Hey Joe - so I saw this vanquish volante for sale at GC motors in Harrogate a few weeks ago and after the usual procrastination I decided to trade in my Vantage roadster. I then went searching for vanquish videos and found this one. I thought- that looks just like the one I’ve bought - and of course it is! So glad your review of my new car was so positive - gets delivered tomorrow - I’m the most excited 57 year old on the planet tonight. Keep up the great videos mate

No problem! The upload is at 60fps, which will be a larger sized than 1080p at 30fps, If you changed your render settings to 1080p 30fps it should actually come out with a lower file size and will look better! As 1080p is a better thing to have than the extra frames per second :)
Ohhhh well that makes sense! I'm useless with tech, maybe I should just change my GoPros to record in 30fps instead of 60, that will probably do the same right? Then I can upload in 1080 :-)
What is you preferred contact method? I have sent you a friend request via facebook as couldn't think of another way of messaging other than on this! I have some ideas :)

You are sold on that then Joe :) Lovely car and nice "real world" review - you drive and describe these things as I would really. Always look in Slades - it's a rest point on a cycle route I do. Recognised the roads on another of your vids - my friend lives in Denham, where we always start our cycle routes! Rather be in the AM than on my bike!! Again - great vid :)

Very different cars with different price points but similar-ish performance. On paper the M2 is ahead but in the real world it would be interesting. I took delivery of mine a month ago. I'm an ex E90 M3 owner.
+Steve Green Well the M2 isn't delayed by a whole year in terms of delivery. Focus RS has transmission problems and a differential that can't handle the abuse.

There are speculations as to how much power the Rear Drive Unit will accept when tuners start bumping the power up but I've not heard of any failures. Excessive track work can cause a warning light to throw up on the dash and requires an oil change in the RDU.
Steve Green TheSmokingTire's Focus RS got delayed without explanation and my friend who works at Ford in Michigan said the R&D team is struggling to make the front and rear diffs work without overheating and turning itself into molten metal
Genuinely, I was most surprised by how easy it was to drive & what a great everyday tool it would be, even down to how easily the door open/close. In drive & without sport pressed it's so docile & comfortable, knock it into sport/manual and she becomes a totally different wild animal! Decent size boot too, only thing I didnt really get to test was actual mpg, I cant imagine that figure would be much higher than 16/17 on the combined... If I won 8-10 million on the lottery tomorrow I would have one in my 10 car line up haha
