I think it will look better with the clean lines. It's unfortunate that people arent listening to the video or reading the comments before complaining.
I have been watching a ton of your videos and find your technique logical and very helpful. I like that you narrate to explain your technique and also you list your tools of the trade in your links. Great work. I do have a question. I recently cracked open a thirty year old tamiya BMW M635csi 1/24 kit which I had partially started many years ago and discovered that the one piece clear window and windshield part has a crack on the side window. Actually it's simply split due to probably being in storage and is now somewhat brittle due to it's age. What's your recommendation for attempting to repair the cracked part. Thank you.
lol, I see in the credits that you played the "All round good guy" in this movie. Careful playing those roles, you don't want to get type cast! hehe. Great video. I like the fender bulges on this kit. Great idea taking out the rear roof ridge!
It collects a verry little amount of paint everytime i pull the trigger, and eventualy starts to splatter. Might be because of a bent needle or something. But i just took it off, and it was fixed
I know, but as mentioned in the video at 3:18 i simply don't like it. And on the other hand, its just a model car. not an actual one ;) Keep that in mind.
Awesome work, as always. Wanted to ask, the brush holder/stand that you have there, did you make that yourself? I made one myself and was just curious.
the high spot was a homologation special for the M3 road car too. Not sure was wise to remove, better read up more on cars you do up. Sure it will be a nice model though
No need to read up on this. I am fully aware the actual car has this aswell. if you watch the video, and specificaly at 3:18 you hear me saying that i know the real M3 E30 EVO has this ridge aswell. But i simply don't like it ;) Thanks for the heads up though.
1nshal Abbasi the purpose it to see where the mold lines are locted. And when you start sanding them off the marker is removed. Once the marker is gone, so is the mold line
If you could comment in english that would be much easier for everyone else to read aswell. I used the black marker to show me the spots i need to fix or remove. When the marker is gone. the spot i want to have fixed is ready.
it would be deadly if ya done it like the rothmans bmw of the late 80s. manufacturers only 3 series to have won a world rally. gxi 851 I think the plate was. bmw offered the owner a blank cheque for it a number of years ago. He turned them down. could check out the car. Patrick snijers i think was previous owner to abuse it around the isle of man. now owned by denis cronin in Ireland
Would love to see your completed car collection!
me too
Great looking kit. Looking forward to building one on my channel! Keep up the great work

Love how this one turns out. Got this kit. Not shure yet if it will be a dtm or a street/track car. Love your channel 👍
Nice video, what wheelbase has?

awesome can't wait to see it finished
You are one of the best model car builders! Great clip
CarManiac 3 the best*
good work, what spru nippers are those? I'm looking for some like those that cuts flush.
those are from Tamiya. Pretty pricey, but well worth it.
Buen trabajo 👍,admiro tus vídeo,un saludo desde España 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What model is this ? I would love to get one

well, i'm also playing left and right hand, so it can go either direction XD
looks awesome
Are those Tamiya sprue cutters? I've heard good things about them.
+WikdSeafood yes
i notice you don't use the needle crown on your airbrush, is there a specific reason for that? or just you preference. Performance any different.
It collects a verry little amount of paint everytime i pull the trigger, and eventualy starts to splatter. Might be because of a bent needle or something. But i just took it off, and it was fixed
I like your videos. But you totally screwed that model by removing the roof piece of the rear pillar. It's one of the defining features of an e30 m3
I know, but as mentioned in the video at 3:18 i simply don't like it. And on the other hand, its just a model car. not an actual one ;) Keep that in mind.
I dont remove mold lines because i feel like it doesnt really make a big difference and i am still a beginner so
Awesome work, as always. Wanted to ask, the brush holder/stand that you have there, did you make that yourself? I made one myself and was just curious.
RV S i did not make it myself, i got it with my airbrush
Isn't 600 grit sand paper a bit heavy for the body before primer? Shouldn't be better like 1500 or 2000 grit?
In my case 600 is good since i use a micro filler primer. You could also use higher grits, but it will tak a lot longer to scuff the body.
Micro filler primer, that said everything. Thank you

what is the number of grid of the sandinh sticks? 800? 600? Cant wait for the next part!
1 side it roughly 300 grit, the other is about 400 grit
Saubere Arbeit! 👍👍👍 Aber, die Wulst oder Absatz auf dem Dach hatte der M3 tatsächlich!
This car has to be white, grey or red 👍
Dieselkraft - Let's Plays OR black

Sorry bro,but what is the purpose of using permanent marker & then erasing it?
1nshal Abbasi the purpose it to see where the mold lines are locted. And when you start sanding them off the marker is removed. Once the marker is gone, so is the mold line
The Scalemodeling Channel oh thanks
Make it white with the m stripes running sideways over the body

а для чего вы маркером обводите?
