It's interesting how Francoeur can't speak unless he's singing. Ironically, the one language (music) he can speak in, he speaks it fluently and beautifully. =D I love his singing voice.

I come in late but my theory is that it's the potion's fault -"melodious voice" is more like musical thing than a talking thing. Which is why he can't really talk but can only sing.

Brenda Gornick exactly. That is what I love about this song. It shows a side of a so called "monster" that no one bothers looking at...the human side. The side that shows that even the scariest of things are vulnerable.

Sewn Lennon's voice is PERFECT, the blend of flea (monster) and the voice fits like hand and glove. Sean voice and the instruments are such a unique blend for such a UNIQUE sounding voice. I can't stop listening to the song. I have it recorded on my phone (lol). Francoeur and Lucille has that love for the stage and music which makes them blend together like magic. I really the movie BUT I really love the music of Lucille and Francoeur. B E A U T I F U L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We can’t lie this is one of the best soundtracks in any movie
While I find Francoeur to be adorable, and while I think that he and Lucille did have great chemistry on stage, in the end, it just seemed to be more of a brother and sister relationship. Plus there's that whole history thing between Lucille and Raoul. And the simple fact that Francoeur seemed to love the music and singing most of all. If it was ever decided that a sequel to this movie should be made, maybe it could have a Love rivalry and confrontation between Raoul and Franc, at least to some degree, but that would be a little too much like Phantom of the Opera...

This movie was a cornerstone of my childhood. In many ways I felt as if I was like Franqere when I would watch it. His loneliness and his sadness resonated with alot of us as kids. The movie was absolutely beautiful, but I won't lie when I say every movie as its own cringy budget animations and acting. Either way this film was amazing, I watched it again after listening to this and I still feel that same melancholy of emotion in my heart to this day. Those same emotions I felt that day I watched it my first time. I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who remembers this amazing movie.

There's something about this song that makes me so peaceful. Yes, this song is from a kid's movie, but god does it have some secret messsages. Like, referencing to hiding yourself, hiding your love, feeling like a monster. It's so melancholy, and I love it.

If La Seine meant him it would be spelled Le Seine. So it's definitely not a male name. And yes, it is a river. Which all rivers are preferred by in female terms due to the fact that all sea bearing men were "in love" with the rivers and oceans. That's why they called their ships and oceans and rivers "her".
