Buenas, vi la película de kfp 4 y me gustó pero.. no tanto. Una de las principales cosas que no me convencieron fue la villana y su historia, así que hice esta versión de La Camaleona, además de que le cambie su nombre y le di un origen a su maldad y locura. Esto no es oficial de la cinta, es como un fanmade, la música tampoco es mía, le pertenece a la misma película. ✨💝
Y como arreglarías a la Zorra/Loba (nose muy bien que animal es XD😅), siento que ella también se tendrían que mejorar. Algún ejemplo sería que tuviera un pasado más trágico que de que mostraron en la película.

Siendo sincero, me gusta más este origen que tu hiciste más que lo que vimos en la película porque el origen que vimos en la película es completamente ridículo. La Camaleona se volvió malvada sólo porque ella quería aprender kung fu pero en todas la escuelas (o dojos) no la aceptaron sólo porque es chaparra. ¿En serio? Pero si hemos vistos maestros del kung fu que son muy pequeños y tienen estilo sin importar su tamaño. Por ejemplo, Mantis al ser un insecto tiene la técnica en el combate del kung fu y nadie lo critica, al igual que Víbora, el maestro Shifu y hasta el maestro Gallo que a pesar de su menor tamaño tienen la técnica del kung fu, obviamente Dreamworks decidió ignorar las 3 películas y poner el origen de la Camaleona muy patético.
This is way better than her canon backstory. You gave her a stronger parallel to Po in how they needed to learn their own way of performing Kung fu; however while Oogway and Shifu encouraged his creativity, The Chameleon’s parents shunned her for not doing it “the right way”. It does a great job at demonstrating the importance of a good mentor and giving Po a reason to become the spiritual leader.
Isn't it intriguing, that of every villain he faced, canon or fanon connections, always had a backstory that connected in someway to Po's past or life? Tai lung strove to be the best he could be, guided by shifu who believed he was the best, but denied Validation made him dark as he strove to take what he believed he was owed. Points of lack of Self-confidence that, had Po had that One bad day and having no one believe in his potential, could have made Po walk the path of Darkness as easily as Tai-lung did. Lord Shen couldn't accept that his path was wrong and Wiped the panda's out when it be foretold he be stopped by a warrior of black and white. Clinging tightly to a dark past; Po would have probably become just as resentful and angry, had he held onto his tragic past, unable to let go of what had been. While Kai is an oddity in my opinion in form of connection to Po and of Adversarial role... everything else? Especially with the fanon rewrite to Chameleon's backstory: If Po's experience in Kung-fu went just like her's, even if it wasn't sorcery he turned to and he'd been rejected of the method by a bad mentor; he'd probably wind up just like her. Is a funny think of nemesis and enemies, when they went through the same experiences as you did, but they did not have the support you had to be good people; where you having that ONE bad day, and you could have turned out like they did. Always fascinating plot like that.

The idea of Po eventually becoming too corrupted by his own power sounds interesting, but idk if he at that point was at any danger of becoming like Kai.
agreed, I was much more intruiged with this backstory than the canon story of "tee hee youre too short for kung fu", where the canon backstory only worked because mantis and viper werent present in the movie.
That's because the director didn't want to her a backstory the writers had to plea for him to add one and by the time he allowed it, it was too late. They had to work with a very limited time and opportunities they've got. at least that's what I've heard.
The people working on the films should have more creativity and control over the film, instead, the company just pushing buttons and, you know, making everything be stressful and I have deadlines

Yea. Shifu is small and mantis is even smaller. And viper is a snake. No arms and wouldn’t she be somewhat small too? Anyway she looks like she is at the height of tai lung’s belt (when you look at tai king fighting her) making her just a little shorter than shifu. But still a lot bigger than mantis Oh yeah, wasn’t po teaching some small bunnies kung fu in the furious 5 backstory shorts?
oh... my... gosh This is really soooo much better than the reason the original movie chose not only is it fitting to the other villains (bc they were also in some kind way betrayed or seen as not worthy) but it also fits the vibe of the franchise also I love that transition from the dreamwork's logo to the baby chameleon, that would have been such a great and fitting way to start the movie in conclusion: it is 100x times better than the original one and should be canon in my opinion
Yeah but even if someone had suggested a good backstory like that to the director, they would have rejected that backstory and still go for what they unfortunately gave us because the director didn't want to give her a backstory. Why? I've no clue, most likely just laziness lol

se sabe que la camaleona y Zhen carecian de una historia de fondo e incluso se ofrecieron muchas ideas pero al final el director las rechazaba pensando que ninguno de estos debia tener historia hasta que se insistió fue que pudieron darle algo pero claro solo un par de líneas(en resumen Mike no fue un buen director y es mejor que lo saquen)
No sé si quien hizo esta obra de arte sea animador. Pero quiero aclarar, no confundir animación y storyboard. Uno usa imágenes estáticas con el movimiento justo y necesario; el otro usa movimiento continuo y fluidez. El del video es un Storyboard, y muy bueno.

Now that is more like it. That sounds much more like a Kung Fu Panda villain story than the actual “Chameleon” backstory. They couldn’t even be bothered to give her a proper name. We have Tai Lung, Shen, Kai, then we have “Chameleon”.
Now this is much better than the movie. Gives a reason why she’d steal others’ kung fu while also fitting the vibe most of the villains have of being rejected and becoming filled with hate and wanting revenge.
This backstory makes perfect sense. NO ONE in the studio could think of this? All they had to do was replace random king fu characters with her family😂 Also I think her backstory is a combination of the past three villains. Tai lung: Wanting to be what he was raised up to fulfill. Shen: Wanting to be accepted for his differences. Kai: Wanting to be treated as an equal. Utterly fascinating.
This honestly makes a lot more sense than her original backstory, and it gives her a reason to be evil. Thank you for actually making a great backstory that professional writers couldn’t
Writers could, it’s the stupid greedy executives that make movie worse, and are the reason why many Hollywood artists are being threatened due to executive wanting to use AI, thinking they could make good movie when they don’t have the creativity of actual artist and creators

Honestly the amount of effort put into this, not just story but look and feel really does appear official. Like this is the storyboard or early plans for the films opening during production and the final product would be around the corner. Just imagining how it would look in the movie form, opening similar to the first or second movies, and you clearly have some serious talent and thoughtful mind to back it up. Fantastic work!
Esto es justamente algo que esperaba que pasara al inicio de la peli, una presentación en animación 2D parecido a la primera pelicula, haciendo más paralelismo con Po. En casi 2 minutos le diste un mejor transfondo a la villana.
Esta sí que es una verdadera y digna historia de origen, si los directores de la película llegan a ver esto y están de acuerdo entonces la canonización será legendaria por tremenda obra maestra. 😎👍

The more I watched and read fanfics of a Rewrite KFP4, the more I think what could have been better. This is a better backstory for The Chameleon than the original film.

This is way better than the "origin" we got. 1) It has depth. 2) The Chameleon actually HAS A NAME. 3) It's a better excuse to become a villain than simply "I'm small!1!" 4) this is more from my obversation; but this origin is a mix of all previous villains. Princess Gongzhu grew up with expectiations on her shoulders *(Tai Lung)* , she let the desire for a greater power get the better of her *(Kai)* , and after she was sentenced away by her family. *(Lord Shen)* 5) The Dreamworks Logo transition was so clean. 6) It opens up more lore in the KFP Universe. (Her family history.)

Esto me gusta más que el origen que le dieron en la película. La historia que le pusiste tiene más sentido que la explicación de que ella no podía aprender por su tamaño cuando también existen maestros como Mantis.
vi a alguien( no me acuerdo pero creo que era del equipo que participo) que se supone que no todos los dojos son diversos y muchos de ellos no aceptan a cualquiera esto según algunos detalles en cortos, pero no niego que no profundizaron en ese tema
Aunque sea una versión de la historia de Shen, el que mantengas la idea de la "Deficiencia física" y cómo está narrada, hace que sea tan Genial! Me encanta el arte por cierto.
This is what the final villain should’ve been I like how it kinda combines everyone’s story. Tai Long being promised great power, Shen, being banished from his family, and Kai’s sorcery this feels like something worthy of a final battle
Ahora solo falta que le hagas una historía a Zhen que si podamos conectar con ella y que se diera a entender que sí es la elegida para ser la sucesora de Po.
creo que se mostro pequeños indicios ( los pétalos y que Po vio a Zhen a través de los ojos de la estatua de Oogway) pero no se profundizo mucho ya que muchas cosas eran apresuradas

Leagues better than what we got. If I recall Lord Shen had similar desire to Chameleon's canon desire... To destroy Kung Fu. Personally when I saw the trailer, I thought her backstory would have been that she was Oogway's apprentice BEFORE Shifu, but he saw great evil in her and cast her out.

"Esa es una historia de origen brutal" De verdad está genial!! , me encanta porque capturaste la esencia de las primeras peliculas, me recuerda a la historia de Lord Shen, al ser rechazado por su familia, ellos querían hacerles ver a sus hijos el mal camino que estaban tomando, pero lamentablemente quisieron seguir al mal. También es una buena enseñanza, sobre tener cuidado con el modo de decir las cosas, porque los hijos pueden salir profundamente heridos a pesar que la intención de los padres sea buena
Not only that. She had expectations like tai lung and gained chi powers like Kai. She wanted to make her family proud like tai lung to shifu, and wanted to do it by sorcery like the way Kai wanted to become powerful by stealing chi. And then was casted out for cheating by her family.
10/10 backstory, very much fitting for the character than the pathetic official backstory of "I'm being called small so im gonna be evil because of it" type of shmit, like there are multiple characters that are very much smaller than her
Nice job, not only did you make it completely better with the backstory, but you also made it like an intro to a movie instead and showed a scene of chameleon using her own made up staff to summon the spirits establishing her as more of threat than the movie did, good job on doing two things better tham the original movie

Me gusta mucho el que actue como la contraparte de Po o incluso de Tailung comparandola con la primera película en el hecho de que ella no hubiera tenido talento para el kung fu, pero igual siento su historia me parece parecida a la de Shen xd

Me inclino ante tal obra de arte que es este fanmade un youtuber le da una mejor historia a la que pudo ser la villana mas poderosa que se ha enfrentado po y no como lo que tuvimos en cines como tal ahora en algunas ocasiones las compañías de producción mas famosas solo piensan en el dinero y no en la calidad del guion de sus películas o serie y otras veces si lo hacen de dar una película o serie, antes si le daban amor y pasion de dar una buena película o serie y dejar un gran mensaje y ahora veo que pocas veces lo hacen
About the Chameleon family school of Kung Fu, I’d imagine the technique being similar to blending in with the environment, like espionage, saving the hand to hand combat for when they trap their enemies.
I honestly would have made her not only have a proper name, but also have her so narcissistic, that she blamed her physical size, when she was told that it was her heart and mind that were small instead. But I think you did a good job giving her a proper background too.
Está genial el Storyboard. Y respecto a la Camaleo-NAH!! A mí me pareció una villana normalita, lo destacable fue el que fuera una cambiaformas. La película en si está genial, pero los críticos la aplastaron. Lo importante es disfrutarla. PD: Zhen GOD deidad besto personaje 20/10 y no es un personaje plano, cuando digo que personaje plano me refiero a uno irrelevante, sin desarrollo o que solo esté porque sí, no la otra manera, y quién ose contradecirme es fan de Kunno (ok no)
For some reason, the video didn't have any sound for me (idk if it's a glitch or it should have audio at all), and I don't know Spanish, but I understood the story anyway. And boy is it good! It gives the Chameleon 1000x more depth that the KFP4 movie itself. Also, I liked the anti-Yin-yang staff you gave her, as a reverse variant of Po's staff.
Lo que puso ser un lord shen 2.0 se quedó como una villana simplona. Además que pudieron usar algo que se escribió en marvel con un villano llamado Task Master, ese villano usa técnicas de otras heroes con sólo observarlos, pudieron sacar algo de eso para la película. 😅

I like it! I always figured "no one taught her kung fu because sorcery and kung fu do not mix" would have been a better backstory than, "I'm small... oh, hi Mantis!" Also was expecting the twist that she was impersonating the silver fox the whole time-- maybe to trick Po into teaching her kung fu.
When a fan made a greater story than whatever came up in the movie, you know that they did something wrong with it. And there were many things wrong with the movie.

Se que este es el soundtrack cuando "Tai Lung" volvio, pero con esta historia le hubiera quedado mejor así, a parte trae nostalgia cuando nos cuenta la historia de lord shen
In itself it is a mix between that of Shen and Po, something more tragic, because the chameleon had not done anything wrong, she just wanted to be accepted, instead of discrediting her, but it would never happen, and she took her own path, in itself it is a really decent and somewhat deep story, much better than the one in the original
“Ladies and gentlemen, it is her, the Chameleon!” This one makes me feel so bad for her. Like, her original backstory was complete wack. I love how this one gives viewers empathy for her yet still shows us her root of evil, and why she’s so obsessed with being good at Kung Fu.

No sé si quien hizo esta obra de arte sea animador. Pero quiero aclarar, no confundir animación y storyboard. Uno usa imágenes estáticas con el movimiento justo y necesario; el otro usa movimiento continuo y fluidez. El del video es un Storyboard, y muy bueno.

Now that is more like it. That sounds much more like a Kung Fu Panda villain story than the actual “Chameleon” backstory. They couldn’t even be bothered to give her a proper name. We have Tai Lung, Shen, Kai, then we have “Chameleon”.
She should’ve been named Qian Mian （千面), which is Chinese for a thousand faces, or at least something more creative than the chameleon
Also make her an actual threat and do something instead of shoving people down the stairs.

Honestly the amount of effort put into this, not just story but look and feel really does appear official. Like this is the storyboard or early plans for the films opening during production and the final product would be around the corner. Just imagining how it would look in the movie form, opening similar to the first or second movies, and you clearly have some serious talent and thoughtful mind to back it up. Fantastic work!

The more I watched and read fanfics of a Rewrite KFP4, the more I think what could have been better. This is a better backstory for The Chameleon than the original film.

This is way better than the "origin" we got.
1) It has depth.
2) The Chameleon actually HAS A NAME.
3) It's a better excuse to become a villain than simply "I'm small!1!"
4) this is more from my obversation; but this origin is a mix of all previous villains. Princess Gongzhu grew up with expectiations on her shoulders *(Tai Lung)* , she let the desire for a greater power get the better of her *(Kai)* , and after she was sentenced away by her family. *(Lord Shen)*
5) The Dreamworks Logo transition was so clean.
6) It opens up more lore in the KFP Universe. (Her family history.)

This is what the final villain should’ve been I like how it kinda combines everyone’s story. Tai Long being promised great power, Shen, being banished from his family, and Kai’s sorcery this feels like something worthy of a final battle

También es una buena enseñanza, sobre tener cuidado con el modo de decir las cosas, porque los hijos pueden salir profundamente heridos a pesar que la intención de los padres sea buena

She wanted to make her family proud like tai lung to shifu, and wanted to do it by sorcery like the way Kai wanted to become powerful by stealing chi. And then was casted out for cheating by her family.

10/10 backstory, very much fitting for the character than the pathetic official backstory of "I'm being called small so im gonna be evil because of it" type of shmit, like there are multiple characters that are very much smaller than her
this is very good, gave the villian some humanity allowed us to form some form of empathy despite her being the villian
Nice job, not only did you make it completely better with the backstory, but you also made it like an intro to a movie instead and showed a scene of chameleon using her own made up staff to summon the spirits establishing her as more of threat than the movie did, good job on doing two things better tham the original movie

Me inclino ante tal obra de arte que es este fanmade un youtuber le da una mejor historia a la que pudo ser la villana mas poderosa que se ha enfrentado po y no como lo que tuvimos en cines como tal ahora en algunas ocasiones las compañías de producción mas famosas solo piensan en el dinero y no en la calidad del guion de sus películas o serie y otras veces si lo hacen de dar una película o serie, antes si le daban amor y pasion de dar una buena película o serie y dejar un gran mensaje y ahora veo que pocas veces lo hacen
About the Chameleon family school of Kung Fu, I’d imagine the technique being similar to blending in with the environment, like espionage, saving the hand to hand combat for when they trap their enemies.

I honestly would have made her not only have a proper name, but also have her so narcissistic, that she blamed her physical size, when she was told that it was her heart and mind that were small instead. But I think you did a good job giving her a proper background too.

For some reason, the video didn't have any sound for me (idk if it's a glitch or it should have audio at all), and I don't know Spanish, but I understood the story anyway. And boy is it good! It gives the Chameleon 1000x more depth that the KFP4 movie itself. Also, I liked the anti-Yin-yang staff you gave her, as a reverse variant of Po's staff.

In itself it is a mix between that of Shen and Po, something more tragic, because the chameleon had not done anything wrong, she just wanted to be accepted, instead of discrediting her, but it would never happen, and she took her own path, in itself it is a really decent and somewhat deep story, much better than the one in the original
