Bruh I’m 6’4” 290 and these shoes were perfect when I got them. I have to put a lot of force into my jumps to dunk, and these have continuously held up. Honestly after watching all the reviews, they made me feel those achilles pads were going to be a problem. I’m telling you as a bigger player they were absolutely not an issue. Also the cushion is best if you have a lot of weight bearing down into the shoe. I think the more force you can put into the shoe, the better they perform. I could totally see that air strobel unit not being comfortable for smaller players. Feels good for me though, it feels like I’m walking on reinforced bubble wrap.
I completely agree with your synopsis Josh. I think legitimately as heavier players this is a better shoe. I weigh 300lbs and find this to shoe to be amazing. I think this shoe is designed for people that exert a lot of force and aren’t as good for lighter players.

I've ordered them in purple color but i am not happy and return them. The cushion in the backside is so uncomfy pressing my at my achilles tendon so it hurts. Also the shoe came out to small. You should order them at least one size bigger. The shoe is very hard, uncomfy and small sized, that you should really try them in a store to avoid false order. The leather is good quality in my opinion and the purple color of them is really dope. But personally i can't recommend them too.
why does this look so much like a trav shoe?! hahaha jokes aside, the amount dust that’s picked up on the outsole is enough for me to not consider these :/ as for shoes to review: new balance two wxy, Anta KT, KD 15s and Kyrie Low 5s - and maybe if you can get your hands on it / down to hoop with them: kobe 6 protro?! hahaha

I had the Zion 1 last season best experience of my life, really confortable and these were trampolines. I have never seen a shoes that was making me flying like that. By buying the next generation model I had big expectations and I am so disapointed. I wore my Zion 2 for 1 month now and I can't spend one more game with them. These shooes are terrible, not bouncy and so hard. My foot are burning inside them when I grind wich causes frictions and that's very uncomfortable. Go for the Zion 1, the second model is not worth it.

I'm not a huge guy, but I'm 225lbs, I've really enjoyed playing in these. The Achilles cushion never bothered me post break in. I agree forefoot cushioning should be the same as the Jordan 37s which have amazing forefoot cushioning but I feel they are designed for smaller guards and run narrow. I have the blue and black colorway. I'm definitely keeping them.

I think these are fire. The patchwork design and the voodoo framing make these a great casual shoe vs. being a good basketball shoe.

I just got these and idk what your wearing but you can feel the huge air pocket in the sole but I agree the ankle support is to tight
