It was a real journey getting here. Finding out that the magazine was out of print and not available. Looking at the online version but finding out the tutorial wasn't part of the download pack. Finally finding the magazine for sale on Ebay. A couple of weeks later I get the magazine through the door only to find out it's a link to a RUclips video. Still. Worth it.
Get ZINIO and buy the issue you want there. I just like DnB tutorials so easy to pick out the relevant issues. The Computer Music FileVault is also accessible from there.
When I use LFO tool, to combat latency, I just took all the kicks and duplicated them on a silent midi track and made the source that midi track, that way it is still dead on the kicks without latency, and you can still use the lfotool envelopes.
You could also just flip the phase of one of the snare parts to make it in phase if you wanted. Really easy and will give an even more punchy sound than you already have.
You might want to appreciate that you're actually learning from somebody that is literally one of the most respected people in the scene. Not a smart move to throw shade on somebody that is, not hiding techniques from you, because they want to sell you their course later.
It is impossible to get that much of valuable information from a professional anywhere else
Absolutely one of the best drum & bass tutorials ever made. Big up Metrik
Agreed! So much in there. Will need to watch it at least a few times.

Maybe the most articulately delivered tutorials for dnb production I’ve ever watched. The basics done right.
Love how the computer music logo covers the operator instrument :(
A few years ago i fell in love with 'Flighwave' and now a am watching a Metrik Masterclass. Live can be good!
One of the most intelligently produced production videos I’ve ever seen. Cheers Metrik!
that LFO tool point changed everything
Finally! Someone else who uses groups to create a dry/wet mix!
Only 30 minutes through and have a lot to think about. Respect. Big man crush on this man.
Finally we have the full video! 💜 Such a great track! 🎶🎧🎶
This is insane. Probably the best tutorial I have ever seen. Big up for making so much from scratch and controlling your sound as needed

What is the name of the Oscilloscope he has ?
If you or anyone here knows please share with us. 19:46
Thirded
Does anyone know what the outboard analyser he's using is?
DMG Audio Trackmeter and RME Digicheck running on a diferent computer. He explains it on detail on a studio walkthrough on his channel.
Anybody know how he still kept the swingy sidechain vibe with the second kick when moving from lfotool to chainshaper?
never cared before about offset. Great insight!
Anybody know what rackmount analyzer / oscilloscope (or whatever that is on the left side) he has on his desk?
I hope he's figured out how to put Span in mid-side mode - that's super helpful
