  • In this video I demonstrate how to strip and reassemble the Bruni Mod 92 (Berretta 92F Replica). Sorry the video is slightly out of focus, I didn't realise at the time, I may try to do this video again in the future if it recieves enough interest.

    TOP TIP! Once the gun is reassembled, put the magazine back in (empty) and rack the slide back so it locks in the empty chamber position, the spring guide has a very convenient hole near the tip. Push something through that and release the slide catch, then push the locking bolt back in and pull what ever you used in the hole - out. Hey presto, your reassembled. Pull the empty magazine out and rack the slide a few times to make sure it’s all in properly. Pull all the way back and pull up to make sure it’s all correct

      The Bruni made version of this blank firer does not have that hole. Only the Kimar made version does

    Great vid, it helped me out. Thanks. At the 03:50 mark I was struggling so I placed the lever in position while the gun was on its side and as I pulled the spring, it dropped into place. Was a fair bit easier!

    • @UKGuns

      Spare parts are incredibly difficult to get hold of. You can contact Bruni directly (they are an Italian company so dont often want to ship anything internationally) or thw UK distributor which I believe is John Rothery wholeaale. Your best bet is probably to buy a new one as they aren't very expensive

    Can anyone who owns this gun help me ive recently bought this replica and every time i fire it the magazine flys out of the bottom of it with a ton of force also when i put a round in the chamber it tends to fail to extract the cartridge when i rack it and it also double feeds alot does anyone else have these problems with this replica and know what causes it ? It almost seems like the magazine sits too high up or maybe it is an extractor problem?

      Hairdryer, use it on the barrel to make the glew flow again, take a hand drill, or a screwdriver and make it going into the plastic then pull it out

    hey i need some help pls, when i try to assembly my bruni again, can't pull the spring, its like too tight, i tried to with a pliers and nothing...

    • @UKGuns
      @UKGuns  4 года назад +1

      Hi, it does take a bit of force but is usually do-able with a pair of pliers. I would start over, remove the Slide Return Guide and Slide Return Guide Spring. Then start the re-assembly from scratch, ensure the Slide Return Guide (the rod under the barrel) is seated correctly in its recess (it should sit almost flush with the bottom platform of the pistol) then ensure the Slide Return Guide Spring is all the way along the Slide Return Guide and that it is seated correctly within the slide. Then once you have the slide on pull the slide rearward to expose the tip of the slide return guide, you could then try gripping it with your fingers in a towel (to increase friction) and then pull it forward until you can see clearly through the disassembly pin recess under the slide, then insert your dissassembly pin and rotate it to lock it in place.

      @@UKGuns no pliers needed. Just put a lighter in the space where the shell pops out and then u can easily pull the spring back. Easy peasy...

    • @UKGuns
      @UKGuns  4 года назад +1

      @@griffonsa if that works for you, but I wouldnt recommend holding a lighter to any part of the pistol for a number of reasons.

    in the uk are you allowed to own a black side venting blank gun ?

    • @alexmh6131
      @alexmh6131 Год назад

      You can own a top venting, not sure about side venting. As for colour, mine is a dark blue on the slide so not black. Not sure if two tone laws apply to blank fire guns. But I’m assuming it does since you can’t buy full black in the UK (not that I’ve seen)

    What happens if you put a live round in it?

    • @UKGuns
      @UKGuns  3 года назад +3

      They are specifically designed so that you can not do that. The chamber isnt big enough to accept a live round but if you were stupid enough to find a way to make one fit the gun would likely explode in your hand as these are not made from the same material as a real firearm and thus are not capable of handling the pressure of live ammunition, also as the barrel is sealed the projectile would hit that and likely send debris back into the shooters face. I can not say this enough... DO NOT EVER TRY THIS. Also if you live here in the UK it is extremely illegal.

    Too bad it is not 100% like a Beretta field strip even if it is quite similar but great blank-firing gun.

    In the manual it says to put on the saftety and then cock the slide. So is that a mistake?

    • @UKGuns
      @UKGuns  2 года назад

      I have never seen the manual but what I have seen is several of these with broken safety catches because when you cycle the slide with the safety engaged it forces the safety off. Do that enough times and the safety catch literally falls out of the gun. Seen it on at least 3 or 4 occasions.

      @@UKGuns im honestly suprised i even got a reply on a 3 year old video hahaha. Yeah i recently bought one and for some reason it said to put it on safe then rack the slide. But i think it might be a translation mistake they made.
      Also of you dont mind me asking questions do you know if real baretta grip plates fit i would like to costumize mine (cosmeticly)
      Like costum grips for example. Id like wooden grips

    • @UKGuns
      @UKGuns  2 года назад

      @@HighMinds010 I always try to respond to sensible comments lol I'm not 100% sure about the grips, I know the Bruni 1911 grips are interchangeable with real 1911 grips as I know people who have swapped them. I also know the Bruni 92 fits in standard (real) Beretta 92 holsters so the dimensions must be very close but the question would be whether the screw holes lines up!

    • @HighMinds010
      @HighMinds010 2 года назад +1

      @@UKGuns intresting i imagine if they lined up for the 1911 they would also make the 92 as close to reality as possible so they might fit. I bet i have to give it a shot and otherwise maybe think outside the box and make them myself🤔
