Drum and Bass HAS to be one of my FAVORITE genres! I've been inspired by some amazing artists such as Dimension, Subfocus, Culture Shock, 1991, Worship, MUZZ, Bou, Nesky, Noisia, Kanine, REAPER, Luude, Hedex, and SO MANY MORE.

Honestly, Moonboy´s tutorials are one of the best on RUclips.

Sub Focus has been doing this since the mid 2000's. It's been extremely popular forever now in UK, Europe and NZ. Also, it's an 8th note bass, not a 16th note bass.
he's a Johnny come lately from L.A., what does he know about dnb? 🤠16th if you are counting half-time, 8th if counting the actual BPM, jungle/DnB basslines were orignally in half-time, with the breaks setting the tempo, so you could sway, or bop, depending how shitfaced you were!

You should try a psytrance tutorial or some other trance subgenre.

20 years? DnB and jungle was going off in the mid 90s rave scene. But it never really took off. It was always more underground. It’s nice to see it going more mainstream. Because now we can get more unique styles of dnb. Love it.

imo dnb has got worse over the years especially since 2020. For me at 32 years old dnb’s sweet spot was around 2009-2012. Now it’s got popular in the mainstream modern dnb really isn’t my thing

It's been widespread for like 15-20 years :| :| :| It just never gained attention in the USA which seemed to be like the only country worldwide that doesn't like DnB.
2. Don't start with 172 BPM, start with 174 BPM which is more standard BPM for this sub-genre. 172 BPM is used for some deep or neurofunk DnB tracks
