Some people are giving him props for this title run, it's so baffling in my opinion. The only thing he did right was draft Booker. James Jones inherited a mess and managed to hire Monty Williams, draft great young players, and trade for Chris Paul

King James Jones. Made it finals 9 straight years and won back to back title in 12-13
Those mid 2010s teams were so frustrating and annoying. I can't help but think of Bledsoe and the Morris bros negatively for those days. It was refreshing to see Booker get drafted. He still went through some terrible years. CP3 and Monty Williams really turned things around.

I'm very disappointed that CP3 wasnt one of the finalists for MVP this year. He's the clear cut winner based on his impact on this young team. Hopefully he'll win the finals instead & the finals MVP. He truly deserves it

The 2010s was the hardest stretch to be a Suns fan. Im glad we finally turned it around.

Something forgotten is LaMarcus Aldridge almost signed with Phoenix when Tyson Chandler did. Phoenix thought he was coming so they traded Marcus Morris for basically nothing to clear cap space for him, then he ended up signing with San Antonio instead and Markieff ended up throwing a fit over it for the whole season and eventually being traded to Washington.

This Finals has been very unexpected. The hype isn't really there as we have dark horse teams contending for the Larry O'Brien (I coined the Bucks as a dark horse because I expected the Nets to beat them since they didn't had Giannis).
But hey, it's good to change things up once in a while. Prepare for next season though with teams like the Warriors coming back into contention.
