If you are wearing a tight jacket over this, wouldn’t the leather jacket keep it from deploying completely or would it actually deploy and potentially squeeze your rib cage? Just asking, thinking.

Do you have to replace the canister every time it's used?

From what I understand, the airbag unit needs to be repacked after the bags deploy. You would need to send it back to Alpinestars, and it costs $189 for the service.
