I love how the “trade offer” negotiations are basically an actual part of the process now. Its so fun watching them try to mind game each other and guess what the other needs/wants, what they crafted, etc.
@@MeriliremI can understand that. Of course, I personally don't mind how they sometimes trade. They don't always do it because there are times where they'd rather not want the other to get what they want too...
Doug can do “hide choice” after a spin to remove it from the wheel. Doesn’t seem like there’s any point to not remove them after they are spun during the episode.
It's funny that MBT goes into the floo pack after saying "I've actually been thinking about how to build a deck with only Toucan" and then pulls 0 Toucan. Losing to Suijin effect is hilarious.
I thought the BO3 was over, scrolled down to the comments to participate in the conversation, saw this, went "wait, Doug doesn't have any more plays, right?", and scroll back up just in time to see the final attack.
What’s funny is those bird things from Star Wars actually WERE PUFFINS. They were filming on an island so chock full of them that they couldn’t clear the set- so they painted them over with CG as little guys cause it was cheaper than erasing them
Mbt always gets Doug to ask for the specific crafting materials. Somehow he’s in the drivers seat with negotiations even when he needs the cards more 😂
The trade offers are the most fun part of those videos, maybe you should try and come up with a series where you have an imaginary budget and try to auction nesserary cards of each other to construct a deck or something Call it a Duelist's market or Trade duels ?
It's such a minor change but I really appreciate removing redundancy by changing "Welcome back to Master Roulette! Tune in every Saturday for new episodes of Master Roulette!" to just "Welcome back to Master Roulette! New episodes posted every Saturday!"
I went into the Floo/Simorgh pack and pulled everything for Simorghs and no Floo. Decided to tinker with the Simorgh cards and they're so fun. I love them. Best birds
i just came down to the comment section and the first SIX comments were you, i mean i'm glad you're enjoying the video my dude but did it need 6 comments?
Whenever someone complains about losing the coin toss x times in a row and how statistically unlikely it is, we can just point them to this video now with that opening.
It's so validating to see MBT make the same stupid ass mistake I seem to make every time I run into a GG deck in the wild, and forget that the OG pieces do that
Honestly I would've just let him have the Kashtira Gate Guardian pack at that point. You guys probably need to do a mirror match eventually, since there's currently an odd number of packs on the wheel (and since they don't add Secret Packs as often as Selection Packs, there easily could still be an odd number in 2 weeks)
Make sure for when the VS pack is spun that you use blazblue music instead of guilty gear music. The deck has more blazblue inspiration than anything else
long time since I played Floo, glad yo see it... even though I was annoyed how long it took MBT to simply grab the best card in the deck (the cont spell) in games 2 and 3 - it indirectly cost him game 2, btw
*uses Unexplored Winds* Doug: Omg you can use that twice?! Me: "And this is why I hate that deck. Stop tributing my backrow, and the fact you can is gawd awful game design."
Me for entirety of game 2: "Joseph is in really good position, but his life points are kinda getting low, not the best thing"... and low and behold... that one is for the people who say only life point that matters is the last one, life points ARE a resource, but they arent as meaningless as people usually think them to be
Most of the Joker 2 appreciation club is made of people that do what is now kind of the Rick and Morty response of "you just don't get it", artsy crowd. Technically speaking, it is a "well made" movie but it is an awful sequel to Joker. Then again, this is the director of the Hangover and part 2 so.... Even without the whole "he didn't want to make the sequel but they threw enough money at him" thing, track record is like a solo mode deck.
Unlucky that Doug just never drew the few Kash cards he was running. Even just ending his turn with a single Fenrir might have been enough to completely shut down MBT.
I keep thinking about it, but perhaps the trade offers (that we get just about everytime) should simply be a thing in the rules at this point, and you'd keep the negotiation going until the player desperate enough to get the card bringing their strategy together gets swindled to hell and back. You know, some of that American capitalist spirit. Also perhaps unlimited format?
I'm gonna say it, I dislike the trade offers. I prefer seeing you make the best out of dogshit pulls over watching a standard Floo combo. The negotiations are fun but I think the sealed gameplay actually suffers.

I don't like them myself. Turns the RNG into a suggestion which goes against the whole point of it.
@@MeriliremI can understand that.

mbts idle animation being him juggling a single banana with one hand is the most mbt thing possible
damn, the universe REALLY wanted mbt to play kashitra gate gaurdian

After the third, I was honestly expecting Doug to just say "fine, we'll mirror match"

38:16 that is the best moment in this series holy crap that was beautiful
You can't convince Me the wheel isn't rigged with the first 3 minutes of the video.
Dzeef just forgot to turn off the hax.
Funny thing is, I'm pretty sure that wheel has an option to remove the last thing that got spun. Or am I misunderstanding what "hide choice" does?
Mbt always gets Doug to ask for the specific crafting materials. Somehow he’s in the drivers seat with negotiations even when he needs the cards more 😂
That's how you know he's read art of the deal
Mr Zeeff truly is the master of the wheel. This series is so good. Life just wouldn't be the same without a spin a week.
Doug outing simorgh: "That fucking bird that I hate"
The fact MBT got the Kashtira/ Gate Guardian pack almost 6 times is crazy. It's like the universe wanted a mirror match
I'm pretty sure that accepting the trade offer, no matter how dire one's own need is, has always led directly to defeat.
The trade offers are the most fun part of those videos, maybe you should try and come up with a series where you have an imaginary budget and try to auction nesserary cards of each other to construct a deck or something

In another universe, we got a KASHTIRAGATEGUARDIANPACK mirror.
methinks the trade offer was not the best idea we've ever had
He really did bad the negotiation, he should have played as he did not need anything at the beginning 😢
I love how Doug's luck shifts. He either owns master saga this season and flops roulette. Or he owns roulette and flops saga. Gotta love consistency

Favorite episode yet. Everything was hilarious from the pulls, to the trade negotiations, to MBT killing himself with Suijin. Fuckin fantastic 10/10 😂
Truly snatching defeat from the beak of victory
watching the haggling was the highlight of the video
Mirror Match! That would solve the odd number of packs left as well
It would've been sooo perfect to have a mirror match

I think it's fair to say that this was the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever
Doug should get a cat cam
I need to see his cat holding out it's paw to be held

I'm really glad this series is back.
And this is why you read cards, folks. Otherwise you end up killing yourself with attacks.
I hecking love the edit references on master roulette, crush cards know his stuff
I remember seeing Dark Simorgh in Monarch decks and I also think a couple of times in a Blackwing deck, when I last played YGO irl from 2010-2012.
I love how these episodes have slowly devolved into intense haggling sessions right before deckbuilding.
Loving this❤ I watch each week
That thumbnail makes me excited.
The trade negotiations are one of the best developments of the series
Absolutely love the trade offers as always.
The trade offers are the best parts of these

This has just reminded me how much I want to see more Simorgh cards. Unfortunately, Floo just is a little better.
God Floo is the worst to play against lol
God, this would have been so much easier for MBT if he just played Bird of Ancestry. Or that he was capable of object permanence.
