I watch videos of people making them and they make it look so simple with the butter, sugar, and almond flour, but when I tried making them I made the cookie part first and I followed all the directions but when they came out of the oven my cookies were literally flat stickers and they didn’t rise at all lol. One of these days I’ll try again but it’s good to know that I’m not the only one who has a hard time with making them 😅. I hope the birthday party went great! Love your videos! ❤️😃

Using a cake pan belt should help prevent the caramelisation around the edges! My cakes looked like this when I first started out...gets better with time ☺️
I agree, when she said it was vanilla, and then cut into it...i was shocked. Looked a bit dry. Glad she added the simple syrup. Looked beautiful though.

A great tip for Spring form pans is to put the base in upside down, it creates less of a bump :)
