Using an airbrush to apply ceramic to the wheel faces, what an EXCELLENT idea!!! Make for such a more uniform application. Nice job, Jakub!
That way we can make sure we get excellent, even coverage. Game changer!
Fantastic transformation. I can only imagine the client’s facial expression when they arrived to pick it up. Stellar work, as usual.
We tried to get a video of the reaction but sometimes its just more fun to see how happy they get :)
If I may suggest, I'd wear some additional PPE for dry ice cleaning and ceramic coating spraying. There is a lot of dirt that flies around during dry ice cleaning. And ceramic coating with silica dioxide, titanium dioxide, and solvents is not healthy for your lungs. In addition to those nitrile gloves you've got on, I'd recommend safety glasses and a respirator. Just my recommendations. Do what you are comfortable with. Regardless, the Cayenne looks great and can't argue with the results!
Good information.
Another superb video from the studios of I Am Detailing. Always top notch!!!!
Thanks buddy! We appreciate the supporr!
Only criticism (amazing video though...very impressive)? Brother, wear a mask when airbrushing ceramic coating. I use the same strategy and didnt wear one either until I had a doctor customer explain to me how just minute amounts of those particles getting into your lungs can cause major issues...crystallization! And its subtle. Do it enough and one day in a couple years you'll be like "fuck I cant breath right". Its never an issue when applying it with pads etc., so its not super intuitive to think to wear a mask, but its totally necessary to avoid hurting your health. Great Video though! Just trying to look out for a fellow detailer!
I just love these videos, so satisfying to see the outcome at the end.
Just another epic transformation from IM!
so after watching this i know who im taking my cayenne Too you guys slayed the paint work. i know that paint is not easy to work with. glad to see your local to me and wish i seen this sooner before attepting the job my self. ill be getting a quote for the dry ice trim restoration amazing work. cheers
Amazing job guys!
And that 928 in the background is also stunning!❤
Great work!
Stunning❤
Beautiful… top notch. My favorite Porsche model. 😎👊🏻🔨
Such a stunner! Thanks Joe!
Incredible work. If there’s any 16 year old kids living local you should do what I would do, offer my services evenings/weekends free of charge. I’d make the tea, I’d sweep the floor, I’d do anything to learn these peoples awesome skills.
Thanks for the video. I do not decontaminate with ferric and Clay Clay before polishing?🤔.
What spotlights are you using on the walls along that track system?
You are definitely a professional, friend❤️✌️🧢
Thank you 🫡 appreciate the support!
Excellent work as always. I especially enjoyed watching the PXE-80 with the micro cone attachment in use. I got the aftermarket attachment piece for the small micro polishing cones for my own FLEX PXE-80 from Detail Division and it is worth every cent when you have that unusual area that needs polishing. And it's a much cheaper option than the newly introduced Flex branded rotary shaft attachment for the micro cones for the PXE=80 which is $300!!!!! That's WAY WAY WAY too much for that attachment piece by itself (Flex branded or not!) and Flex should really rethink their business model and profit margins on that particular piece. They should be charging about $150 maximum for that attachment.
There is complete quality! Looks like something!! haha
5:10 is that a yellow wool Rupes pad? If so, why is he using this when you were using a blue? Was damage slightly less here?
I also noticed the stock “C” in Cayenne S & the black one are different. I thought that black one looked crooked.
Now if you could just make a house call to do my 1 of 2 Porsche 968!♥️
We can have our tow driver do the house call! Lol ;)
Lets see that 928 video too...
Do you throw away the microfiber sponge applicator after each ceramic coat or do you know a way to wash them? Just seems like an expensive thing to be burning through
What lights do you guys use? Specifically the one at 16:30.
like new
👍
👏👍😁
👌👌💛👍superbe👍 magnifique du très bon boulot thanks 😎
Well done. What did you charge the customer?
May I ask how much a 5 day detail like this runs? Love the videos
Every project is different and tailored to the budget of the owner, so we don’t share specific details like that on RUclips. If you’re interested in having a similar service done to your vehicle, you can reach out through the form on our website: iamdetailing.com
What about maybe giving us a price range ??? Are we talking $500 - $1k or $1k - $1,500k ? Or $2k - $2,500k or $3,500k+ ????
Hey Jake! Man that deep, deep Blue is so rich. I love a Blue that looks Black except in direct light. Enjoy the long weekend brother. Best, Peter
Have an excellent weekend Peter!
The color is Black Metallic
@@darrenpitts4521 No it's not. Look at the video, it's obviously blue.
@@peterbellini6102 Sorry, but it is Black Metallic. I gave the video another look (you’re welcome Jakub).
Perhaps the brilliant lights IAMDETAILING uses plays tricks with colors.
Nice transformation. Too bad about the yellowed plastics under the hood. Distracts from an otherwise nice look.
Front passenger side wheel centre cap in the wrong position though. Porsche should be with bottom of the crest pointed to the valve stem.
Never fails to impress. Was this for a dealership or a private owner. I’m actually kinda interested in this Porsche. Lol
Private Owner
Amazing work. However, why would the customer drop $6,000+ to do all this work on a Cayenne?!
Because he loves his wife and wants her to be happy 😊
Oh wow, so you DO bling vehicles that are NOT vintage Porsche 911s and other 4-wheeled things worthy of Monterrey car week!
All kidding aside, great work on this project. The total blackout is not something you see on that model, because it wasn’t sold that way for the 958. Those wheels and the chrome delete truly separates this 400 HP V8, …Beast.
Probably doesn’t need a M button, huh?
😁😜 Very happy YOU’RE HAPPY! It came out great and I love the spec you chose. Only issue is that now MY girl wants one just like it 🙈
Looks like $50-75 bucks of work. Probably $50 cash does the trick. Lose a little on each job but make up for it in volume.
My attention span would be very discombobulated with 5 days of pure work!
Congratulations on another marathon.
More or less ;) Thanks Spencer! Appreciate the support!
HOW MUCH😊
TRANSFORMATION ok... only cleaning
🙄
👍👍👍
🥂👍👍👍
