, you are stable enough to survive though imperm/ash. also helps that saryuja can summon a second panda.
I agree with you about demise. It often can be a brick, but unless you get really unlucky it's at least a pot of greed if you open it early (which is when you are most likely to stall).
I played against an Exodia deck yesterday that seemed like they had a really strong open. I was confident that they would pull it off, so I stepped out for a smoke. Came back to a loss from time out and felt bad. If that person is reading this, I'm sorry I wasn't being petty or salty.
I also love the Exodia, so i'm only playing that deck. I use 3 Thunder Drakes since if you draw one and discard it draws you the other two. Works as a bait for Ash Blossom and can be combo with Magical Stone to Discard the two of em and get back a golden bamboo sword or something to draw further into the deck. I find Map being bad cause of the Chicken Game and the Pseudo (field card which copies chicken games) But in general i really like it because it's a fast pace deck and end the games quick. Basically if you go second you look your hand if it's bad surrender if opponent plays negate card surrender. If you go first just drop down everything and snowball the game if you draw Royal Library if not.. surrender and go next. So basically you play cards or you surrender and go next. It's an ok deck to grind some cards and wins but not consistence for climbing the ladder.
There should be a mechanism where you get paused no matter if the enemy has a response or not. I know, it slows the game down. But knowing if the opponent has a response or not is so valuable
Sorry impossible...time is precious and you can just off toggle and be careful at your opponent moves and switch it if necessary(I did it)...this is a game for everyone also for casual players this mean that comfort have priority...
@@willburning6955 I would argue your wrong there is only a rank mode currently once they add rank and casual play I would say there should be a way to toggle and pause especially if people plan to grind through rank.
When it comes to the bamboo it's never ever worked for me on another channel I put 4 of his decks together, exodia and banquet of millions and mirror force and morphing jar and every magic card used to special summon exodia when I need and sangan gets the I have never lost yet with this deck you mainly want to use morphing jar to get rid of the cards you don't need
I really wish they would put once per turn restrictions on into the void, upstart, and allure of darkness, nothing feels worse than being ftk by deck out or exodia decks.
the players that let you execute your turns, i have respect for. I never surrender, just for this type of reason... but like you, i understand when someone leaves
Hey Dzeef can you answer something for my deck? My deck excels at shutting down my opponent. I can bring out Thousand Eyes Restrict, Spell Canceller, Jinzo, Destiny Hero Plasma, and Black Luster Soldier Envoy of the Beginning. I can shut down spells, traps, my opponent's monsters effects, shut down battle/position change and BLC removes monsters from play so any GY effects wouldnt be able to be played. So my question is what can my opponent do to get out of this situation?
Doug just needs 20 more wins and get tactitan title. I still liked running pseudo space with map. At minimum It's still always a live library counter and can be played in other decks.
I'm pretty sure the only reason I got the Sealed One title so quickly is because I hit the ground running with it like week two and people were playing more games to completion. Now resolving the effect is hard (people scoop a lot) unless I'm running dumb gimmick stuff that tries to obfuscate the fact that I'm playing Exodia.
I didn't know about that achievement. Not gonna scoop for my opponents now if they try to bring back exodia. just gonna turn my thing off and go use the bathroom and shit lmao
And you will lose for time lmao they may have cards that force you interact...btw you can be enough sure that they may need achievement if they are maximum gold 3

You might want to consider playing 1 Numeron Network, 1 Numeron Calling, 1 Memories of hope and a Saryuja in this, just to see more cards. Also getting a Numeron-core is worth it, those cards are just the nuts.

I made a exodia for when i just dont whant to play and just farm winning bonus because if u get Lucky u just win and get 3 bonus if your oponent dont give up u get 5 bonus or 6 if u have low life point its just nice to do on the side to get ticket gem and bad old card if u whant them for some reason
Could you please consider putting a link to or including the deck list in the description? It's a lot easier to follow text when trying to copy decks from a video format lol
I think people would forfeit less if you put cards in your extra deck. Personally I think seeing an empty stone slab next to the opponent's hand is very intimidating, but I also haven't been playing this game for very long at all edit: nevermind i just read the effect of the one pendulum monster
I don't mind watching a long combo to get to a win condition, I just get pissed when someone ALREADY has the win in place and they're still comboing off. If you have lethal on board, END IT. Anything else is BM.
I copied the Exodia deck from his video and agreed that it was wildly inconsistent so what I did was instead of adding mooncoin and another copy of magical stone, I removed a copy of foolish burial and map and added two copies of cup of ace. Yeah sure it fails sometimes but it's better than having a card that would cause you to lose cards in your hand.
What I did was make my own. I used a combination of sky striker ace cards, drawing cards, exodia traps/spells,and blue eyes white dragon. For me it's very consistent as not only I can garentee eoxida will come sooner or later but also if I did an oopsie I don't have to rely on exodia.

hope for escape is better i made a deck like that like almost 10 years ago revolving around hope for escape to pull exodia. its rare to get a brick hand and its even rarer to lose
The opponent surrendering is also why I haven't gotten my Destroyer title for deck out victories. I've done it many many times but as soon as my opponent sees what's happening, they nearly always surrender, giving me no credit for the deck out. I'm at 17/20 for the title and the last few days have been really really rough trying to get those last 3 wins. I wish there was something that could be done against surrenders robbing you of the credit of a successful play of your deck.
Yeah I usually let them get far enough to "prove" they have it, then scoop. I wanna play cards not watch someone play solitaire. It's interesting until the library procs start going off then it's a done deal
my thoughts exactly, they wanna play a solitaire deck to me that is extremely disrespectful to other players times for something stupid as burn or exodia.
I won so much with exodia and I crafted and updated the deck so many times that I am surprised that I lose if no interruption lmao...tbf I am even more surprised if the opponent don't have an usable ht here in platinum league
I just started the game a few days ago. Played rank, saw library and knew I lost. But I let them have it and let them get their exodia. It was the 3rd to last card though lol
I've heard there's no animations for other alt wincons like Destiny Board, Vennominaga, Flying Elephant etc, but are there titles for them like Exodia has or did Exodia get all the special treatment while the others have been left to play in the flowerbeds outside the window?
I have to respectfully disagree. Exodia is definitely worth crafting if you already have another deck for competitive play. The amount of fun I had playing this deck by far outweighs the amount of fun I had trying to play a sweaty comp deck.
Ive been running this deck and honestly it still bricks. I dropped one Golden Bamboo Sword, ive been bricking with 3. Also subbed in a Foolish burial and a monster reborn to get into Magical Library faster
What my precursor said but also its not impossible to somewhat play around at least a few of the commonly seen boards with exodia decks. Or i am just bad at yugioh and thats why so many people beat me with exodia going second against my full combo shenanigans
I used to run a hope for escape version of exodia that actually prefers going second for the extra draw. but that was back when decks couldn't set up multiple OPT omni-negates. now-a-days its basically unplayable.
An extremely intrinsecal potential card gain without library and ttt...if you want a deck built to go first but can win going second...if you want start going second then 3 maxx c and ttt
Crooked cook could be a banable card in the future with the new right hand shark addition. It completely bypasses every way to deal with it unless you have a kaiju... and if you are like me and already run 3 kaiju and never see em when this deck actually pops up... you see the debate on if it's banworthy...
I play Exodia on master duel. I find it super annoying when people surrender right before you pull the last piece. If you were willing to wait this long, just let me finish the combo.
I am exodia player too...I am annoyed instead because we gonna gain less rewards...we gain an huge 3k points for special victory 200 points for 1-5 cards in the deck and 500 points for no cards...we might gain gems with these 3-4 more rewards Btw if my opponent is using a meta deck instead I am annoyed because I can't overkill him...mainly tri brigate/drytron/pk/syncro spam players...they deserve to get overkilled by me that draw my whole deck...I ll shuffle back the exodia pieces if I can to be sure to draw the whole deck

But I will for sure tell players to add the "One day of Peace" card and replace it for one of the "Magical stones"
Anyways that is my slight Different build that I ended up with (Funny enough I set up the night before I saw this video). Almost the Same but with a two card difference.
I am playing exodia on platinum I would never play a list that auto lose because hand trap on library...i even tried to play only 2 library because I want be independent on that card and less library less brick lmao
Btw I play 2 cup of aces...I removed them at the end I m using again...that card is heavely understimated but if this list istant die by 1 hand trap you can't afford make your opponent draw
At 15:55 I would have been better to use magical stone sending the mallet and the bamboo stick and using to to grab back the bamboo stick you sent and searching golden stick with bamboo stick you sent since then you would have been able to use the spells getting up too 3 counters and drawing a card and having a bamboo stick on the field for other golden sticks and also gold stick eff to draw 2 cards which means you would have ended up drawing the same amount of cards while keeping a stone in your hand and having a bamboo stick on the field for more golden sticks
TLDR: instead of mallet at 15:55 use magic stone sending mallet and stick cus it would’ve ended on same amount or draws (-1 spell counter) but also a magic stone in your hand and a bamboo stick on the field for any gold sticks you draw.
I think my main hesitation with the Panda version is that it loses to Maxx C while the other ones don't, but I'd be open to trying it
@@Dzeeff What is the best way to share you my decklist? I have a build i'm pretty proud of after many many hours of testing and tweaking. But you are right in that it adds two more handtraps to watch out for: nibiru and sometimes maxx C. maxx C isn't that bad if they don't run nib or don't draw veiler/imperm before your first saryuja. generally I found that after you make saryuja, you are stable enough to survive though imperm/ash. also helps that saryuja can summon a second panda.
@@wingzerovsepyon I would suggest Neuron, especially now that they added the Master Duel tag..
Very probably they used destiny draw or dark world deal
Every exodia deck that auto lose with hand trap on library is really bad for ladder
Yu-Gi-Oh in the Anime: Exodia!? Impossible!!
Yu-Gi-Oh in real life: Ugh ffs, not again.
Deez: "Don't craft the Exodia pieces."
Me: "First things I crafted when I got the CM in Master Duel."
I've been playing a very similar Exodia deck. I've went from bronze to plat last season, now I'm trying to get to plat 1 with it
I still use this deck for Solo mode even after several months. It does brick, but is great for quickly getting half the duel rewards.
D's commitment to making his opponents miserable to truly commendable
I really wish they would put once per turn restrictions on into the void, upstart, and allure of darkness, nothing feels worse than being ftk by deck out or exodia decks.
Nah normally people are ok play against exodia hoping an easy win
Hey man the other day when I spectated a match for the Daily Mission I saw your match with Exodia which you won on the first turn! Nice!~
the players that let you execute your turns, i have respect for.
Exodia is Dzeeff’s new Altergiest
It’s funny how cards nearly 30 years old are basically still winning in modern duels
okay, that is consistent. played three rounds and won. 10/10 would use again.
in one turn always?
@@kantofps825 nope, there are apparently limits to the heart of the cards.
I didn't know about that achievement. Not gonna scoop for my opponents now if they try to bring back exodia. just gonna turn my thing off and go use the bathroom and shit
lmao
And you will lose for time lmao they may have cards that force you interact...btw you can be enough sure that they may need achievement if they are maximum gold 3

You might want to consider playing 1 Numeron Network, 1 Numeron Calling, 1 Memories of hope and a Saryuja in this, just to see more cards. Also getting a Numeron-core is worth it, those cards are just the nuts.
You can't play those and Library in the same deck
@@Dzeeff Does Library conflict with Calling? I did not remember that.

You could combine servant of endymion to get a third library as well
Great idea, I think I might want to use summoner monk instead but this is a great suggestion
Played this deck When the vid first came out was alot of fun lol, Any changes since then or a new deck list? Great content much love :P
I can't wait for the next Master Duel Series "This Jackpot-7 Deck is broken"
I can't remember the last time I saw someone actually playing cursed seal...
Never in 500 games
been playing this deck for a while now. it sometimes bricks hard but most of the time you can salvage a bad hand and win games
Have you considered running DARK pendulums and the pot that shuffles banished cards back into the deck? It feels a lot more consistent to me
Oh this was fun to watch! It does look like a fun deck to mess with
I made a exodia for when i just dont whant to play and just farm winning bonus because if u get Lucky u just win and get 3 bonus if your oponent dont give up u get 5 bonus or 6 if u have low life point its just nice to do on the side to get ticket gem and bad old card if u whant them for some reason
how about Pseudo Space and Contract with Don Thousand? would those cards be good in this deck?
Could you please consider putting a link to or including the deck list in the description? It's a lot easier to follow text when trying to copy decks from a video format lol
What's your opinion on Flower deck?? Trying to use it fo ex zero festival and it's not working...
I think people would forfeit less if you put cards in your extra deck. Personally I think seeing an empty stone slab next to the opponent's hand is very intimidating, but I also haven't been playing this game for very long at all
edit: nevermind i just read the effect of the one pendulum monster
I like Solomon moto’s exodia deck, you can actually play against it and it requires strategy and encourages others to try and outplay you
I don't mind watching a long combo to get to a win condition, I just get pissed when someone ALREADY has the win in place and they're still comboing off. If you have lethal on board, END IT. Anything else is BM.
What are the cards you are using? I wanna try this deck

Look, I choosed to collect your own deck and give it a try, it is a really unique deck but as you said it doesn't always work, and I noticed that it's very luck dependent, but I loved it and in fact, I will continue to use it, thanks for your help and you have a new subscriber
dzeef have u tried the synchro exodia deck? it uses TG librariran to keep drawing
hope for escape is better i made a deck like that like almost 10 years ago revolving around hope for escape to pull exodia. its rare to get a brick hand and its even rarer to lose
I think the Ash was good there, in the last game, honestly.
Given that it managed to turn a good hand into "well I hope I draw a spell else I lose".
I always let an Exodia player do their whole combo. I mean, come on, it's just common courtesy.
no its not its a waste of my time, I scoop and move on. Not wasting my time for a guaranteed loss because I dont have a handtrap.
I swear Doug is being held hostage by Solomon Muto.
I know you mentioned stepping away from exodia but you seen the level resist wall exodia deck list?
Exodia videos always make me happy.
I can only imagine the high people get when they play Exodia and win.
I prefer heroin but exoida works too
I won so much with exodia and I crafted and updated the deck so many times that I am surprised that I lose if no interruption lmao...tbf I am even more surprised if the opponent don't have an usable ht here in platinum league
I just started the game a few days ago. Played rank, saw library and knew I lost. But I let them have it and let them get their exodia. It was the 3rd to last card though lol
Honestly I like using the ace monster cards and cup of ace it always give me 2 cards it's like a 90% garentee draw imo.
Liking the longer video, keep it up
May I suggest using Performapal Guitartle? and another Performapal to bring out the other Libraries
So does card of demise just not exist anymore or what
Good question
im a new player here, and can i clarify something? is surrender called scoop? because the enemy scoops their cards up and leave?
some tips about running this deck please? i'm trying to use it in solo duel but i can never get all five pieces.
I've heard there's no animations for other alt wincons like Destiny Board, Vennominaga, Flying Elephant etc, but are there titles for them like Exodia has or did Exodia get all the special treatment while the others have been left to play in the flowerbeds outside the window?
One Maxx "C" can always give you a hope if you go second.
I have to respectfully disagree. Exodia is definitely worth crafting if you already have another deck for competitive play. The amount of fun I had playing this deck by far outweighs the amount of fun I had trying to play a sweaty comp deck.
not to mention exodia will have many staple draw cards which makes most decks faster especially for casual scrubs like me
Are you gonna still show off that Fortune Lady Exodia deck in a video after this also? Would be nice to have on record, even if it sucked
I just start reading a book when facing Exodia (or any long combo decks).
I love th new look of forbidden exodia ( Md )
Ive been running this deck and honestly it still bricks. I dropped one Golden Bamboo Sword, ive been bricking with 3. Also subbed in a Foolish burial and a monster reborn to get into Magical Library faster
unless you have 35 pot of greeds in your deck, exodia ALWAYS has the chance to brick by opening 3 to 4 exodia pieces...
Someone needs to show this to Ross
Can you not use Pseudo Space in master duels? Would pair that with Chicken Game.
I’m curious, is there a way to build an Exodia deck for going second?
Triple Maxx C, the five exodia pieces and an opponent willing to take the Maxx C challenge.
What my precursor said but also its not impossible to somewhat play around at least a few of the commonly seen boards with exodia decks. Or i am just bad at yugioh and thats why so many people beat me with exodia going second against my full combo shenanigans
Also, the more I think about it, maybe it wouldn’t hurt to have a copy or two of Called by the Grave to deal with ash or veiler.
You can anyway deal pierce damage directly attack or burn damage or just give a card on the opponent field...crooked cook is not that powerful
I've been at 3/5 for the demon title since the game launched. People really just scoop as soon as they think they're going to lose. It truly sucks.
Those Jiffy Scoops lol. Never scoop against Exodia. They will either pull it off or brick midway through.
I play Exodia on master duel. I find it super annoying when people surrender right before you pull the last piece. If you were willing to wait this long, just let me finish the combo.
I am exodia player too...I am annoyed instead because we gonna gain less rewards...we gain an huge 3k points for special victory 200 points for 1-5 cards in the deck and 500 points for no cards...we might gain gems with these 3-4 more rewards
Btw if my opponent is using a meta deck instead I am annoyed because I can't overkill him...mainly tri brigate/drytron/pk/syncro spam players...they deserve to get overkilled by me that draw my whole deck...I ll shuffle back the exodia pieces if I can to be sure to draw the whole deck
