    Wow, thanks man!. I have been taking that thing apart for 4 years to put string in it😳🙄🤔😕!. If only i would have read the manual!🙄😅. Thanks again and glad there is youtube!.✌🏻

    Nice explanation. You were spot on. I know you helped a lot of people. Here is a tip to make your trimmer line last longer. Wet your line and it will be less brittle.

    Thank you so much. I’m a pretty girl maintenance woman but only for my house. This was so helpful. I got tired of people halfway doing my yard so decided to edge it myself and ran out of string. Of course my husband is 71 and not about to try to learn how to or deal with it. So I said you tube teaches you everything. Behold you can through with the perfect tutorial ❤😂

    I wish I would had came across your clip earlier...saw one clip of a guy showing to re-string but had to take out the spool...so I naturally did the same...Me love you long time!

    You a lifesaver we were trying to figure this ish out all summer the yard and stuff done got crazy out here in NC and I’ve been watching videos on how to feed a string in there and all every one says is you have to push the buttons first But you finally broke it down for me you the first one to say just look to make sure you see the light and fit it through then you push the buttons to get it twisted in appreciate Wish Many Blessings On Your Life & Family G

    If you face the head toward the ground when you are winding the string on, it will not wrap around everything. Gravity will keep it hanging toward the ground and tangle free.

    Charlie, great video, just got my Echo, and got very frustrated with trying to replace the trimmer line. And I work for Oregon Chainsaw, so we sell all these stuff. But I’m their global logistics Mngr, so I’m clearly not an expert like you! Thank you again!

    I normally take out the string spool and put the wire throught then put it back on the head you finna save me a lot of time bro!

      I had it aligned. But the string was too curly I guess

    Awesome video and i have to say a little entertaining you are also the first one to ACTUALLY say the direction to turn the head others just say turn it the video can make things appear backwards so Thank You awesome job.

    Oh my gosh! I love this weed eater but I actually had the drive housing upside down and after a couple of minutes the string blew out and I had to start over. THANK you for making it look easy. It's whackin away. I sure wish I'd put 40 feet of string instead of 12! lol

    This is a great tutorial and I did it just like this HOWEVER now when I give full throttle the line lengthens without intending (without bumping bottom) and I have to stop and retract some line. Wondering if tension wasn’t tight enough when putting the line on? Anyone have a suggestion? Thought? Thx 🙏🏽
