The cheapest one out there in UK looks like £115,900. Vanquish would ask F-type R "Who's your daddy?" Very similar car, F-type just a little, or a lot, cheaper. And I guess that's why you fell in love with it. You drive your car everyday, so I think you better end up with a "comfortable" supercar than just a quickest car you can afford.
If you see a supercar for sale at a significantly lower price than other similar models: don't buy it. Most of the time it's either because it has been trashed, crashed or poorly maintained.
and then gtr fanboys say that the r34 is the most beautiful car in the world... this one is not only one of the most beautiful cars ever, I think it's also the most beautiful aston ever made
I love the vanquish, it's such a good looking car and one of my top 5 dream cars, love the video. in the video u said that u would probably like the f type replacement to mid engine, which got me thinking, what cars would fit into your 'bugdet' with this ive come up with a couple cars that would be pretty good considerations; 2016 Audi r8 v10 plus 2012-2015 porsche 911 turbo s (more of a GT car, and it's rear engined) 2012 McLaren 12c All of these car are between £100000 - £150000 for the cheapest ones and it would be pretty awesome to see u own a supercar/supersports car
Sam, why not replace the F-Type with a 911 Carrera GTS? Its good to live with every day and will happily hoon its way down a twisty mountain road and is also easy to live with every day.
A list of more "comfortable" grand touring type of supercars/high-end sports cars I can think of.(and likely your budget allows) 2013-15 Audi R8 V10 plus: £75K-90K mid engine and great V10 sound, looks and feels like a supercar, but pretty much do-it-all. 2009-11 Ferrari California: £90K-105K a little old. a grand tourer, sound is pretty much the same as 430. some feel *too comfortable* for a Ferrari. 2014-16 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS: £90K-£105K quite new. definitely more comfortable than track toys like GT3 and GT3-RS. a deceptively fast car. NA flat 6 sounds nice. 2013-14 Porsche 911 Turbo: £95K-£105K defined as a grand tourer by Porsche, therefore its ride quality is good, despite of possessing ridiculous acceleration, even as a "non-S".

Quit watching after the tunnel runs. Barely even floored it and no downshifts? Come on. Never watched this channel before but the first 4 minutes were boring due to it mainly just being fast forwarded shots, not a fan. Props on getting your hands on a sweet vanquish though.
Funny how I noticed the vanquish has the same "clicky" sounding paddle shifters as the Z06 does...Wasn't even mentioned, but that's none of my business...

But, at least for me they don't excite the soul. Astons, well, most of them are beautiful cars. However, they don't stir the soul and ignite the fire making me lust for them. I also enjoy Doug DeMuro's youtube video's and he recently did a "reactions on the street" about the older Aston he has been driving. Kinda nailed the feeling. Now, a bright color, better exhaust, rims etc might change that as you just don't see many Astons like that.

that aston seems amazing! if you have the time whilst being in L.A., go to the Griffith observatory. it is located a few miles east of the hollywood sign. there a re some nice roads there (do keep an eye out for cops), and if you are there during sunset, it is the most amazing place to be at, looking over downtown L.A. and the entire L.A. area! great for photos of the cars as well.
You say you're looking for a mid engined super-sports car, which to me sounds like the Mclaren 570s. While you're in LA, hit up Mike tornabene, a fellow RUclipsr with a beautiful 570s
Hey See Through Glass you should consider the Acura NSX if you are looking for semi-affordable mid engine super car. It is a hybrid so will great on fuel, which is great for a daily driver and you don't see a lot of them! Just my opinion when hearing you talking about a replacement for your F-Type this video.

Brian Cooley of CNET.com hated it. He said the same about the windscreen glare and the dated info screen. Also, who in their right mind puts the drive selector like that and why is the key fob way up there in the center?! You couldn't get in the back seat? Ridiculous car! Sorry but thumbs down on this one.
Sam I think you should atleast test drive one in the UK before you go all out to go down the mid engine route after all Aston Martin are Jaguar's sister company
personally i never understood why people like that exact colour on that Aston. anybody knows why? its not metallic, neither its matte, it's a terrible finish and paint colour.
Problem with Aston Matins is that the put Bang and Olufsen stereos in them. I don't think I could live with a British car that had a Bang and Olufsen stereo.

A brilliant looking car, but seems behind the times. Steering wheel is ugly. The centre media is old & dated, the Speedo is old, maybe digital would be cool.
the reflection of the red leather on the interior side of the windshield from the dash isn't an Aston ONLY issue. I have a corvette z06 and also an audi and its just that the reds and blues reflect on the window. Tan never did.
His next car is either gonna be an aston martin maybe a v8 or v12 vantage or a Maserati gran turismo.Maybe even an r8 or a Ferrari 360 (its not expensive for a ferrari its the best Ferrari for the money)
Why don't you see if you can lease one? Won't have to worry about depreciation and when you're ready to get something different you won't have to worry about finding a buyer

Normally I'm not a big fan of red leather but I have to say it works really in that Aston, especially contrasted with the black leather.
