I'm 3 years late to the party but I wanted to share my fav dancefloor dnb tracks which are 'Freefall' (Metrik) and 'Snake Eyes' (Feint). Thanks for all the education and knowledge you shared with us Stranjah! I recently started learning Ableton and I watched your Skillshare courses -- they're great!
Great vid and this is my fav style of D&B. Please do a part 2 of this. And to answer your question, I think sub focus x-ray is an all time classic of this style. Always in my DJ sets!! 🎧
@@STRANJAH Should do one on this bass: ruclips.net/video/-VhsMbW6LYQ/видео.html DC Breaks used it on Eleven. Heard it used in other tunes. I always just called it the "Dimension Bass".
This sound has fascinated me since Metrik's Viper days, but has evaded me. Thanks for breaking it down. I find I write one new song for every tutorial you have been doing. I have typically made liquid and experimental, but you are helping me to hop out of the bubble and explore other styles I like. I bought your production kit by the way and have a new jazzy soulful jungle hybrid song developing now. Thanks for that resources. The amen patterns are particularly helpful to see them broken down. Holdin' it down in Stratford Ontario, your tutorial have made Covid times very productive and inspiring for me. Thanks.
That's cool Nathan and thank you for supporting me by buying the kit! I plan to reach out to everyone to send some tracks they've made with it, and do a reaction video to the best ones.
Yo stranjah, you give me a lot of new perspectives on music production and i've learned about the history of DnB, so thanks for sharing all this knowledge, i appreciate it!
This was awesome, I always struggled to bring that 80's vibe to a track as I'd always get lost in Serum and end up making something else. Would love to see more on this if you can. Appreciate you!
You know your first videos you were quite stiff n i don't wanna say nervous but you know what i mean, now though you really seem comfortable and i love that keep up the good work man
thank you for all your hardwork! Your content is great and extremely helpful. Ive been producing for years and recently fell in love with drum and bass. Learning the in and out's of the genre specifics is crucial for learning!
Desire by Sub Focus and Dimension is always a bop. Full Send by 1991 is my personal fave though, ridiculously catchy and boppy. If that is considered commercial DnB anyway.
Big up Stranjah keep the tutorials coming! Voodoo People (Pendulum Mix) double dropped with international (dimension rmx) Remember Friction double drop those 2 tunes a few years back... man can't wait to go raving
started watching a few tutorials in my time off... these are actually the best, most informative, well explained and easy to get to grips with. Thanks !
Thank you for the useful features, I saw this synthesizer in the official video. This producer is very interesting, he is a very positive person. There is a lot to learn on your channel.
@@STRANJAH I would love if you reverse engineered some Dossa and Locuzzed filtered funk and swing styles that sets them apart from the rest of the pack.
Thanks for this man. Commercial wise, Sub Focus - Solar System and Metrik - Hackers have been at the top for a bit, but that changed with Metrik's new LP. Closer and Ex Machina are at the top now. The sound design is Closer tho. Also, some IMANU would be cool. Big up! Keep em coming!
Id love to see what kinda sounds you'd make with DS thorn. I recently scored it for $20 and the sounds it creates are unlike any of my other synths. Seems like a great synth for dnb or bass music in general.

hello! I can't add you effects on a track, shoud I add them to an effect rack?
metrik masterclass link?
I love how you zoom in on what you're doing! Thank you so much for that!
Another funky intro dance 🕺🏻 Keep this up!
thank you!
I hit the like button before even getting to the tutorial just because of the sick dancefloor DnB runnin'man moves.

being late is a non issue as long as you do in fact show up. :)
Pendulum - Tarantula 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

cheers Jonathan, will do!
The intros are getting better and better hahaha. Thanks again with the amazing content
Glad you enjoy it!
Metrik's tutorial is amazing too. Love his approach to creating your own drums.
Yup its a great one, Sub Focus did a similar one 10 years ago, I'd say Metrik's is the upgrade from it!
Was legit going to ask if you could do a Dimension/Metrik/Culture Shock vibes tut..and here it is!
glad you enjoyed it!

I would say the Andromedik Remix of Howling is my favorite Dancefloor DnB track

STRANJAH loved it, exactly the sound I was trying to make. Would definitely love a more in depth video if possible
I just made my first ever dance floor drum and bass song using this tutorial. It was a lot of fun and I'm pleased with how the song came out!
Your intros remind me of the Aquabats! Love it!
hahaha i had no idea what the aquabats are but looked up and that is hilarious!

You should totally expand that out and then put out a release on RAM! Awesome tutorial, thank you loads. Gonna check the Metrik one next
Another sick video bro. For dance floor smashers, Juno by Sun Focus and Generator by Mind Vortex are two of my favourite mainstreamers.
