"No we won't" followed by the Courier destroying everything in the Hidden Valley seems way hilarious to me fr 😂
😂 thought I would really rub it in, wearing my new Elder threads
Oh my heck that killed me
When you're Lucifer reincarnate, it would be a disappointment to do anything else.
I'm not going to lie the courier did get double crossed shot and have to claw his way out of a shallow grave a short time prior to this I seriously doubt he's going to trust any metal clad strangers demanding he be strip searched.
why did you add the cringe "fr"

Courier's honest reaction: 🤨
Courier: *Anime Flashbacks to him killing everything in the Hidden Valley Bunker* 🗿 Yeah about that...
@@Ostr0 The courier is basically a god. Have you ever thought about how you can annihilate the most skilled and powerful of the wasteland without so much as a second thought? @@Dedelblute3 Yeah we all know dude. Weirdo

Agreed with that mate.
The NCR is just as evil as the Legion.
They both:
Assimilate tribes
Subjugate surrounding populations
Make use of slave labor
Commit atrocities in and out of battles

@@KroonFelix But the Legeon would have subjugated every tribe from the Colorado river to California at least by then the volume of the human wave they could put out would be unstoppable also every person subjugated by the legion would be 1 less tax payer for the NCR

i always help the brotherhood. Specifically the hard annoying vault fetch quest way. Because we love the bos
I love the courier just staring with subtitles
"I killed every single one of the fully armed and armored people in the bunker"
"Well, me in my rags can take you!"
“You got some fuckin’ balls kid, I’ll give ya that.”
I do the quest and then wipe out every single person in the bunker for the Gauss rifles, love those things
Ahh good oh Felicia Day voice acting Veronica. I still remember having such a crush for Felicia. And then hearing her voice in NV threw me in a complete loop.
Its literally
"You took EVERYTHING from me!"
"....I dont even know who you are"
Veronica was my favorite companion. She tried to join an outpost of the followers of the apocalypse, but brotherhood slaughtered them so I pumped up kicks in their base and blew them the fuck up. Veronica was mad and i was sad but it had to be done.
One plasma grenade.
It took one plasma grenade to kill all 3 of them on the spot
“I think they can handle themselves”
"You really did kill them didnt you?"
You bet your sweet bippy I did
Veronica isn’t very smart, “what? You killed the entirety of the brotherhood? Guess I’m gonna start punching you”
I actually just went through their quest line last night up until power armor training, then I stole the self destruct keys and activated it.
I dealt with them by convincing them to help Caesar and by convincing Caesar they’d be useful
I did exactly what they told me to because I found their base by accident while trying to walk straight to New Vegas and avoiding the pack of death claws I think they put a bomb on my neck too which really inspired me to do exactly as they asked
I self destructed the base with Veronica in it. After I dismissed her using the Gun Runner's terminal I went to talk to her and it was like the whole event didn't happen.
I never met Veronica in my first playthrough and this is exactly what happened.
It’s kinda weird to think that for some people on their first play trough, Veronica was just some random girl at 188 that just attacks you for seemingly no reason if you kill the BOS not realizing she’s a potential companion and has a whole quest line.
Personally, I accepted their terms initially, then later used my 100 Science skill to cause their bunker to self-destruct, while I spammed Turbo and sprinted to safety.
Veronica Is almost the only reason I'm nice to The brotherhood.
I killed the brotherhood for house, but first I got close to them, then I hacked their turrets, took every drug in the game, and cleared them out.
my dude felt bad so after laying around fried on med-x and ect, I left for the Sierra Madre after hearing a broadcast promising new beginnings, funny enough I met Veronica on the way there. I kept my dead of killing her fam a secret.
I told her they were criminals before recruiting the BoS for the battle of Hoover Dam
If you really want to piss off the BOS, just erase the lower bump of the B and snicker at them when they figure it out
I joined them, you know, power armour
It’s funny, I killed the BOS with a ballistic fist, having no idea it was Veronica’s trademark.
My first playthrough that route was the one i took to Vegas lmao.
now we will never have that ranch recipe😢
I used to have a somewhat positive view of the Mojave Brotherhood but when I found they killed the Followers at the outpost I may have engaged in some chicanery.
I *always* join the Brotherhood.
Ad Victoriam
I did the whole brotherhood storyline and had max rep but I was doing ncr so I had to blow them up and it set my rep to the good natured rascal. After I got Veronica she asked to go to the brotherhood and I just started laughing
She's important if you want to have all of the human followers
This was my first interaction with Veronica. I was like, “Geez, what’s her problem?”
Even with the amount of times i payed this i always missed her lol the only reason i found out about her is from a fan make story about FONV
I normally clean house on them.
Considering how they treated her and Christine I don't know why still feels any love for them.
Last time I played I just left them alone
Just finished the FO tv show and now it makes it more clear why house wanted the BOS dead. People like Veronica are the exceptions to their society.
Courier: I killed them all.
Veronica: “You’re not lying are you?”
Courier: I killed them all. What part didn’t you understand?
It's kinda weird that Veronica would immediately believe that a single dude could wipe out an entire Brotherhood chapter
It can't be too rare to hear deranged bullshit like that from slightly crazy wastelanders
Phixate and Habibi! Hell yeah!!🔥
Well maybe i like joining the brotherhood and using funny power armor to capture old war technology while blasting anyone who gets in my way with lasers and gauss rounds, forget the story i have a duty to fulfill for the brotherhood
Nah but really I've always liked the BOS even if they're not really full on good guys even in the capital wasteland and the Commonwealth even if they help defeat the enclave. They're bad(ish) guys in a different way. While the enclave are flat evil the brotherhood just have intentions that everyone appreciates for good reason, they affectivity hoard old world technology for their own power.
I mostly do the NCR playthrough in New Vegas, and I almost always used to Ally the Brotherhood and the Republic together. But since the release of the Fallout show, I've started destroying them. Sick to death of the brotherhood, the NCR was whooping that ass and sent them into retreat, but all of a sudden vault-tec launches a nuclear weapon on Shady Sands and the Brotherhood comes from the East coast?
Brothehood of NOT-SHIT 😔🤞
First time I went there as a kid they attacked me on sight because I had on NCR ranger armour, ended up recruiting veronica ages later didn't put 2 and 2 together when I was a kid I just thought there was some absolute Chad's living in the hidden valley that I couldn't kill. Went there with her when I was more powerful and she was getting pissed of that I was killing everyone and I didnt understand why 🤣
Bitch was helping me kill them 🤣
If it wasn't for veronica, the brotherhood would get destroyed every playthrough
i helped the brotherhood for Veronica
Sorry Cass with different clothes but they were slavers.
what chance did she think she had against the person who slaughtered her entire chapter
I feel like if you were a person in fallout you would have at least 8 charisma
I would *_NEVER_* betray the BOS!!
I wanted power armor. Lots of power armor.
I don't know why but it's funny to me 😂😂
I joined them, and got rid of the original elder. And then I made NCR leave them alone. BoS is my favorite faction for role-playing purposes. If I was in the fallout universe, I would want to exterminate all the mutants and abominations. I don't agree with their isolationist politics and hoarding technology but nobody's perfect. Plus if they're not helping the wastelanders they're not terrorizing them either. So they are the only perfectly morali gray faction. Just like most of us really are IRL
Ave, True to Caesar
Veronica is my favourite companion thats why I don't wipe out the bunker before the story mode.
Plus i want the power armour training before im going into old world blues and loansome road.
Do the remnants quest before you even meet the brotherhood so when you get to the point where elder McNamara is gonna teach you, you can say “I already know how to use power armor” then he’s like “no fuckin way dude your gonna have to tell me that story sometime” it’s a cool little tidbit obsidian added to the game that makes me chuckle at my hidden dad lore the brotherhood doesn’t know abt me before I met them

They're good weapons/ammo merchants,
they're not openly hostile, and their quests provide good playthrough time (although is mostly "go fetch" stuff) and they give some precious XP for those task... But I'm ok with that.
Their lore on FNV is very well constructed, showing the inability of the BoS to adapt to those new times. How they became so obsolete, and I found that interesting.
It pains me to admit it, but I don't believe the Mojave Chapter of the BoS has many chances to survive, not with the NCR or the Legion around. But I won't be the one to made them extinct.
I wish they could be more like the BoS under Elder Lyons in FO3. They can still follow their original plan, and make a positive impact on the world at large, even making allies
@@daviddragonheart6798nah I like a couple different takes on the brother hood not all of them gotta be good guys
@@daviddragonheart6798 I'm not sure how versed you're on the lore of Fallout, but the Lyon's Chapter of the BoS is the actual *opposite* of what really is the Brotherhood Of Steel.
Fallout 3 show us the one and only Chapter who dared to take the Codex and use it as toilet paper, contradicting many of the tenets within. The comparison is evident after playing FO3, and then speaking extensively about the Brotherhood with Veronica (and partly with Father Elijah) on FNV.
Fallout, Fallout 2, and even Fallout 4 shows a better picture of the original idea of the Brotherhood (albeit the BoS from FO4 had a more direct, militaristic approach).
In fact, the Brotherhood Outcasts are the *real* Brotherhood on FO3, behaving how they really are, most of the times.
Helping local communities?
Distribution of clean water?
Using Pre-War tech against some danger for the Wasteland and their people?
Is it true they had to step about those situations, one way or another, usually as the only faction capable to turn the tables. But that requires the intervention of the PC (the Vault Dweller, the Chosen One, etc.) because they won't take part otherwise, even less if there's no gain for them.
I really like Lyons and what he did with his Chapter, but he's not the Brotherhood, sadly.
@@battlebacon1442 They're actually indifferent, most of the times.
Unless some third party convince them to act "for the better good" which is a take they follow by default on Fallout 4.
Otherwise, they're not good nor bad.
Their task forbids them to take action on such matters.
I disagree to an extent they can at least survive better under the NCR Peace Treaty you can make happen. McNamara is willing to see reason and change his brotherhood for the better. Hardin the head paladin isn't willing to, if he's made Elder.
What makes she think she can kill the one who killed her entire family, like, you gotta be more smart than that, you're the one in danger, not me
veronica doesn't think
veronica punches
they sent her out to 'get supplies' because her mentor was completely mental and left to go get milk (milk being a massive red cloud of death)
"They must have hurt him enough for me to kill him easily" or "All my family and friends are already dead and I will commit sewer slide by trying to end their murderer"
At that point it's less 'Can I beat him ?' And more 'Death or Dishonor !'
Suicide by courier
"You think that of me Veronica?
I am the one who punches!
I am the danger!"
Ain't that a kick in the head😂
Would have been great if she was programmed to recognize brotherhood equipment and approach you about that, or if you’re wearing the Overseer’s uniform like that, recognize that you must have killed him and confront you
Remember boys, a good steel can, is a dead steel can
the meat within should be mechanically separated and preserved appropriately
Veronica vouches for you, you complete their quest and get their support, you do the yes man ending, the NCR is curb stomped by an expeditionary force of the CA chapter, 15 years later we have the Amazon show. Only plot armor can stop them now.
In my last playthrough, I had such a good reputation with the brotherhood that I wasn't vilified after destoying them and Veronica was still cool with following me around.

If you pay attention Independent Vegas without House is the absolute worse Ending for Stability in the Mojave. It's all on who can control Yes Man and the Courier isn't around to do that anymore, so the tribes of New Vegas will go back to infighting soon enough.
Like people bitch about the Fallout show having the NCR get nuked, but an Independent Vegas and how you achieve that makes that possible since you know you kill the Head of State and the Head of the Army, and honestly probably did more damage than just Nuking Shady Sands itself (which if it got nuked that does sorta imply exactly who did it from the Sierra Army Depot, but people forget that theres more than just the Mojave Enclave remnants)

She did not. I watched her punch Watkins head off during the fight, It turned out as long as I didn't directly talk to her and just used the companion wheel, she'd stay my companion, and only I tried to start dialogue with her would she leave.
Kept her around for a while after, I liked to imagine she was so shellshocked from helping me murder her family she only snapped out of it if I talked to her like a person and not a pack brahmin.
