Luke, i think, as a small project for this series (assuming you decide to survive another 200 days) you should craft a diamond pickaxe and keep it in your inventory for a bit (to lure it into a false sence of security) and then hang it in an item frame over and elaborate fire place to show how much the cause of not mining means to you.
I love how he's stayed so consistent over the years and isn't blasting your ears with "TODAY WE ARE GOING TO BE MAKING A MASSIVE NETHERITE FACTORY IN HARDCORE MINECRAFT" like other youtubers.
Anyone else love listening to Luke's Minecraft 100 days videos while playing Minecraft themselves? every time I get the urge to play this game, it's always nice for some reason to listen to someone else also play Minecraft, I think I do it incase there's some cool idea happens in the videos that I may never have thought of that I can implement into my world. for example the berry bush pit, Crazy and fun idea that Luke just did on a whim but ended up being pretty effective and got me thinking about how I could do something like that in my world. anywho mb for yapping

I’m being dead serious; when I first began playing Minecraft (2012ish pocket edition) I never saw anything that would tell me how to play the game. Because of this, I mistakenly believed that pickaxes didn’t actually obtain stone, and only made it quicker to mine (I didn’t test that theory). I basically did my entire progression in the world for months without mining; built a dirt house, tons of farmland, and had only one furnace made from cobblestone from creepers. I even dug out an entire basement for my house by hand. When I finally decided to get a pickaxe and saw what it did, I was shocked, to say the least 😂
I’ve started a 100 days series that is seen editing free. The whole 100 days and several dozen hours of footage will eventually be uploaded. I’m currently on day 35 about.
