  • Easy, fast and incredibly delicious, softest strawberry cake
    In this video, I'll show you how to make the softest, moist strawberry cake that's incredibly delicious and super easy to prepare. Perfect for any occasion, this cake will become your go-to dessert!
    Ingredients:
    320 g (2 2/3 cups) all-purpose flour
    3 tsp baking powder
    3 eggs
    250 g (1 1/4 cups) sugar
    230 g (8 oz) plain liquid yogurt
    225 g (8 oz) sunflower oil
    400 g (14 oz) cleaned and chopped strawberries
    Powdered sugar for dusting
    Instructions:
    1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
    2. Grease and flour a 22 x 22 cm (9-inch) baking pan, then line the bottom with parchment paper.
    3. In a bowl, stir together the flour and baking powder.
    4. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy.
    5. Add the yogurt and sunflower oil to the egg mixture, and mix to combine.
    6. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir a couple of times with a spatula to ensure everything is well incorporated.
    7. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
    8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 7 minutes.
    9. Remove from the oven (leave the oven on) and evenly distribute the chopped strawberries over the partially baked batter.
    10. Pour the remaining batter over the strawberries, spreading it evenly and making sure to cover the edges.
    11. Bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
    12. Allow the cake to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
